Trenton Man Charged

TRENTON MAN ARRESTED FOR MURDER FOR INTENTIONALLY RUNNING OVER HIS GIRLFRIEND IN DECEMBER IN HILLSIDE NEW JERSEY

HILLSIDE, NJ.- On Sunday, January 30, 2022 Union County Prosecutor William A. Daniel and Hillside Police Chief Vincent Ricciardi announced that on Friday, January 28, 2022 a Trenton, New Jersey man was Arrested and Criminally Charged with running over his Girlfriend in Hillside, New Jersey on December 5, 2021.



     Daaim Boykins, 40, has been Charged with First Degree Murder; Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Third Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon in connection with the Death of Schwnaire Jones, 36, of Willingboro, News Jersey.


     On December 5, 2022, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Member of The Hillside Police Department responded to the area of 41 King Street on a report of a woman being struck by a vehicle. Upon arrival, Police Officers found Ms. Jones, who had sustained critical injuries after being Intentionally Struck by a Motor Vehicle. Ms. Jones had succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.


     An investigation conducted by The Union County Homicide Task Force and The Hillside Police Department, in conjunction with The Union County Sheriff's Office, The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office and The Trenton Police Department were able to identify Mr. Boykins as the Suspect and the individual responsible for the Murder of Ms. Jones.


     " We are grateful for the collaboration of the local law enforcement agencies who assisted our Office, in locating and apprehending the suspect," Prosecutor Daniel said. "And we hope that this arrest can bring some small measure of comfort to all those grieving Ms. Jones."

Arrest Made In Jersey City Fatal Stabbing

JERSEY CITY MAN ARRESTED FOR FRIDAY NIGHT'S FATAL STABBING AT THE DANFORTH AVENUE LIGHT RAIL STATION

JERSEY CITY, NJ.- On Saturday, January 29, 2022 Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced that Members of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit have Arrested a 37-Year-Old man in connection with the Fatal Stabbing of Kenneth Brown, 49, of Jersey City, New Jersey at the Danforth Avenue Light Rail Station in Jersey City.



     Anthony Bell, 37, of Jersey City, New Jersey has been Charged with First Degree Murder; Fourth Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon; and Third Degree Possession of Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose. Mr. Bell was Arrested at The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in Jersey City on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at approximately 1:50 p.m. and was remanded to The Hudson County Correctional Facility pending a first court appearance.


     On Friday, January 28, 2022 at approximately 11:37 p.m., Members of The Jersey City Police Department responded to a report of an injured person on the platform of the Danforth Avenue Light Rail Station.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a male victim, later identified as Kenneth Brown, of Jersey City, New Jersey having sustained an apparent stab wound to his upper body. 


     Mr. Brown was immediately transported by Emergency Medical Services to Jersey City Medical Center where he succumbed to his injury and was pronounced deceased at approximately 12:34 a.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2022. The cause and manner of death are pending the findings of the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office.

MOUNT LAUREL, NJ.- On Friday, January 28, 2022 Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Mount Laurel Township Police Chief Stephen Riedener announced that the 31-Year Old man Charged Thursday with stealing the vehicle and debit card of a Mount Laurel woman found Fatally Bludgeoned in her home Wednesday has been Charged with her Death.



     Andrew Kramer, of Mantua, was Charged Thursday Night with First Degree Murder and Two Counts of Third and Fourth Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose. Mr. Kramer is presently in custody in Philadelphia on Weapons Offenses and Charges of Simple Assault and making Terroristic Threats. The Prosecutor’s Office will seek to Extradite him to New Jersey, where Mr. Kramer will face a Inevitable Detention Hearing in Burlington County Superior Court.


     Mr. Kramer had recently been residing with the victim, Melissa Malcolm, 38, in her home in the 600 block of Mount Laurel Road, but moved out at her request. Ms. Malcolm was found Deceased in her bed on the afternoon of Wednesday, January 26, 2022 after Members of The Mount Laurel Police Department made entry into the residence to conduct a wellness check when she failed to show up for work.


     An subsequent autopsy performed by Burlington County Medical Examiner Dr. Ian Hood determined that Cause of Ms. Malcolm was Blunt Force Trauma to the Head and the Manner of Death to be Homicide.


    The investigation further revealed that Mr. Kramer fled in Ms. Malcolm’s 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee after killing her. Kramer faces additional Charges of Motor Vehicle Theft and using Ms. Malcolm’s Debit Card in the early morning hours of Wednesday, January 26, 2022,  to withdraw cash from machines at convenience stores in Marlton and Brooklawn, New Jersey, where he was captured on a surveillance recording operating her vehicle and making a transaction.


     Mr. Kramer was taken into custody later that day, after Members of The Philadelphia Police Department responded to a business in the 1500 block of Brandywine Street on a report of a Man with a Gun at approximately 5:45 p.m. Upon arrival, Police Officers were told by the caller that he was able to lock the man in a garage after being Threatened at Gunpoint for refusing to provide a ride when he was first approached. Philadelphia police officers entered the business and found Kramer holding the Gun under his chin.


After approximately 30 minutes of talking with Kramer, the officers were able to convince him to put down his loaded .25-Caliber Semi-Automatic Handgun.


     “I’d like to commend the individual whom the defendant confronted in Philadelphia, for his level-headed and resourceful response to this frightening encounter,” Burlington County Prosecutor Coffina said. “I’d like to equally acknowledge the excellent work by the Philadelphia Police Department in their response to the scene and their successful de-escalation of the situation that ensured the defendant did not harm any of the responding officers or himself.”

Union City Man Arrested

65 YEAR OLD UNION CITY MAN CHARGED WITH THE AGGRAVATED SEXUAL ASSAULT OF OF A GIRL UNDER THE AGE OF EIGHT YEARS OLD

JERSEY CITY, NJ.- After suppressing the memories of two years of continued Sexual Abuse by a Forty Five Year Old Man, a Twenty Eight Year Old woman comes forward to reveal the horrific events she had to endure between the Ages of Six and Eight Years Old.



     On Friday, January 28, 2022 Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced that on Thursday, January 27, 2022, Members of The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit Arrested Rodrigo Rivera, 65, of Union City, New Jersey on Charges that he Sexually Assaulted the girl when she was between the Ages of Six and Eight. The victim is now 28 Years Old and Reported the Assaults had occurred inside a Jersey City, New Jersey residence.


     Mr. Rivera has been Charged with First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault; and Second Degree Sexual Assault. Mr. Rivera was Arrested in Hackensack, New Jersey at approximately 5:20 p.m. and was Remanded to The Hudson County Correctional Facility pending his First Court Appearance. The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office has filed a Pretrial Detention Motion which is scheduled for Wednesday, February 2, 2022, in Hudson County Superior Court.

TRENTON, NJ.- On Thursday, January 27, 2022 Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri announced that a Month-Long Investigation in to Narcotics Distribution in Trenton area has concluded with the Arrest of a Jersey City, New Jersey man and the Seizure of $100,000. in Cocaine.


     On Tuesday, January 25, 2022, as part of an ongoing investigation, Members of The Mercer County Narcotics Task Force, The Mercer County Sheriff's Office, and The United States Drug Enforcement Administration were conducting surveillance in Trenton.


     As a result of the investigation and surveillance, Detectives conducted a Motor Vehicle Stop on a Silver BMW in the area of Parkway Avenue. Mercer County Prosecutor's Office Detective Tom Paglione and his Narcotics Canine Dog, Indy. The two conducted an Exterior and Interior Canine Detection Search of the Vehicle. Indy alerted to a Narcotics Odor inside the vehicle. A subsequent search uncovered a Plastic Bag containing One Kilogram of Cocaine.



     Hector Perez-Suarez, 31, of Jersey City, New Jersey was Arrested without incident. A subsequent search of Mr. Perez-Suarez revealed $2100 in U.S. Currency on his Person.


     Mr. Perez-Suarez was formally Charged with First Degree Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance; and First Degree Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance with an Intent to Distribute.


     Mr. Perez-Suarez was processed on the Charges and remanded to The Mercer County Correctional Center, were he will be subject to a Pre-Trial Detention Hearing in Mercer County Superior Court.


     According to Mercer County Prosecutor Onofri, the Seized Narcotics had a estimated Street Value of $100,000.00.

Newark New Jersey Residents Charged

FOUR NEWARK NEW JERSEY RESIDENTS CHARGED WITH NARCOTICS AND WEAPONS OFFENSES IN OCEAN COUNTY

     " Joint Investigation By Members Of The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office & The Essex County Prosecutor's Office Results In The Arrest Of 4 Newark, New Jersey Residents."

TOMS RIVER, NJ.- On Thursday, January 27, 2022 Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer announced that Detectives from The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force and Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit in conjunction with The Manchester Township Police Department Narcotics Enforcement Unit, Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Enforcement Unit, Essex County Crime Scene Investigation Unit, and Ocean County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation into the Distribution of Narcotics in The Ocean County Area. The investigation identified a residence in Newark, New Jersey as being utilized by Karl Murray, 34, for Purposes of Storing and Distributing Heroin and Cocaine in Ocean County.


     On Friday, January 21, 2022, Detectives from The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force, Manchester Township Police Department, and Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Enforcement Unit, established surveillance on Mr. Murray's residence in Newark, New Jersey. Detectives observed Mr. Murray leaving the residence in his vehicle. 


     A subsequent Motor Vehicle Stop was performed on Mr. Murray’s Vehicle; Murray and his two passengers, Tayiyah Jackson, 24, and Abdul Crowley, 22, both of Newark, New Jersey were detained as a result. Mr. Murray was found to be in possession of approximately 100 Wax Folds of Heroin and $2,800 in United States Currency. Detectives also located approximately 50 Vials of Crack Cocaine in the vehicle. All three were placed under Arrest and transported to The Manchester Township Police Department for processing.


     After Mr. Murray’s arrest, Detectives continued surveillance on his residence. Detectives observed John Frazier, 35, of Newark, New Jersey enter the residence, and leave a short time later and place two boxes in the trunk of his vehicle. A motor vehicle stop was subsequently conducted on Mr. Frazier’s Vehicle. 


     Mr. Frazier was found to be in Possession of approximately 150 Wax Folds of Heroin, further, the boxes Mr. Frazier placed in the vehicle contained approximately 4,250 Wax Folds of Heroin. A .40 Caliber Handgun was located in the vehicle as well. Mr. Frazier was taken into custody and transported to Manchester Police Department for processing.


     A Court Authorized Search Warrant was performed on Mr. Murray’s residence and vehicle. As a result, Detectives recovered numerous items from the residence indicative of Narcotics Distribution, and a .45 Caliber Handgun was located in his vehicle.



     Karl Murray, of Newark, New Jersey has been Charged with Possession of More than One-Half Ounce but Less than Five Ounces of Heroin With Intent to Distribute; Possession of Less than One-Half Ounce of Crack Cocaine With Intent to Distribute; Conspiracy to Distribute More than One-Half Ounce but Less than Five Ounces of Heroin; Conspiracy to Distribute Oxycodone; Conspiracy to Distribute Less than One-Half Ounce of Crack Cocaine; Possession of Heroin; Possession of Crack Cocaine; Possession of Oxycodone; Certain Person Not to Possess a Weapon; Unlawful Possession of a Weapon; Possession of a Weapon During Controlled Dangerous Substance Activity; and Hindering Apprehension. Mr. Murray is currently lodged in The Ocean County Jail pending a Detention Hearing.



     Tayiyah Jackson, of Newark, New Jersey has been Charged with Conspiracy to Distribute More than One Half Ounce but Less than Five Ounces of Heroin; Conspiracy to Distribute Oxycodone; Conspiracy to Distribute Less than One-Half Ounce of Crack Cocaine; Possession of Heroin; Possession of Crack Cocaine; Possession of Oxycodone; Unlawful Possession of a Weapon; and Possession of a Weapon During Controlled Dangerous Substance Activity.  Ms. Jackson is currently lodged in The Ocean County Jail pending a Detention Hearing.



     Abdul Crowley, of Newark, New Jersey has been Charged with Conspiracy to Distribute More than One-Half Ounce but Less than Five Ounces of Heroin; Conspiracy to Distribute Oxycodone; Conspiracy to Distribute Less than One-Half Ounce of Crack Cocaine; Possession of Heroin; Possession of Crack Cocaine; Possession of Oxycodone; Unlawful Possession of a Weapon; and Possession of a Weapon During Controlled Dangerous Substance Activity. Mr. Crowley is currently lodged in The Ocean County Jail pending a Detention Hearing.



     John Frazier, of Newark, New Jersey has been Charged with Possession of More than One-Half Ounce but Less than Five Ounces of Heroin With Intent to Distribute; Possession of Heroin; Certain Person Not to Possess a Weapon; Possession of a Weapon During Controlled Dangerous Substance Activity; Unlawful Possession of a Weapon; Hindering Apprehension; and Hindering Apprehension by Concealing Another. Mr. Frazier is currently lodged in The Ocean County Jail pending a Detention Hearing.

Arrests Made In Paterson Homicide

THREE PASSAIC COUNTY TEENS ARRESTED AND CHARGED IN THE JANUARY SHOOTING DEATH OF AN EIGHTEEN YEAR OLD PATERSON MAN

PATERSON, NJ.- On Thursday, January 27, 2022 Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announced that based upon an investigation by The Paterson Police Department, in conjunction with The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office, Jaquin Williams,19, of Paterson, New Jersey; Kahaz D. Heron, 18, of Clifton, New Jersey; and Jahed Jones, 19, of Paterson, New Jersey were arrested on Thursday, January 27, 2022 in connection to the Homicide that took place on January 19, 2022 at 130 Godwin Avenue in Paterson, New Jersey. 



     All three are Charged with First Degree Murder; First Degree Conspiracy to Commit Murder; Second Degree Possession of a Handgun for an Unlawful Purpose; and Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Handgun.


     On Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to the area of 130 Godwin Avenue in Paterson, New Jersey on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered a Victim, later identified as Robert Cuadra, 18, of Paterson, New Jersey lying on the sidewalk in front of that address with an apparent Gunshot Wound. 


     Medical personnel arrived and immediately transported Mr. Cuadra to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased a short time later.


     An ensuing investigation determined that Mr. Williams, Mr. Heron, and Mr. Jones, took part in the Shooting and were responsible for the Murder of Mr. Cuadra. All three were Charged without incident on Thursday, January 27, 2022. The three men are currently detained at The Passaic County Jail. 


     If convicted, Mr. Williams, Mr. Heron, and Mr. Jones will face the potential Sentencing Exposure for the Crime of First Degree Murder has a Sentencing Range from of Thirty Years up to Life in New Jersey State Prison; for the Crime of First Degree Conspiracy to Commit Murder has a Sentencing Range of Ten to Twenty Years in Prison; for the Crimes of Second Degree Possession of a Handgun for an Unlawful Purpose, and Unlawful Possession of a Handgun, each have a Sentencing Range of Five to Ten Years in Prison.


     The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office has filed a motion in State Superior Court to have all three men Detained pending the resolution of the Charges against them.

Investigation Into Woman's Death

BURLINGTON COUNTY AUTHORITIES ARE CONTINUING TO INVESTIGATE THE CIRCUMSTANCES SURROUNDING THE BEATING DEATH OF A WOMAN

     " A 38-Year-Old Mount Laurel Was Found Bludgeoned To Death Yesterday Afternoon In Her Bed."

MOUNT LAUREL, NJ.- On Thursday, January 27, 2022 Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Mount Laurel Township Police Chief Stephen Riedener announced that the Death of a 38-Year-Old woman whose body was found in her home yesterday afternoon is being investigated as a Homicide.



     Melissa Malcolm, 38, was found deceased in her bed after Members of The Mount Laurel Police Department made entry into the residence to conduct a wellness check on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at approximately 12:30 p.m. because she did not show up for work.


     The preliminary investigation indicated she suffered Blunt Force Trauma to the head. An autopsy will be performed by Burlington County Medical Examiner Dr. Ian Hood to determine the Cause and Manner of Death.


     A person of interest has been taken into Custody on Charges stemming from the investigation into her Death. Andrew Kramer, 31, of Mantua, who was acquainted with Ms. Malcolm, utilized her debit card to withdraw money from cash machines at convenient stores yesterday at approximately 2:15 a.m. in Marlton, New Jersey and 4 a.m. in Brooklawn. He was driving her Silver 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee at the time.


     Mr. Kramer was next spotted in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where, at Gunpoint, he approached a man and told him he needed a ride. The victim told Mr. Kramer that he could stay in his garage. After Mr. Kramer entered the garage, the victim locked him in and called Police, who arrived and took him into custody.


     The Philadelphia Police Department is preparing to Charge Kramer with Weapons Offenses and making Terroristic Threats. The Burlington County Prosecutor's Office is preparing Charges against him for Credit Card and Motor Vehicle Theft. No Homicide Charges relating to Ms. Malcolm’s Death have been filed against Mr. Kramer.


     Police are asking for the Public’s Assistance with locating Ms. Malcolm’s 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which carries New Jersey License Plate Number M73 HKY. PATERSON, NJ.- On Thursday, January 27, 2022 Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announced that on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at approximately 11:08 p.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Rosa Parks Boulevard and Warren Street in Paterson, New Jersey on a report of shots fired. 



     Upon arrival, Police Officers located a potential crime scene, and a 34-Year-Old Paterson Woman who had sustained Multiple non-life threatening gunshot wounds. The victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey for treatment.


     Based on the initial investigation, the victim was on the second floor of a nearby dwelling when she was struck by projectiles that had entered the residence.

TENAFLY, NJ.- On Monday, January 24, 2022 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the Arrest of Matthew Panetta, 28, of Tenafly, New Jersey on Weapon Possession Charges. This arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love.


     During an investigation by Detectives from The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Investigations Squad on Friday, January 21, 2022, Mr. Panetta was identified as Unlawfully Possessing a Sawed-Off Shotgun. Later that same day, Detectives Arrested Mr. Panetta without incident at his place of employment. A subsequent Court Authorized Search Warrant was executed at Mr. Panetta's  residence in Tenafly.



     Mr. Panetta has been Charged with Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Third Degree Possession of a Prohibited Weapon.

LAWRENCE, NJ.- On Wednesday, January 26, 2022 Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J Onofri announced an investigation into Online Child Exploitation has resulted in the Arrest of a 45-Year-Old Lawrence Township man.



     Kelly Skeel, 45, of Lawrence, New Jersey, has been Charged with Second Degree Possession of Child Pornography. Mr. Skeel was processed on the Charges and remanded to The Mercer County Correctional Center, pending a First Appearance and Pre-Trial Detention Hearing.


     The investigation began when Detectives from The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office Internet Crimes Against Children Unit received information from The Center for Missing and Exploited Children, that an individual in Mercer County was Uploading Child Pornography. An ensuing investigation by Members of The Prosecutor's Office Internet Crimes Against Children Unit were able to identify Mr. Skeel as the individual that was Uploading the Child Pornography.


     On Tuesday, January 25, 2022, Members of The Internet Crimes Against Children executed a Court Authorized Search Warrant on Mr. Skeel's residence in Lawrence. Detectives seized electronic devices, further forensic examination revealed thousands of images of Child Sexual Abuse Material.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ.- On Wednesday, January 26, 2022 Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and New Brunswick Police Director Anthony A. Caputo announced that two men have been Arrested and Charged in connection with the Shooting of a Teenage Boy.



     On Thursday, January 20, 2022, at approximately 7:09 p.m., Members of The New Brunswick Police Department responded to the area of Throop Avenue and Redmond Street on a report of a Shooting. Upon arrival, Police Officers located a Juvenile male victim, suffering from multiple non-life threatening Gunshot Wounds.


     The Juvenile was immediately transported to a nearby hospital for treatment for his injuries.


     The ensuing investigation by Members of The Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office and New Brunswick Police Department were able to identify Corey Fuqua, 19, of North Brunswick, New Jersey and Gede Maccelus as the individuals responsible for the Shooting of the Juvenile.


     On Tuesday, January 26, 2022 Mr. Fuqua and Mr. Maccelus were each Charged with One Count of First Degree Attempted Murder; One Count of Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and One Count of Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.


     Fuqua and Maccelus are both in custody in The Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center pending a Pre-Trial Detention Hearing which will be heard by a Superior Court Judge.

MOUNT HOLLY, NJ.- On Wednesday, January 26, 2022 Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina announced that a 26-Year-Old Willingboro Township, New Jersey woman has been Sentenced to an aggregate of 15 Years in New Jersey State Prison for Sexually Assaulting a Child in her home early last year.



     Under an agreement with The Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office, Rachel Karngbaye Pled Guilty in September 2021 to Second Degree Sexual Assault; and Third Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child. 


     Ms. Karngbaye was Sentence to a term of Ten Years for the Second Degree Charge, pursuant to The No Early Release Act which will require Ms. Karngbaye to serve Eighty Five Percent of the term before becoming eligible for Parole. Ms Karngbaye also received a Sentence of Five Years on The Third Degree Charge. The Sentences will be served Consecutively.


     The Sentence was handed down by The Honorable Philip E. Haines on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 in Burlington County State Superior Court.


     Upon completion of Custodial Term, Ms. Karngbaye will also be subject to the provisions of Megan’s Law Registration Requirements and Parole Supervision for life upon release. She will serve her sentence in a prison instead of the state’s facility that treats sex offenders because an evaluation determined that she is not willing to undergo treatment.


     The investigation began in January 2021 after the victim’s mother contacted Members of The Willingboro Township Police Department to report the Assault. Additional details are being withheld to protect the identity and well-being of the victim.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ.- On Wednesday, January 26, 2022 Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and New Brunswick Police Director Anthony A Caputo announced that a North Brunswick, New Jersey man has been Arrested and Charged in connection with the Fatal Shooting of Nathaniel Edwards, Jr., 23, of East Brunswick, New Jersey.


     On Sunday, January 9, 2022, at approximately 10:18 a.m., Members of The New Brunswick Police Department responded to the area of Remsen Avenue and Seaman Street on a report of a Shooting. Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered Mr. Edwards suffering from a Gunshot Wounds. 


     Mr. Edwards was immediately transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injury and was pronounced deceased a short time later. 


     An ensuing investigation by New Brunswick Police Detective Brandt Gregus in conjunction with Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office Detective Ryan Tighe identified Malik Stringer, 23, of North Brunswick, New Jersey as the individual responsible for the Shooting Death of Mr. Edwards.


     On Monday, January 24, 2022 Mr. Stringer was Arrested without incident in Atlanta, Georgia by Members of The Federal Bureau of Investigations.


     Mr. Stringer has been Charged with One Count of First Degree Murder; One Count of First Degree Attempted Murder; One Count of Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.


     Mr. Stringer remains in Custody in Georgia pending an Extradition Hearing. Upon his return to New Jersey, Mr. Stringer will be Lodged in The Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center pending a Pre-Trial Detention Hearing in Middlesex County Superior Court.

PEMBERTON, NJ.- On Monday, January 24, 2022 Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Pemberton Township Police Chief Jason Watters announced that a 19-Year-Old Browns Mills, New Jersey man has been Charged with Possessing and Distributing Child Sexual Abuse Material.



     Dawson Simons, 19, was Charged with Two Counts of Second Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; and One Count of Third Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Mr. Simons was lodged in The Burlington County Jail in Mount Holly, New Jersey pending an appearance in State Superior Court. The case will be prepared for presentation to a Grand Jury for possible indictment.


     Mr. Simons was taken into custody Friday morning at his residence following the execution of a search warrant. Electronic devices seized during the search will be examined by detectives from The Burlington County Prosecutor's Office High-Tech Crimes Unit.


     The investigation began in September, 2021, after The Burlington County Prosecutor's Office High-Tech Crimes Unit received information regarding Simons’s online activities from The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The investigation revealed that Mr. Simons was using Social Media and an Online File Storage System to Collect and Distribute Child Sexual Abuse Material.


     The investigation was conducted by The Burlington County Prosecutor's Office High-Tech Crimes Unit, with assistance from United States Homeland Security Investigations, Cherry Hill Office, The Pemberton Township Police Department and The Evesham Township Police Department. The lead investigator was Burlington County Prosecutor's Office Detective Andrew Ridolfi.

Mount Holly Woman Sentenced To Prison

MOUNT HOLLY, NJ.- Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina announced that on Friday, January 21, 2022, a 54-Year-Old Mount Holly Drug Dealer has been Sentenced to Eleven Years in New Jersey State Prison for Narcotics Possession and for Causing the Death of a Lumberton resident who Fatally Overdosed on Fentanyl he bought from her.



     Under a November, 2021 agreement with The Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office, Linda Naulty Pled Guilty to First Degree Strict Liability for Drug-Induced Death; and Third Degree Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance with Intent to Distribute. The Plea Agreement called for Ms. Naulty to Serve a Eight Year term for the First Degree Crime, of which Ms. Naulty must serve Eighty Five Percent of the Eight Years before becoming eligible for parole, pursuant to The No Early Release Act. The Three Years Naulty received for Narcotics Possession with Intent to Distribute will run consecutively.


     The investigation began on February 8, 2021, after Members of The Lumberton Township Police Department and Emergency Medical Technicians responded to The 500 block of Main Street in Lumberton on a report of an unconscious adult male. Upon arrival, they discovered the body of Paul Cronrath IV, 29, who had fatally overdosed in his bedroom.


     Within a few hours, investigators identified Ms. Naulty as the source of the Drugs and Charged her with Possessing and Planning to sell illegal narcotics. When Ms. Naulty was taken into custody, she had Multiple Doses of Fentanyl and nearly $1,400 in Cash.


     The Charges were Upgraded after the results of Toxicology Tests confirmed that the drugs located in Mr. Cronrath's bedroom were identical to the ones found on Ms. Naulty’s person at the time of her Arrest.


     “I commend the Lumberton and Burlington County Prosecutor's Office, officers and detectives for the prompt and efficient investigation that led to the substantial sentence for the defendant in this case,” Prosecutor Coffina said. “Their efforts reflect our commitment to investigate all fatal overdoses in our County in order to pursue drug-induced-death prosecutions, when warranted, to counter the wanton dealing of fentanyl and the tragic consequences it has brought to so many individuals facing addiction, and their families.
