Bill Cosby To Be Released From Prison

PENNSYLVANIA'S HIGHEST COURT VACATES BILL COSBY'S 2018 CONVICTION

" After Spending Over Two Years In Pennsylvania State Prison Comedian Bill Cosby Will Be Released After Pennsylvania's Highest Court Vacates His 2018 Sexual Assault Conviction."

June 30, 2021 By Art Fletcher Reporting For: Englebrook Independent News,

COLLEGEVILLE, PA.-Today, Pennsylvania Supreme Court, in a 79-Page Ruling, The Court overturned and vacated Bill Cosby's 2018 Sexual Assault Conviction, Barring Prosecutor's from presenting the case for a third trial.

On Wednesday June 30, 2021, Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturned Bill Cosby's Sexual Assault Conviction, after finding an agreement with a previous prosecutor prevented him from being charged in the case.

The Court Ruling today resulted from an agreement Mr. Cosby struck with District Attorney Bruce Castor, in 2005, wherein Mr. Castor declined to prosecute Mr. Cosby in exchange for testimony during a Civil Trial.

The Justices Ruled that the agreement prevented prosecution for the claims brought by Andrea Constant, the former Director of Operations for Temple University's women's basketball team, and wrote that the Prosecutorial Discretion of Pennsylvania's District Attorneys was not " Free Of The Constraints Of Due Process."

Mr. Cosby " must be discharged, and any future prosecution on these particular charges must be barred," they wrote.  " We do not dispute that this remedy is both severe and rare. But it is warranted here, indeed compelled."

Today's news comes  after Bill Cosby was denied Parole after he declined to participate in a sexual violence program conducted in the prison, with his attorneys arguing at the time, that participation in such program would make their client appear guilty.

Today's Supreme Court Ruling, may pave the way for now imprisoned Harvey Weinstein's conviction to be overturned and remanded for retrial in the future.

The boy reportedly had been travelling on a truck carrying around 100 migrants, before the vehicle pulled over after some of the migrants became ill from the heat and improper air circulation inside of the truck.

Reuters described a photo of the child, saying he was seen in the image by himself with trash bags, packaged snacks, half-empty water bottles and discarded clothing on the ground around him. The toddler was also described as being shirtless when he was found, and was holding his face in his hands.

Most of the other 100 plus passengers from the truck fled when authorities approached them, according to the report. However, eight Central American adults remained to speak with authorities in which the described the conditions they had faced.

Travellers on the truck told the driver to stop, after people fainted due to dehydration and lack of air circulation.

None of the adults said they were a family member of the toddler, the statement said. The statement added that authorities were in contact with the Guatemalan Consulate, because the boy is believed to be from that Country.

W.H.O. Urges Fully Vaccinated People To Wear Masks

THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION URGES FULLY VACCINATED PEOPLE TO CONTINUE TO WEAR MASKS

" Friday's Announcement By The World Health Organization Leaves Many Confused."

June 29, 2021 By Art Fletcher & Leo Madison Reporting For: Englebrook Independent News,

GENEVA, SWITZERLAND- On Friday, June 25, 2021, The World Health Organization urged fully vaccinated people to continue to wear masks, social distance and continue to practice other Covid safety measures, as the highly contagious Delta Variant continues to spread across the world.

" People cannot feel safe just because they had two doses. They will still need to protect themselves," Doctor Mariangela Siamo, The World Health Organization's Director-General for Access to Medicines and Health Products, said during a news briefing from The Agency's Headquarters.

" Vaccines alone won't stop Community Transmission," stated Simao. " People need to continue to use masks consistently, be in ventilated spaces, hand hygiene, ..... the physical distance, avoid crowding. This still continues to be extremely important, even if you are vaccinated when you have a Community Transmission ongoing."

The Health Organization's comments come as some Countries, including The United States, have largely done away with masks and Pandemic-Related Restrictions, as Covid vaccines have helped drive down the numbers of new infections and deaths.

Just six weeks ago, The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced that fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear masks outdoors, or in most indoor settings, to protect themselves and others against Covid-19.

The news was received with some skepticism, after repeated back and forth with CDC Recommendations over the past fourteen months, from the onset of the Pandemic.

W.H.O. Officials said they are asking Fully Vaccinated People to continue to " Play It Safe" because a large portion of the world remains unvaccinated and highly contagious variants, such as the Delta Variant, are spreading in many countries, causing outbreaks.

The Wall Street Journal reported on Friday, that about half of adults infected in an outbreak of the Delta Variant in Israel were fully vaccinated with the Phizer-BioNTech vaccine, prompting the Government to reimpose an indoor mask requirement and other Covid measures.

" Yes, you can reduce some measures and different countries have different recommendations in that regard. But there is still the need for caution," Doctor Bruce Aylward, a Senior Advisor to The W.H.O.'s Director-General, said at a briefing. " As we are seeing, there are new variants emerging."

The World Health Organization stated last week that the Delta is becoming the Dominant Variant of the disease Worldwide.

W.H.O. Officials have said the Variant, first found in India but now in at least 92 other countries, is the Fastest and Fittest Coronavirus strain yet, and it will " Pick Off" the most vulnerable people, especially in places with low vaccination rates.

In The U.S., President Biden said Covid Deaths Nationwide will continue to rise due to the spread of the dangerous Delta Variant, calling it a " Serious Concern."

Further warning, Biden stated that Americans who are still unvaccinated are especially at risk. Biden's warning comes as his plan to have 70 Percent of all Americans fully vaccinated by July 4, 2021, falls far short of his goal. Today, the rate of fully vaccinated people stands at 46 Percent.

" Six Hundred Thousand-Plus Americans have died, and with this Delta Variant you know there's going to be others as well. You know it's going to happen. We've got to get young people vaccinated," Biden said on Thursday at a Community Center in Raleigh, North Carolina.

WASHINGTON, DC.- On Thursday, June 24, 2021, The Centers United States Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) extended the Nationwide Ban on Evictions, from June 30, 2021 to July 31, 2021, but even with the 30 Day extended time period, experts have voiced concern about the estimated 6 Million or so Americans, who owe back rent.

The Federal Restrictions on evictions for nonpayment of rent took effect soon after the Covid Pandemic took hold across the Nation in the early months of 2020. The first moratorium, came with The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, ran from the end of March 2020 to the end of July 2020.

The CDC put its own Eviction Moratorium in place in September 2020. The Moratorium was set to end on June 30, 2021, before CDC Director Rochelle Walensky announced last week that the Agency would extend the June 30th Deadline to July 31st.

A Federal Appellate Court ruled on May 5, 2021, before the latest CDC Extension, that the CDC Overstepped its authority with their extension. The Biden Administration appealed the ruling the same day, which proved to be successful. However, that legal action shows the difficulty the CDC will face should it try to enact another extension.

Along with the need to stem the possibility of a sudden surge of potential homelessness throughout the Nation, there is also evidence showing that housing evictions increase the threat of Covid Infections spreading.

Landlords across the country have argued against continuing the moratorium, on June 3, 2021, in Alabama, The Associations of Realtors sent an emergency application to The U.S. Supreme Court's Chief Justice Roberts.

A statement in The Application read, " Landlords have been losing over $13 Billion every month under the Moratorium, and the total effects of The CDC's Overreach, may be as high as $200 Billion if it remains in place for a year."

Numerous States across the Nation have taken steps on their own to prevent evictions. California announced it would extend the statewide eviction moratorium through September, 2021. In April, New York State extended its moratorium through the end of August 2021. But different interpretations regarding eviction moratoriums have occurred from county to county in some States.

One reason evictions have been carried out in many states during the Covid-19 Pandemic, despite the CDC Moratorium is that tenants neglected to fill out the paperwork necessary to prevent eviction proceedings for nonpayment of rent.

As President Biden plans to visit Wisconsin today in order to sell his Infrastructure package, The President needs to be more focused on the plight that over 6 Million Americans may face at the end of July, 2021, "Homelessness."
