PATERSON, NJ.- On Thursday, January 27, 2022 Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announced that on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at approximately 11:08 p.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Rosa Parks Boulevard and Warren Street in Paterson, New Jersey on a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival, Police Officers located a potential crime scene, and a 34-Year-Old Paterson Woman who had sustained Multiple non-life threatening gunshot wounds. The victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey for treatment.
Based on the initial investigation, the victim was on the second floor of a nearby dwelling when she was struck by projectiles that had entered the residence.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information may become available once released by authorities.
