ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND- Police on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 identified Michelle Jordan Cummings, 57, of Houston, Texas as the woman as the woman who was shot and killed outside a hotel after dropping off her son at The U.S. Naval Academy.
The woman and her husband were reportedly staying at an Annapolis Hotel after dropping off their son at The Academy
The shooting happened at approximately 12:21 a.m., on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. According to Police, a preliminary investigation revealed Cummings, who was not the intended target of the gunfire, was stuck by gunfire while sitting in a patio area outside of the hotel.
