Palisades Park New Jersey Couple Arrested

 PALISADES PARK NEW JERSEY HUSBAND AND WIFE ARRESTED ON NARCOTICS DISTRIBUTION AND WEAPONS OFFENSES 

     " Bergen County Authorities Arrest David Baez & Massiel Inoa & Seize 80 Pounds Of Marijuana, $303,610. In U.S. Currency & A .357 Magnum Handgun."

PALISADES PARK, NJ.- On Tuesday, August 31, 2021 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrests of David Baez, 36, and Massiel Inoa, 27, of Palisades Park, New Jersey on drug related offenses. The arrests are the result of a joint investigation conducted by The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and The Hackensack Police Department under the direction of Officer-in-Charge Captain Darrin DeWitt.


     Pursuant to a joint narcotics investigation conducted by The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force and The Hackensack Police Department, David Baez was identified as a Distributor of Narcotics and was evading authorities for an outstanding Robbery Warrant out of New York City. On Friday, August 27, 2021, a search warrant was executed at David Baez's residence in Palisades Park, New Jersey.


      Immediately prior to the execution of the search warrant, David Baez left the residence in his vehicle and was stopped nearby. A .357 Magnum handgun and U.S. currency was recovered during a search of his vehicle. David Baez was placed under arrest without incident.


     Also at that time, Members of The Bergen County Regional SWAT Team executed the search warrant at BAEZ’s residence. Mr. Baez's wife Massiel Inoa and their juvenile children were in the home. 


     A search of the residence revealed approximately 80 Pounds of Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia associated with the Distribution of Marijuana and a large amount of U.S. currency and money orders. Ms. Inoa was placed under arrest without incident. 


      The U.S. currency and money orders seized during this investigation totaled $303,610.00, and the Estimated Street value of the 80 Pounds marijuana seized is $160,000.00.



     Mr. Baez was Charged with One Count of First Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute Marijuana; One Count of First Degree Maintaining a Drug Production Facility; One Count of Second Degree Money Laundering; One Count of Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Handgun; and One Count of Second Degree Being a Certain Person Having Been Convicted of the Crime of Robbery and Possession with Intent to Distribute Controlled Dangerous Substances, not to Possess a Firearm.



     Ms. Inoa was Charged with One Count of First Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute Marijuana; One Count of First Degree Maintaining a Drug Production Facility; and One Count of Second Degree Money Laundering. 


     Mr. Baez and Ms. Inoa were processed and were remanded to The Bergen County Jail pending their first appearances in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, New Jersey.

Jersey City Man Sentenced To State Prison

JERSEY CITY NEW JERSEY MAN SENTENCED TO SIXTEEN YEARS IN THE FATAL SHOOTING DEATH OF BRANDON MAGWOOD IN 2019

JERSEY CITY, NJ.- On Tuesday, August 31, 2021 Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced on Monday, August 30, 2021, The Honorable Judge Vincent Militello, J.S.C. sentenced Victor Lopez, 54, of Jersey City, New Jersey to 16 years in New Jersey State Prison on the Charge of First Degree Aggravated Manslaughter in connection  to the fatal shooting of Brandon Magwood, of Jersey City, New Jersey that occurred on February 24, 2019.


     The Aggravated Manslaughter Charge is subject to The No Early Release Act which requires that Lopez will have to serve 85% of his custodial term before he is eligible for parole.


     On Sunday, February 24, 2019, at approximately 7:25 a.m., Members of The Jersey City Police Department received a report of an unresponsive male at 410 Monmouth Street in Jersey City, New Jersey. Upon arrival, Jersey City Police Officers found an unresponsive male, later identified as Magwood, age 35, of Jersey City.


     Mr. Magwood was pronounced deceased at approximately 7:40 a.m. The Regional Medical Examiner’s Office determined the cause of death to be a gunshot wound and the manner of death to be Homicide. Lopez was arrested on Thursday, February 28, 2019, in Boston, Massachusetts after fleeing the jurisdiction.


     On Tuesday, June 15, 2021, Lopez Pled Guilty to One Count of First Degree Aggravated Manslaughter in The Shooting Death of Brandon Magwood.

TRENTON, NJ.- On Tuesday, August 30, 2021, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri announced The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating the Monday night Fatal Shooting in Trenton, New Jersey.



     On Monday, August 30, 2021, at approximately 9:00 p.m., Members of The Trenton Police Department responded to the 400 block of West Hanover Street in The City of Trenton on a ShotSpotter activation. 


     Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered Fred Davis, 43, suffering a gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he succumbed to his injury and was subsequently pronounced dead a short time later.


     The investigation so far determined that Mr. Davis was arriving home from work at the time of the shooting. He parked his vehicle in front of his residence and was approached by two black males who attempted to rob him.

FREEHOLD, NJ.- On Monday, August 30, 2021 Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey announced that a Grand Jury sitting in Monmouth County, New Jersey has returned an Indictment against a Manasquan Physical Therapist for the illegal Sexual Contact with two former employees.



     On Monday, August 30, 2021 The Monmouth County Grand Jury returned an Indictment Charging Lukas I. Delorenzo, 36, of Neptune Township, New Jersey with Three Counts of Fourth Degree Criminal Sexual Contact for the inappropriate touching of two victims over a time period beginning September 2019. 


     The Investigation was conducted by The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Bureau in conjunction with The Manasquan Police Department and The Brielle Police Department.


     The Charges are the result of Mr. DeLorenzo, under the guise of teaching treatment methods, would inappropriately touch and grope the two employees, both in his office in Manasquan and Brielle, New Jersey.

Paterson New Jersey Man Indicted

PATERSON, NEW JERSEY MAN INDICTED ON MULTIPLE COUNTS OF SEXUAL OFFENSES AGAINST A CHILD

PATERSON, NJ.- On Tuesday, August 31, 2021 Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes announced that a Grand Jury sitting in Passaic County, New Jersey has returned an indictment against Gilberto Lopez-Rodriguez, 43, of Paterson, New Jersey on multiple counts of sexual offenses against a child.



     The Passaic County Grand Jury returned the Indictment, Charging Gilberto Lopez-Rodriguez with various Sexual Offenses against a child that took place at multiple residences in Paterson, New Jersey from February 2014 to February 2015, and then again in January 2020. 


     Mr. Lopez-Rodriguez was Indicted on Four Counts of First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault;  Five Counts of First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault;  Four Counts of Second Degree Sexual Assault;  Five Counts of Second Degree Sexual Assault;  Five Counts of Second Degree Sexual Assault;  Two Counts of Second Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child;  Seven Counts of Third Degree Aggravated Criminal Sexual Contact;  and Two Counts of Fourth Degree Criminal Sexual Contact.


     The sentencing exposure on First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault where the victim is under the age of thirteen is Twenty Five Years to Life in New Jersey State Prison, subject to a Twenty Five Year parole disqualifier pursuant to the Jessica Lunsford Act; on First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault, it is Ten to Twenty Years in New Jersey State Prison, with 85% term of service before parole eligibility pursuant to The No Early Release Act. 


     On Second Degree Sexual Assault it is Five to Ten Years in New Jersey State Prison with 85% term of service before parole eligibility pursuant to The No Early Release Act; on Second Degree Sexual Assault, it is Five to Ten Years in New Jersey State Prison with 85% term of service before parole eligibility pursuant to The No Early Release Act; on Second Degree Sexual Assault, it is Five to Ten Years in New Jersey State Prison; on Second Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child, it is Five to Ten Years in New Jersey State Prison.


      On Third Degree Aggravated Criminal Sexual Contact, it is Three to Five Years in New Jersey State Prison; and on Fourth Degree Criminal Sexual Contact, it is up to Eighteen Months in New Jersey State Prison. If convicted, Mr. Lopez-Rodriguez is subject to Parole Supervision for Life and Megan’s Law Registration Requirements. Mr. Lopez-Rodriguez is presently detained at the Passaic County Jail pending the disposition of the charges.


     An arraignment on the Indictment has been scheduled for September 13, 2021 in State Superior Court.

Plainfield New Jersey Narcotics Investigation

LONG TERM INVESTIGATION LED BY THE UNION COUNTY PROSECUTOR'S OFFICES RESULTS IN CHARGES AGAINST NINETEEN INDIVIDUALS

PLAINFIELD, NJ.- On Monday, August 30, 2021 Union County Prosecutor William A. Daniel announced that a long-term investigation led by the Union County Prosecutor’s Office’s Major Crimes Division has yielded 19 complaints and the seizure of significant quantities of narcotics, and weapons. 



During the early morning hours on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, Search warrants were simultaneously executed at six locations within the Joanne Hollis Gardens community and other locations in Plainfield. Twelve of the nineteen individuals charged in this investigation have been arrested.



A total of over 100 grams of crack/cocaine, 800 glassine envelopes of heroin, 9 grams of raw heroin, 1.5 grams of fentanyl, and 1 firearm with a large capacity magazine were seized during the operation.


The arrests come as the result of a several months-long investigation led by Detectives in the Major Crimes Division’s Intelligence-Driven Prosecution Unit.


" I am grateful to the members of the Prosecutor’s Office for their tireless dedication throughout this investigation,” said Prosecutor Daniel. “Together with the partnership of local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, our efforts to reduce violence and positively impact the communities we serve continue.”


This multi-agency investigation included collaboration and support from The ATF Newark Field Division under the supervision of Special Agent in Charge Jeffrey L. Matthews, The Plainfield Police Department under Officer-In-Charge Captain David Guarino, and with assistance from The Drug Enforcement Agency Newark Field Division High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas Group 1, Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office, Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office, the Union County Sheriff’s Office, and The police departments of Summit, Westfield, Cranford, Union County, and Berkeley Heights. The Union County Emergency Response Team SWAT Unit assisted with search warrant execution.


The Defendants arrested as a result of this investigation include:

Saad S. Spivey, 38, of Plainfield, is charged with first-degree leader of a narcotics trafficking network, four related second-degree narcotics offenses including conspiracy to distribute controlled dangerous substances, and six related third-degree narcotics offenses.


Kiyan C .Cagle, 21, of North Plainfield is charged with three second-degree offenses including conspiracy to distribute controlled dangerous substances, and four related third-degree narcotics offenses.


Norshawn Dorsey, 41, of Plainfield, is charged with three second-degree offenses including conspiracy to distribute controlled dangerous substances, second-degree possession with intent to distribute controlled dangerous substances within 500 feet of certain public property, and six related third-degree narcotics offenses.


Qiana C. Harriatt, 30, of Plainfield, is charged with second-degree conspiracy to distribute controlled dangerous substances.


Tyejuan L. Taylor, 44, of Plainfield, is charged with three second-degree offenses including conspiracy to distribute controlled dangerous substances, and one related third-degree narcotics offense.


Jaquan S. Edwards, 22, of North Plainfield, is charged with second-degree possession with intent to distribute controlled dangerous substances within 500 feet of certain public property, and four related third-degree narcotics offenses.


Rayjourn Johnson, 31, of Plainfield, is charged with second-degree possession with intent to distribute controlled dangerous substances within 500 feet of certain public property, and four related third-degree narcotics offenses.


Jose Otero, 34, of Plainfield, is charged with two charges of second-degree possession with intent to distribute controlled dangerous substances within 500 feet of certain public property, and five related third-degree narcotics offenses.


Darren Scruggs, 27, of Plainfield, is charged with two charges of second-degree possession with intent to distribute controlled dangerous substances within 500 feet of certain public property, and seven related third-degree narcotics offenses.


Kyle S. Valentin, 25, of Plainfield, is charged with second-degree unlawful possession of a handgun, two third-degree offenses including receiving stolen property, fourth-degree possession of a large capacity magazine, and two disorderly persons offenses.

Fugitive Wanted In Ocean County Surrenders

FUGITIVE CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER SURRENDERS HIMSELF TO OCEAN COUNTY AUTHORITIES

BRICK TOWNSHIP, NJ.- On Monday, August 30, 2021 Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer and Brick Township Chief of Police James Riccio announced that on Sunday, August 29, 2021, Michael Stallworth, 37, of Seaside Heights, a Fugitive From Justice in connection to an incident which occurred in Brick Township on Monday, July 26, 2021, surrendered himself to the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Division. Stallworth was processed and transported to The Ocean County Jail in Toms River, New Jersey where he will remain lodged pending a detention hearing.



     On Monday, July 26, 2021, at approximately 4:00 p.m., Members of The Brick Township Police Department responded to the parking lot of the ShopRite on Route 70 in Brick, New Jersey on a report of a male victim having been stabbed in the parking lot. 


     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a 44-year-old male victim with apparent stab wounds to his back. The victim was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey for treatment of his injuries, where he is reported to be in critical but stable condition.


     An investigation by The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit, Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Unit, Brick Township Police Department, and Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit, had resulted in Stallworth being identified as the individual who stabbed the victim and caused his injuries.


     On Monday, July 26, 2021, a warrant was issued for Stallworth’s arrest. He was Charged with Attempted Murder; Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.


     Ocean County Prosecutor Billhimer and Chief Riccio acknowledge the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit, Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Unit, Brick Township Police Department Detective Bureau and Patrol Division, Lakewood Township Police Department, Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit, and Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Division, for their collaborative efforts in connection with this investigation and Stallworth’s apprehension.

FREEHOLD, NJ.- On Monday, August 30, 2021 Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey announced that a Grand Jury sitting in Monmouth County, New Jersey has returned an Indictment against Three Monmouth County, New Jersey Men on  Sexual Contact and Child Endangerment Offenses against a minor co-worker in a Red Bank, New Jersey Eatery.


     The Indictment returned on Friday, August 27, 2021 by The Grand Jury Charging both Trinidad Mendez-Romero, 31, of Tinton Falls, New Jersey and Eduardo Jimenez-Berdejo of Red Bank, New Jersey, on Two Counts each of Third Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; and Two Counts each of Fourth Degree Criminal Sexual Contact.


     The Indictment also Charges Jesus E. Reyes-Rodriguez with One Count of Third Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; and One Count of Fourth Degree Criminal Sexual Contact.


     The Charges against the Three Men are in connection with multiple cases of Sexual Contact with an underage female co-worker  in two seperate eateries in Red Bank Restaurants on various dates between June of 2020 and February 10, 2021.


     The sentencing exposure on Third Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child is Three to Five Years in New Jersey State Prison, and Mendez-Romero, Jimenez-Berdejo, and Reyes-Rodriguez will also be subject to Megan's Law Registration Requirements, upon completion of their custodial sentence.


     The sentencing exposure on Fourth Degree Criminal Sexual Contact is up to Eighteen Months in New Jersey State Prison.

BELVIDERE, NJ.- On Monday, August 30, 2021 Warren County Prosecutor James L. Pfeiffer announced that on Friday, August 27, 2021, a Jury sitting in Warren County has returned a guilty verdict against Gilberto Morales on all Charges in the Indictment. The verdict was returned on Friday in Warren County State Superior Court and before The Honorable H. Matthew Curry, J.S.C.


     Mr. Morales was convicted on the Charges of First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault; Second Degree Sexual Assault; and Second Degree Endangering The Welfare Of A Child. Mr. Gilberto Faces a maximum sentence of 45 Years in New Jersey State Prison with a term of service of 35 Years before Parole Eligibility. Sentencing has been tentatively scheduled for October 22, 2021.


     These conviction stem from the defendant committing acts of sexual penetration and sexual contact, upon a child, when the child was twelve years old. These offenses occurred on April 25. 2021 in Phillipsburg, New Jersey.

PATERSON, NJ.- On Monday, August 30, 2021 Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes announced the arrest of Valerio Almonte-Espinal, 39 years old, from Paterson, New Jersey. Mr. Almonte-Espinal was arrested on Saturday, August 28, 2021 after an investigation conducted by The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit. 



     Mr. Almonte-Espinal is charged with One Count of Second Degree Sexual Assault and One Count of Second Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child.


     On Friday, August 27, 2021 The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office received information from The Division of Child Protection and Permanency regarding a twelve-year-old child who disclosed acts of sexual assault by Mr. Almonte-Espinal. Special Victims Unit Detectives interviewed the victim and multiple witnesses. The investigation revealed that Mr. Almonte-Espinal sexually assaulted the child at a residence in  Paterson, New Jersey in May of 2021 when the child was eleven years old.


     The sentencing exposure on Second Degree Sexual Assault is Five to Ten Years in New Jersey State Prison with 85% term of service before parole pursuant to the New Early Release Act and on Endangering the Welfare of a Child it is Five to Ten Years in New Jersey State Prison. If convicted, Mr. Almonte-Espinal is subject to Parole Supervision for Life and Megan’s Law Registration Requirements.


     Mr. Almonte-Espinal is currently detained in the Passaic County Jail. The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office has filed a Motion for Pretrial Detention which will be heard by a Superior Court judge this week.

PASSAIC, NJ.- On Sunday, August 29, 2021 Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Passaic Police Chief Luis A. Guzman announced that on Sunday, August 29, 2021, at approximately 5:50 a.m., Members of The Passaic Police Department responded to St. Mary’s Hospital in the City of Passaic in response to a report of a shooting victim that had arrived by way of a private vehicle. 



     Upon arrival, Police Officers were notified that the victim, Donyell Coley, 41-years-old from Passaic, New Jersey suffered multiple gunshot wounds throughout his body and was in critical condition. At approximately 6:36 a.m. Mr. Coley succumbed to his injuries and was subsequently pronounced deceased at Saint Mary’s Hospital.


     The subsequent investigation revealed that Mr. Coley was shot in a parking lot outside 19 Aspen Place in Passaic, New Jersey.  The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information may become available, once it is released by authorities.

DOVER, NJ.- On Sunday, August 29, 2021 Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll, Chief of Detectives Christoph Kimker, Morris County Sheriff James Gannon, and Dover Police Department Chief Jonathan Delaney announced an investigation is underway regarding a deceased male located on West Blackwell Street, Dover, NJ on Sunday, August 29, 2021. 



     On Sunday, August 29, 2021, at approximately 7:40 a.m. Members of The Dover Police Department responded to the area of West Blackwell Street and Randolph Avenue in Dover, New Jersey on the report of a male lying on the sidewalk. Upon arrival, Police Officers located a deceased male. The victim’s name and identity will not be released at this time.


     Police have identified a person of interest. The investigation is active and ongoing. No further information was available at time of reporting, in order to protect the integrity of the investigation. There is no perceived threat to the public at this time.


     Numerous law enforcement agencies have participated in this investigation, including Members of The Dover Police Department, as well as The Morris County Sheriff’s Office, and The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office.

KABUL, AFGHANISTAN,- The United States carried out an unmanned airstrike in Kabul, Afghanistan, as President Biden arrived at Dover, Delaware Air Force Base to meet with the families of the Thirteen U.S. Service Members killed in a suicide bombing attack at the airport last week.


     After conflicting reports this morning, a U.S. Official confirmed the airstrike in Kabul.


      Citing the Taliban, The Associated Press reported the airstrike struck a suicide bomber in car ladened with explosives as it was making its way to the Hamid Karzai International Airport.


     The U.S. Embassy in Kabul in an alert, warned of a specific credible threat, and urged those hoping to flee the country to leave the airport. Biden said on Saturday, The Kabul Airport was highly likely to be the target of another attack before the August 31, 2021 withdrawal deadline set by the Taliban.


     U.S Forces carried out the drone strike sunday against the imminent ISIS-K Threat to the airport in Kabul, the military said in a statement.


     " We are confident we successfully hit the target," said Navy Captain Bill Urban, a spokesman for U.S. Central Command. " Significant secondary explosions from the vehicle indicated the presence of a substantial amount of explosive materials."

PATERSON, NJ.- On Sunday, August 29, 2021,Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announce that on Sunday, August 29, 2021, at approximately 3:32 a.m., Members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Main Street and Weiss Street in Paterson, New Jersey on a report of shots fired. 


     Upon arrival, Police Officers located a potential crime scene but were unable to locate a victim. Shortly thereafter, police were advised that a 23-year-old male Paterson, New Jersey resident arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey seeking treatment for a non-threatening gunshot wound. 


     The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information may become available as it is released from authorities.

Egg Harbor Township Man & Woman Charged

TWO LITTLE EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS CHARGED WITH STRICT LIABILITY FOR A DRUG INDUCED DEATH

     " David Belk & Stephanie O'Neill Of Little Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey Are Charged With The Drug Induced Death Of A Sixteen Year Old Boy On July 3, 2021."

LITTLE EGG HARBOR, NJ.- On Friday, August 27, 2021 Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer and Captain James Hawkins of the Little Egg Harbor Police Department announced that on August 26, 2021, David Belk, 45, and Stephanie O’Neill, 44, both of Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey.



     The two were Charged with Strict Liability Drug Induced Death; in connection to the Death of a Sixteen-Year-Old male in Little Egg Harbor on July 3, 2021. Belk and O’Neill were also charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child;  Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute; and Possession of Heroin.


     On Saturday July 3, 2021, Members of The Little Egg Harbor Police Department responded to a residence on East Susquehanna Drive in Little Egg Harbor Township on a report of an unresponsive sixteen-year-old male lying on the floor. Upon arrival, Police Officers immediately administered lifesaving measures,  the young man was transported to Hackensack Meridian Southern Ocean Medical Center in Manahawkin, New Jersey, where he was subsequently pronounced deceased.



     An investigation by The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit and Little Egg Harbor Township Police Department Detective Bureau determined that Belk and O’Neill had supplied Heroin and Fentanyl to the victim. 


     Further investigation and toxicology analysis recently received by The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office confirmed the presence of Heroin and Fentanyl in the victim’s system. Based upon the toxicology analysis, The Ocean County Medical Examiner’s Office determined that the Heroin and Fentanyl found in the victim’s system was the cause of his death. As a consequence, Belk and O’Neill were Charged with Strict Liability Drug Induced Death.


     Ms.O’Neill was taken into custody and is currently lodged in the Ocean County Jail in Toms River, New Jersey pending a detention hearing. 


     A warrant has been issued for Mr. Belk’s arrest, and his name has been placed in The National Crime Information Center database. Anyone with information concerning Belk’s whereabouts – or any information at all regarding this investigation - is urged to contact Detective Brant Uricks of the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office at 732-929- 2027, or Detective Christopher Arciniegas of the Little Egg Harbor Township Police Department at 609-296- 3666. 


     Prosecutor Billhimer and Captain Hawkins commend The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit, Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Unit, Little Egg Harbor Township Police Department Detective Bureau, Little Egg Harbor Township Police Department Patrol Division, Ocean County Medical Examiner’s Office, and Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit, for their collaborative efforts in connection with this investigation.


UPDATE: Mr. Belk Apprehended.


LITTLE EGG HARBOR, NJ.- On Saturday. August 28, 2021 Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer and Captain James Hawkins of the Little Egg Harbor Police Department announced that on August 27, 2021, David Belk, 45, of Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey a fugitive from justice relative to an incident that occurred in Little Egg Harbor Township on Saturday, July 3, 2021, was apprehended in Atlantic City by the New Jersey Transit Police. 


     At the time of his apprehension, Belk was found to be in Possession of Heroin and was Charged accordingly. Belk was processed at Little Egg Harbor Township Police Headquarters and transported to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River, New Jersey where he will remain lodged pending a detention hearing.
