Former President Trump Guilty On All Counts

Trump Convicted On 34 Counts Of Falsifying Business Records, Where Does America Go From Here

Friday, May 31, 2024, 8:30 A.M. ET. By Jennifer Hodges & Art Fletcher: Englebrook Independent News,

MANHATTAN, NY.- Late yesterday afternoon, a New York County jury found Former President Trump guilty of 34 counts of falsifying business records, making Trump the first former president in the history of the United States to be convicted of a crime.

Whether you like Trump or you don't, whether you are a Democrat, Republican, or Independent, yesterday's historic verdict should concern everyone for the future of the United States and the future of our democracy.

With July 4, 2024, just around the corner and as Americans prepare to celebrate the nation's 248th anniversary of the birth of our democracy, liberty, and freedom, we must never forget, that there are only two things that bind us together as a democracy "The Rule of Law" and "Equal Justice Under the Law."

Again whether you are a Republican, a Democrat, or an Independent we all know that our great nation has made past mistakes and we have always been able to right the wrong. But unfortunately yesterday, for years and decades to come, we may forever regret May 30, 2024's verdict as the fall of our nation's democracy, and the birth of a totalitarian country. To be continued..................

U.S. District Court Judge Denies Special Counsel Jack Smith's Motion

U.S. District Court Judge Cannon Refuses Special Counsel's Motion To Gag Trump In Classified Documents Case

Tuesday, May 28, 2024, 1:30 P.M. ET. By Jennifer Hodges: Englebrook Independent News,

FORT PIERCE, FL.- Today, U.S. District Court Judge Aileen M. Cannon rejected Special Counsel Jack Smith's motion to gag Former President Trump in the classified documents case. In her ruling Judge Cannon stated, that Smith's motion lacked basic legal requirements and professional courtesy.

In Tuesday's order, Judge Cannon found that Smith's prosecutors failed to properly confer with Donald Trump's lawyers before they filed the motion in a clear violation of court rules. The judge said prosecutors did not give Trump's legal team "sufficient time" to review the prosecution's motion, which had been filed Friday evening on the Memorial Day holiday weekend.

Judge Cannon stated, "Because the filing of the Special Counsel's motion did not adhere to these basic requirements, it is due to be denied without prejudice."

On Monday, Trump's attorneys accused the government of "unconstitutional censorship," in their response to federal prosecutors' request to gag Trump in his classified documents case.

Trump's outraged legal team in a filing, asked the Florida federal judge to sanction and fine prosecutors from Special Counsel Jack Smith's office, which requested in their filing on Friday, that the court modify Trump's conditions of release and prohibit Trump from making future statements regarding FBI Agents who executed the search warrant at Mar-a-Lago back on August 22, 2023.

On Friday evening, May 24, 2024, Smith's prosecutors filed a motion to U.S. District Judge Cannon, requesting that she prohibit Trump from making statements that "pose a significant, imminent, and foreseeable danger to law enforcement agents participating in the investigation and prosecution in this case."

Trump in a campaign appeal that FBI Agents were "locked & loaded ready to take him out & put my family in danger."

The prosecution argued that Trump's "deceptive and inflammatory claims," exposed federal agents to unjustified and unacceptable risks," inviting "threats and harassment" against investigators that would "undermine the integrity of the proceedings as well as jeopardize the safety of law enforcement."

Trump's attorneys refuted that claim on Tuesday, that Smith's request was "an extraordinary, unprecedented and unconstitutional censorship application" that "unjustly targets President Trump's campaign speech while he remains the leading candidate for president in the 2024 general election.

Further Trump's legal team requested that Judge Cannon conduct a hearing to determine Smith's motives and purpose in filing the gag order motion on the Friday preceding the Memorial Day weekend. The timing they insisted, violated the federal court rules governing how motions are filed and was grossly unprofessional.

Making Nuclear Power Cleaner & More Efficient

Advancements In Technology Is Turning Nuclear Waste In To Fuel

Tuesday, May 28, 2024, 11:30 A.M. ET. By Ryan Metz: Englebrook Independent News,

MANHATTAN, NY.- As many countries around the world are making the effort to transition from fossil fuels to renewable and clean energy sources, the question of nuclear energy has arisen time and time again. Finally, it seems that over the past few decades, there have been many breakthroughs in technology to make nuclear power a safe and productive alternative.

Transmutex, a company based in Switzerland, has received approval from the Swiss government to begin implementing its nuclear waste reduction technology. The system involves transmuting thorium, a slightly radioactive metal, into a uranium isotope for use as fuel. By utilizing a uranium isotope that has been created through transmutation, there are fewer byproducts resulting in the reduction of nuclear waste by nearly 80%.

Franklin Servan-Schreiber, chief executive of Transmutex, said transmutation was the "first technology that has been taken seriously by a nuclear waste agency to reduce the amount of nuclear waste." Further, Servan-Schreiber said it could be used on 99 percent of the world's nuclear waste and would reduce the time it remains radioactive to "less than 500 years." This is very significant because you can guarantee waterproof storage for 1000 years," he said. He added that the process also reduced the volume of waste by percent.

Other nuclear energy companies have been looking into methods of recycling nuclear waste, with the French company Orano stating that 96% of nuclear waste can be recycled and reused as fuel. Beyond the technologies to deal with nuclear waste, new reactor designs make meltdowns and failures literally impossible.

With the newly created technology to reduce nuclear waste in the first place and the ability to recycle 96% of the nuclear waste already in existence, it seems that safe and efficient nuclear power will soon be widely available worldwide.
