FREEHOLD, NJ.- On Monday, August 30, 2021 Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey announced that a Grand Jury sitting in Monmouth County, New Jersey has returned an Indictment against Three Monmouth County, New Jersey Men on Sexual Contact and Child Endangerment Offenses against a minor co-worker in a Red Bank, New Jersey Eatery.
The Indictment returned on Friday, August 27, 2021 by The Grand Jury Charging both Trinidad Mendez-Romero, 31, of Tinton Falls, New Jersey and Eduardo Jimenez-Berdejo of Red Bank, New Jersey, on Two Counts each of Third Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; and Two Counts each of Fourth Degree Criminal Sexual Contact.
The Indictment also Charges Jesus E. Reyes-Rodriguez with One Count of Third Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; and One Count of Fourth Degree Criminal Sexual Contact.
The Charges against the Three Men are in connection with multiple cases of Sexual Contact with an underage female co-worker in two seperate eateries in Red Bank Restaurants on various dates between June of 2020 and February 10, 2021.
The sentencing exposure on Third Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child is Three to Five Years in New Jersey State Prison, and Mendez-Romero, Jimenez-Berdejo, and Reyes-Rodriguez will also be subject to Megan's Law Registration Requirements, upon completion of their custodial sentence.
The sentencing exposure on Fourth Degree Criminal Sexual Contact is up to Eighteen Months in New Jersey State Prison.
