Clifton New Jersey Man Charged

42 YEAR OLD CLIFTON MAN CHARGED WITH THE SEXUAL ASSAULT OF TWO GIRLS UNDER THE AGE OF THIRTEEN

PATERSON, NJ.- On Thursday, April 28, 2022 Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes announced the Arrest of Pedro Perez-Guadalupe, 42, of Clifton, New Jersey. Mr. Perez-Guadalupe was Arrested on Thursday, April 27, 2022, after the conclusion of an investigation conducted by The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit.



     Mr. Perez-Guadalupe has been Charged with Two Counts of First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault; One Count of Second Degree Sexual Assault; One Count of Second Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; One Count of First Degree Kidnapping; and One Count of Second Degree Hindering Apprehension regarding the assault of one child under the age of Thirteen. Mr. Perez-Guadalupe is also Charged with One Count of Second Degree Sexual Assault; and One Count of Second Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child for engaging in sexual acts with a second child under the age of Thirteen.


     On April 6, 2022, The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit was contacted by School Staff Members to report that a child disclosed being Sexually Assaulted in the past by the Mr. Perez-Guadalupe. Prosecutor’s Office Detectives were able to interview multiple witnesses including an alleged victim who disclosed being Sexually Assaulted by Mr. Perez-Guadalupe on multiple occasions at a residence in Passaic, New Jersey.  During the investigation it was also discovered that a second child disclosed being Sexually Assaulted by Mr. Perez-Guadalupe on multiple occasions at a residence in Passaic, New Jersey.  As a result of the investigation, Mr. Perez-Guadalupe was Charged accordingly.


     Mr. Perez-Guadalupe is presently detained at The Passaic County Jail. The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office has filed a motion for Pretrial Detention which will be heard before a Superior Court Judge early next week.

Boyfriend Charged With Murder

FORMER BOYFRIEND CHARGED IN CONNECTION WITH THE SHOOTING DEATH OF HIS EX GIRLFRIEND

PALMYRA, NJ.- On Monday, April 25, 2022 Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Palmyra Police Chief Meghan Campbell announced that a former boyfriend has been Charged with Killing a 28-Year-Old woman who was found Fatally Shot last week in the parking lot of a Self-Service Car Wash in the First Block of Filmore Street in Palmyra, New Jersey.



     Antonio Burke, 32, of the 2000 Block of Harbor Drive in Palmyra, New Jersey has been Charged with First Degree Murder; Second Degree Possession of a Handgun for an Unlawful Purpose; Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon; and Third Degree Endangering an Injured Victim.


     Mr. Burke was taken into custody early Monday morning following a traffic stop in Dallas, Texas, where he will face a court appearance today. The criminal complaint against him was signed last week.


     The investigation began on April 18, 2022, at approximately 10:45 p.m., after Members of The Palmyra Police Department responded to The Hot Wet & Wax Car Wash at approximately 10:45 p.m., for a report of an Unconscious Female who was Bleeding.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered the body of Alicia Stilley of Cinnaminson, New Jersey on the ground near her vehicle. An autopsy performed by Burlington County Medical Examiner Dr. Ian Hood concluded that Ms. Stilley succumbed to injuries from a Gunshot Wound to the Chest.


     Detectives continue investigate the motive for the shooting.

PATERSON, NJ.- On Friday, April 22, 2022 Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announced on April 22, 2022, at approximately 3:12 a.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to the area of 16th Avenue and Carroll Street in Paterson, New Jersey after a report of shots fired. 


     Upon arrival, Police Officers located a potential crime scene but did not find a victim. A short time later, Members of The Paterson Police Department located a 29-Year-Old Paterson man who had sustained a Non-Life Threatening Gunshot Wound. The man was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey for treatment.


     The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information may become available once released once by authorities.

Paterson Man Charged

PATERSON, NJ.- On Thursday, April 14, 2022 Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announced that based upon an investigation by The Paterson Police Department, in conjunction with The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office, The United States Secret Service, The United States Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force, and The Federal Bureau of Investigation, Kristian Gonzalez, 25, of Lyndhurst, New Jersey, was Arrested on April 14, 2022, in connection to the Homicide that took place on December 2, 2021 at 661 East 24th Street in Paterson, New Jersey. 



     Mr. Gonzalez has been Charged with First Degree Murder; Second Degree Possession of a Handgun for an Unlawful Purpose; Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Handgun; Third Degree Receiving Stolen Property; and Fourth Degree Tampering with Evidence.


     On December 2, 2021, at approximately 8:18 p.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to the area of 661 East 24th Street, in Paterson, New Jersey on a report of a Shooting. 


     Upon arrival, Police Officers found Jasmin Wel, 25, of Paterson, New Jersey, suffering from Gunshot Wounds. Ms. Wel was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey, where she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased a short time later. Detectives located a suspected crime scene outside of 661 East 24th Street, Paterson, New Jersey.


     The ensuing investigation determined that Mr. Gonzalez, was one of the individuals responsible for the Murder of Ms. Wel. Mr. Gonzalez was arrested, without incident, on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at approximately 9:00 a.m. by Members of The Paterson Police Department, in conjunction with Members of The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office, The United States Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force and the FBI, at a residence on East 30th Street in the City of Paterson.


     If Convicted on the Charges, Mr. Gonzales will face the potential of Life in New Jersey State Prison.


     The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office will File a Motion in Passaic County Superior Court to have Mr. Gonzalez Detained pending the adjudication of the Charges against him.

TOMS RIVER, NJ.- On Monday, April 18, 2022, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer announced that on Thursday, April 14, 2020, David Steen, 54, of Marlton, New Jersey Pled Guilty to Robbery, and Aggravated Assault in connection with an incident that occurred in Berkeley Township, New Jersey on September 23, 2019. 



     At the time of Mr. Steen's Sentencing on June 3, 2022, The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office will be seeking a Sentence of Ten Years New Jersey State Prison on The Robbery Charge, subject to The No Early Release Act. The Prosecutor's Office will also be seeking a Sentence of Five Years in prison on the Aggravated Assault Charge. The sentences are to run concurrently.


     On September 23, 2019, Members of The Berkeley Township Police Department responded to an Urgent Care facility in Lacey Township, New Jersey for a report of a Robbery and Assault that occurred earlier in the day at Robert J. Miller Airpark in Berkeley Township. 


     An ensuing investigation by The Berkeley Township Police Department Detective Bureau revealed that an 87 Year-Old woman was hitting golf balls at the Airpark when she was approached by a man. The man subsequently pushed the victim to the ground and hit her in the head with a golf club, he then ripped a gold chain and a gold crucifix from her neck and fled the area. 


     The woman was able to return to her car and drive home. Later, a friend of the woman drove her to the Urgent Care facility for treatment of her injuries. The woman provided Detectives with a detailed description of her assailant and his vehicle, and was also able to assist in the preparation of a composite sketch of her attacker with the help of a New Jersey State Police sketch artist. 


     Through further investigation, Detectives were able to identify Mr. Steen as the individual responsible for the Robbery and Assault of the 87 year-old victim. On October 3, 2019, a Warrant was issued for Mr. Steen’s Arrest.


     On October 7, 2019, Mr. Steen was Arrested in Burlington County by The New Jersey State Police during an unrelated motor vehicle stop. Mr. Steen was transported to The Ocean County Jail, where he has been lodged since his apprehension on October 7, 2019.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ.- On Tuesday, April 19, 2022, Somerset County Authorities are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a naked suspect who broke into the home of a Hillsborough Township woman and attacked her while she was showering.


     On Thursday, April 14, 2022, at approximately 10:00 p.m., Members of The Hillsborough Township Police Department responded to a residence near the area of Andria Avenue on a report of a intruder entering a home.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers encountered a woman who reported being groped by a naked intruder while in her shower. The woman was able to fight the intruder off, the suspect then fled through a screen door. 


     The Suspect is described as between the age of Eighteen and Twenty Four with Dark Hair and a Thin Build, according to The Somerset County Prosecutor's Office. 


     The investigation remains active and ongoing. Police are requesting the public's assistance to the identity of the suspect. PALMYRA, NJ.- On Tuesday, April 19, 2022 Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Palmyra Police Chief Meghan Campbell announced that a 28-Year-Old woman was Found Fatally Shot Monday night in the parking lot of a self-service car wash in the First Block of Filmore Street in Palmyra, New Jersey.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ.- On Monday, April 18, 2022 Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and New Brunswick Police Department Director Anthony Caputo announced that a man was Fatally Stabbed after confronting a man over a Stolen Cell Phone.


     On Monday, April 18, 2022, at approximately 3:35 a.m., Members of The New Brunswick Police Department responded to the area of Delavan Street and Jersey Avenue on a report of a Stabbing.



     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a male victim, later identified as Rogelio Lopez-Lopez, 55, of New Brunswick, New Jersey having sustained Multiple Stab Wounds. Mr. Lopez-Lopez was immediately transported to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was subsequently pronounced deceased.


     An ensuing investigation by Members of The Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office and New Brunswick Police Department determined that Mr. Lopez-Lopez was Fatally Stabbed by Adan Santiago-Feria during a Fight over a Stolen Cell Phone. Mr. Santiago-Feria fled the scene and remains at large.


     Mr. Santiago-Feria has been Charged with First Degree Murder; Third Degree Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose; Fourth Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, and Third Degree Terroristic Threats.

Correction Officer Charged

JERSEY CITY, NJ.- On Thursday, April 14, 2022 Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, a Hudson County Correctional Police Officer was Arrested on Charges relating to Falsifying Medical Records he submitted to his employer.


     Marko Nakhla, 34, of Bayonne, New Jersey has been Charged with One Count of Fourth Degree Forgery. Mr. Nakhla was Arrested without incident at The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in Jersey City, New Jersey and released on a summons. Mr. Nakhla is scheduled to make his First Court appearance on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 in Central Judicial Processing Court in Jersey City.



     An investigation determined that Mr. Nakhla submitted Falsified Medical Records to his employer to receive additional Paid Medical Leave. Prosecutor Suarez credited The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Public Integrity Unit with the Arrest and Investigation.

Secaucus Man Injured

SECAUCUS MAN SERIOUSLY INJURED IN SATURDAY AFTERNOON FIRE

SECAUCUS, NJ.- On Saturday, April 9, 2022 Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced The Hudson County Regional Arson Task Force, The Secaucus Fire Department, and The Secaucus Police Department are investigating a Fire that has left a 56-Year-Old man with Serious Injuries.


     On Friday, April 8, 2022, at approximately 2:34 p.m., Members of The Secaucus Police Department and The Secaucus Fire Department received multiple smoke detector notifications from a fourth floor residence at 777 Fifth Street. Upon arrival, The Secaucus Fire Department found heavy smoke in apartment 406 and a 56-Year-Old man inside the unit with Life Threatening Tnjuries. 


     The man was transported to Hudson Regional Hospital and then transferred to The West Chester Medical Center Burn Unit where he remains in critical condition.


     The Fire was contained to the single unit and the Cause and Origin remain under investigation by The Hudson County Regional Arson Task Force, The Secaucus Fire Department, and The Secaucus Police Department.

WARETOWN NEW JERSEY MAN CHARGED WITH NARCOTICS AND WEAPONS OFFENSES

WARETOWN, NJ.- On Monday, April 11, 2022 Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer announced after a multi-agency investigation, Authorities identified a residence in Waretown, New Jersey as being utilized by Jeffrey Miliukas, 58, Waretown, to Store and Distribute various Pain Medications and Pills containing Fentanyl in Ocean County.


     On Thursday, April 7, 2022, Detectives from The Ocean County Narcotics Strike Force, Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Regional SWAT Team, United States Department of Homeland Security and Preparedness - Homeland Security Investigations, New Jersey State Police - Trafficking Central Unit, Barnegat Township Police Department Crime Reduction Unit, Barnegat Township Police Department K-9 Unit, and Ocean Township (Waretown) Detective Bureau, Executed a Court Authorized Search Warrant on the Waretown residence. Detectives seized approximately 17 Fentanyl Pills, 75 Oxycodone Pills, approximately One Pound of Marijuana, Four Rifles, Three Shotguns, a .22 Caliber Handgun, as well as additional evidence of Narcotics Distribution Purposes.



     Mr. Miliukas was Charged with Possession of Oxycodone with Intent to Distribute; Possession of Fentanyl with Intent to Distribute; Possession of More than One Ounce of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute; Possession of Fentanyl; Possession of Weapons while Committing a Controlled Dangerous Substance Offense; and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Mr. Miliukas was Charged on a summons and released pending a future court appearance.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ.- Essex County Authorities continue to investigate the circumstance surrounding a Fatal Triple Shooting in Bloomfield, New Jersey.


     On Sunday Afternoon, April 10, 2022, Members of The Bloomfield Police Department responded to a Convenience Store located on First Avenue in the area of North 15th Street on a report of a Shooting.



     Upon arrival, Police Officers found three victims, having sustained multiple Gunshot Wounds. One of the victims had succumbed to his injuries and was subsequently pronounced deceased. Two other victims were immediately transported to a nearby Hospital for treatment.


     At this time no Arrests have been made and the investigation remains active and ongoing. Authorities believe this was a targeted attack and there is no danger to the public.

PATERSON, NJ.- On Friday, April 8, 2022 Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes announced that Alfredo Hernandez-Sanchez, 35, of Clifton, New Jersey, was found Guilty after a Jury Trial in Passaic County Superior Court of One Count of First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault; Six Counts of Second Degree Sexual Assault; One Count of Third Degree Aggravated Criminal Sexual Contact; One Count of Second Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; and One Count of Third Degree Witness Tampering.



     On June 7, 2018, The Clifton Police Department forwarded an investigation to The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding a Fifteen-Year-Old Child who reported being Sexually Abused by Mr. Hernandez-Sanchez for a number of years. Prosecutor’s Office Detectives interviewed multiple witnesses, including the child victim. 


     The child reported being Sexually Abused by Mr. Hernandez-Sanchez on multiple occasions between January 2014 and March 2018 at her residence in Clifton, New Jersey. After Prosecutor’s Office Detectives arrested Mr. Hernandez-Sanchez for Sexually Abusing the child victim, Hernandez-Sanchez wrote a letter to the child victim from The Passaic County Jail apologizing to her and asking her to help him by changing the sworn statement she initially provided to Prosecutor’s Office Detectives.


     On April 7, 2022, a Passaic County Jury Convicted Mr. Hernandez-Sanchez on Multiple Counts of Passaic County Indictment Number 20-02-00091-I. Sentencing is scheduled for July 15, 2022, at 9:00 AM, in Superior Court.


     The sentencing exposure on First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault where the victim is under the Age of Thirteen, is Twenty Five Years to Life in New Jersey State Prison, subject to a Twenty Five Year Parole Disqualifier, pursuant to the Jessica Lunsford Act; on Second Degree Sexual Assault, is Five to Ten Years in New Jersey State Prison with 85% of the term to be served before parole eligibility pursuant to the No Early Release Act; on Third Degree Aggravated Criminal Sexual Contact, it is Three to Five Years in New Jersey State Prison; on Second Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child, it is Five to Ten Years in New Jersey State Prison; and on Third Degree Tampering with a Witness, it is Three to Five Years in New Jersey State Prison.


     If Granted Parole, Mr. Hernandez-Sanchez will be subject to the Special Sentence of Parole Supervision for Life and Megan’s Law Registration Requirements. Mr. Hernandez-Sanchez is presently detained at the Passaic County Jail.

CHATHAM TOWNSHIP, NJ.- On Thursday, April 7, 2022, Morris County Authorities have Charged Yulia Raynova, 45, of Madison Borough with Second Degree Vehicular Homicide in connection with a Fatal Car Collision that occurred on Monday, March 28, 2022 in Chatham Township, New Jersey.



     On Monday, March 28, 2022, at approximately 11:30 a.m., The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office was called to the scene of a Motor Vehicle Collision involving Three Vehicles on Shunpike Road at the intersection of Lafayette Avenue in Chatham Township. 


     The investigation determined that a Nissan Rogue had been traveling west on the roadway into the intersection, and struck a Jeep Wrangler traveling south. The Wrangler impacted a box truck parked on the opposite side of the intersection.


     The driver of the Jeep Wrangler, Michael Pacchia Jr., 52, Chatham Township, New Jersey succumbed to his injuries and was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene.


     The Driver of the Rogue, later identified as Ms. Raynova. At conclusion of the investigation, on Thursday, April 7, 2022, Ms. Raynova was Charged with One Count of Second Degree Vehicular Homicide. Ms. Raynova was also Charged with a number of Motor Vehicle Offenses.

Trenton Homicide Investigation

MERCER COUNTY AUTHORITIES CONTINUE TO INVESTIGATE WEDNESDAY'S FATAL SHOOTING

TRENTON, NJ.- On Thursday, April 7, 2022, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri announced The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and The Trenton Police Department are investigating a Double Shooting that occurred late Wednesday Night in Trenton, New Jersey.


     Just before midnight on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, Members of The Trenton Police Department responded to a Shot Spotter activation for multiple rounds at the Fast Trac Gas Station on Mulberry Street In Trenton.



     Upon arrival, Police Officers Discovered a Male victim, later identified as Jaquir Queen, 26, of Willingboro, New Jersey on the side of the gas station suffering from Multiple Gunshot Wounds. 


     Mr. Queen was immediately transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries, and was subsequently pronounced deceased a short time later. 


     Police Officers also learned of a second victim, a 23-Year-Old Hamilton, New Jersey man who had arrived at the hospital by way of private vehicle with a Gunshot Wound to his leg.

PATERSON, NJ.- On Wednesday, April 6, 2022 Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announced that on Monday, April 4, 2022, at approximately 11:40 p.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to a Camden Street residence in Paterson, New Jersey on a report of Shots Fired. 



     Upon arrival, Police Officers located a potential crime scene and a 20-Year-Old Paterson woman having sustained Non-Life Threatening Gunshot Wounds. The woman was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey for treatment. 


     Based on the preliminary investigation, the victim was in a residence located on Camden Street in Paterson when she was struck by Gunfire. The victim will remain unidentified pursuant to the Prevention of Domestic Violence Act.

JERSEY, CITY, NJ.- On Wednesday, April 6, 2022 Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit and The Jersey City Police Department are investigating the Shooting Death of a 49-Year-Old man on Kennedy Boulevard in Jersey City.



     On Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at approximately 8:30 p.m., Members of The Jersey City Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call on a report of Shots Fired in the area 1922 Kennedy Boulevard. 


     Upon arrival, Police Officers located a male victim, later identified as Juan Rodriguez, 49, of Jersey City, New Jersey, having sustained multiple Gunshot Wounds to his Chest. Mr. Rodriguez was immediately transported by Emergency Medical Services to Jersey City Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased at approximately 8:55 p.m. 


     The Cause and Manner of Death are pending the findings of the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office.


     The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit and The Jersey City Police Department are actively investigating Rhe Shooting. No arrests have been made at this time. SAYREVILLE, NJ.- On Wednesday, April 6, 2022 Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Sayreville Police Chief John Zebrowski announced That on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, a Sayreville Borough man was Arrested and Charged for his involvement in a Child Pornography Investigation.


     William Gober, 53, of Sayreville, New Jersey was Arrested on Tuesday, and Charged with Multiple Counts of Second Degree Possession and Distribution of Child Pornography.


     Mr. Gober was Charged following an Investigation by Detectives Daniel Lojek and Detective Lauren Tredo of The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Unit.

HACKENSACK, NJ.- On Friday, April 3, 2022 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the Arrest of Hector Morrobel, 45, of Hackensack, New Jersey on Money Laundering and Identity Theft Charges. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love.


     On March 31, 2022, after a month-long investigation, Members of The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Executed a Court Authorized Search Warrant at the residence of Mr. Morrobel. The Search revealed that Mr. Morrobel was in possession of over $26,000 in Cash along with Multiple Fraudulent Government Documents with the personal identifying information of another person.


     The investigation also uncovered that Mr. Morrobel is a Fugitive from Justice with an active warrant related to Charges in Massachusetts.


     On Thursday, March 31, 2022, Mr. Morrobel was Formally Charged with Third Degree Money Laundering; Fourth Degree Impersonation; and Fourth Degree Possession of a Fraudulent Driver’s License. After being Processed on the Charges, Mr. Morrobel was remanded to The Bergen County Jail pending his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, New Jersey.

A short time later, The Passaic Police Department were notified that a 30-Year-Old Garfield, New Jersey man had arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, for treatment of a non-life threatening Gunshot Wound.
