NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ.- Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone reported that on Thursday, March 30, 2023, a Grand Jury sitting in Middlesex County, New Jersey, Returned an Indictment against Three Perth Amboy, New Jersey Campaign Workers for a City Council Candidate on Charges of Bribery, Witness Tampering, and Election Law Violations.



     On Thursday, Following the Presentation of Evidence by The Middlesex Prosecutor's Office, The Grand Jury Returned a Seven-Count Indictment Charging Campaign Workers Ana Camilo, 62, Annet Sanchez, 52, and Marie Peralta, 60, all of Perth Amboy, New Jersey, with Various Offenses for their involvement in efforts to offer Gift Cards to Voters in return for Completed Mail-In Ballots that contained Votes for their Chosen Candidate. 


     Ms. Camilo was Indicted on Two Counts of Third Degree Bribery; Third Degree Unlawful Possession of a Ballot; Third Degree Attempt to Cast an Illegal Ballot; and Third Degree Election Law Violation for her role in Meeting and Attempting to Bribe an Undercover Detective who was posing as a Perth Amboy Voter.


     Ms. Sanchez and Ms. Peralta were each Indicted on One Count of Third Degree Retaliation Against a Witness for their roles in Harassing a Witness who provided information about Ms. Camilo's Activities in Voter Fraud.


     New Jersey Election Law Prohibits the Offering of any Inducements for Voting for a particular Candidate.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ.- Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone reported that on Thursday, March 30, 2023, a Grand Jury sitting in Middlesex County, New Jersey, Returned an Indictment against Former Sayreville Borough Democratic Chairman, along with his Son and Daughter-In-Law.



     On Thursday, Following the Presentation of Evidence by The Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office, The Grand Jury Returned a Fourteen-Count Indictment Charging Thomas V. Pollando, 73, David Pollando, 42, and Lizmarie Pollando, 29, all of Sayreville, New Jersey, with Various Offenses. 


     Thomas V. Pollando was Charged with Three Counts of Second Degree Bribery; Second Degree Acceptance of an Unlawful Benefit by a Public Official; Third Degree Hindering Apprehension or Prosecution; Fourth Degree Theft by Deception; Fourth Degree Falsifying Public Records; and Second Degree Official Misconduct.


     David Pollando was Charged with Second Degree Conspiracy; Second Degree Witness Tampering; Second Degree Retaliation Against a Witness; and Third Degree Terroristic Threats.


     Lizmarie Pollando was Charged with Second Degree Conspiracy; and Third Degree Hindering the Apprehension of Another.


     The Charges are a result of an investigation spanning weeks during the months of July and August 2022. During the investigation, Detectives from The Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office were conducting Electronic Surveillance on a Business in Sayreville, New Jersey. While conducting surveillance, Detectives observed Mr. Pollando accept Several Thousand Dollars in Cash and heard him Claiming that he would attempt to use his Political Clout to Influence an Ongoing Criminal Case. Further investigation into Mr. Pollando uncovered that he directed another Candidate's Campaign Funds for Sayreville Borough Council to be used to Pay for Personal Expenditures. Pollando also directed that Election Records be Falsified to Cover Up that Payment.


     The Counts against David and Lizmarie Pollando stem from an Encounter in November 2022 that occurred in Old Bridge, New Jersey. Where it is alleged that David Pollando Threatened a Witness. The investigation further determined that Lizmarie Pollando alerted her Husband to the Witnesses' Location and then Lied to the Police when questioned about the incident.

BREAKING: Medford Township Man Charged

MEDFORD TOWNSHIP MAN ARRESTED AND CHARGED FOR THE STRANGULATION DEATH OF HIS WIFE

     " Babu Natarajan Has Been Arrested & Charged In Connection With The March 21, 2023, Murder Of His Wife Inside Their Home."

MEDFORD, NJ.- Today, Burlington Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw reported that a Medford Township, New Jersey, man was Arrested and Charged Wednesday, March 29, 2023, for Killing his Wife inside their Regent Court Home last Tuesday Afternoon.



     Babu Natarajan, 40, was Arrested at his residence without incident and Charged with One Count of First Degree Murder. Mr. Natarajan was Processed on The Charge and Remanded to The Burlington County Jail in Mount Holly, New Jersey. The Burlington Prosecutor's Office has filed a Pretrial Detention Motion to have Mr. Natarajan Detained pending Trial.


     The investigation began when on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, when Members of The Medford Township Police Department responded to a Residence located on Regent Court on a report of an Unconscious and Unresponsive Woman. 


     Upon arrival, Police Officers found the body of Angammal Babu, 41, on the bed in the upstairs Master Bedroom. The 911 Emergency Call was placed by Mr. Natarajan, who indicated to the Police Officers that his Wife had taken a nap because she was tired.


     A subsequent autopsy performed by The Burlington County Medical Examiner determined that Ms. Babu's Death was Due to Manual Neck Compressions to her Neck and The Manner to be Homicide.

Northfield Man Sentenced To State Prison

MAYS LANDING, NJ.- Atlantic County Prosecutor William Reynolds reported that on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, The Honorable Nancy Ridgway, J.S.C., Sentenced David Spinks, 64, of Northfield, New Jersey, to a Term of Five Years in New Jersey State Prison for Two Weapons Offenses that occurred in July and August of 2020.



     The Charges stem from Two Separated Incidents. On July 13, 2020, while in Atlantic City, New Jersey, Mr. Spinks Assaulted a Victim on Michigan Avenue by hitting the victim over the head with a Sawed-Off Shotgun. Then on August 18, 2020, again in Atlantic City, while Mr. Spinks was being Arrested on the Assault Charge, Members of The Atlantic City Police Department found Mr. Spinks to be in Possession of a Handgun.


     Subsequently, on November 9, 2022, Mr. Spinks Pled Guilty to One Count of Second Degree Certain Persons not to Possess Weapons; and Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose. The Sentence will run concurrently with each other. Mr. Spinks must Serve the entire Five Years.

HACKENSACK, NJ.- The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Narcotics Task Force makes another Arrest in the never-ending battle in combating New Jersey's Illicit Drug Trade.


     According to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella, Following an investigation, On Monday, March 27, 2023, Jose A. Hernandez, 48, of North Bergen, New Jersey, was Arrested and Charged after he delivered 15 Grams of Cocaine to an Undercover Detective. A subsequent search of Mr. Hernandez's Vehicle uncovered Additional Adderall Pills, Oxycodone Tablets, and various Packaging Materials consistent with the Narcotic Trade.


     Accordingly, on Monday, as a result of the investigation, Mr. Hernandez was Arrested and Formally Charged with Second Degree Distribution of Cocaine; Third Degree Possession with Intent to Distribute Adderall; and Third Degree Possession with Intent to Distribute Oxycodone. 


     Mr. Hernandez was remanded to The Bergen County Jail, Pending Future Court Proceedings in Bergen County State Superior Court.

Two Charged In Monmouth County

FREEHOLD, NJ.- On Wednesday, March 29, 2023, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago reported that a Grand Jury sitting in Monmouth County, New Jersey, has returned a Superseding Indictment against a Keyport, New Jersey, couple for Attempting to Bribe the Victim of a 2022, Violent Sexual Assault from cooperating with Authorities.



     The Grand Jury returned the Indictment, Charging Kareem Lee, 32, and Erin Logan, 31, both of Keyport, New Jersey, have each been Charged with Second Degree Conspiracy; and Second Degree Bribery of a Witness. Mr. Lee remains additionally Charged with First Degree Armed Robbery; First Degree of Aggravated Sexual Assault; Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.


     Back on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at approximately 2:30 p.m., Members of The Tinton Falls Police Department responded to a Local Motel located on Route 33 on a report of an Assault. Upon arrival, Police Officers were told by a Victim that she had been Sexually Assaulted at Gunpoint by a Man who entered her room.


     A joint investigation by Members of The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Bureau and The Tinton Falls Police Department was able to identify Mr. Lee as a Suspect in the incident. Mr. Lee was located the following day in Count Basie Park and taken into Custody by Members of The Red Bank Police Department.


     The ongoing investigation by Authorities determined that on numerous Dates in October and November of 2022, Mr. Lee, Ms. Logan, and a Third Party offered a Sum of Cash to the Victim in exchange for her telling Authorities she no longer want to pursue the Prosecution of Mr. Lee. Ms. Logan was Arrested in December 2022.


     Authorities are actively seeking additional information about the activities of Mr. Lee and Ms. Logan. Former Teacher Charged

FORMER HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER CHARGED WITH THE SEXUAL ASSAULT OF HIS STUDENT

HAMILTON, NJ.- Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri reported that on Monday, March 27, 2023, a Former Steinert High School Teacher was Arrested and Charged with Sexual Offenses for having an inappropriate Sexual Relationship with a Student back in 1998 and continuing through 2000.


    The Victim, now an Adult, reported the Allegations to The Ewing Police Department late last year. An investigation was initiated by Members of The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit in conjunction with Detectives of The Ewing Police Department. During the course of the investigation, Detectives interviewed witnesses, including the Victim, and determined that between the years 1998 and 2000, Mr. DePuglio commit the offenses at his Ewing, New Jersey Home, when he was actively employed as the Victims Teacher at Steinert High School in Hamilton, New Jersey. 



     Upon the conclusion of the investigation, on Monday, March 27, 2023, Joseph DePuglio, 76, of Ewing, was Arrested by Members of The Mercer County Special Victims Unit and Detectives of The Ewing Police Department and Formally Charged with One Count of Second Degree Sexual Assault; and One Count of Second Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child.


     Mr. DePuglio was Processed on the Charges and Released pending future Court Proceedings in Mercer County State Superior Court.

CAMDEN, NJ.- Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. McAulay reported that The Camden County Homicide Unit and The Camden County Police Department are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding Sunday Afternoon's Shooting that Killed a 21-Year-Old Camden Man.


     On Sunday, March 26, 2023, at approximately 2:40 p.m., Members of The Camden County Police Department responded to The 1400 Block of Collings Road in Camden after being Alerted to a ShotSpotter Activation.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers located a victim, later identified as Daijohn Spaulding, 21, of Camden, a short distance away, at 3100 Alabama Road, suffering from a Gunshot Wound. Mr. Spaulding was immediately transported to Cooper University Hospital, by Police Officers. Mr. Spaulding succumbed to his injury and was subsequently pronounced deceased at 3:01 p.m.


     The investigation remains active and ongoing. No Arrests have been made as Detectives continue to search for a Suspect. Two Charged In Trenton Shooting Homicide

17 YEAR OLD TEEN AND 24 YEAR OLD MAN WERE ARRESTED AND CHARGED IN TRENTON FATAL SHOOTING

     " 17-Year-Old Teen & Nilson Zepeda-Galicia Have Been Charged In Connection Friday Night's Fatal Shooting Of Harold Rosario."

TRENTON, NJ.- Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri reported that following an investigation by Members of The Mercer County Homicide Task Force, in conjunction with Detectives of The Trenton Police Department, has led to the Arrests and the Filing of Charges against Two Individuals in connection with a Friday Night Fatal Shooting of a 19-Year-Old Trenton man and the Shooting of another man.



     On Friday, March 24, 2023, at approximately 10:40 p.m., Members of The Trenton Police Department responded to The GT Bar and Lounge located at 602 Federal Street in Trenton on a report of Multiple Shots Fired. Upon arrival, Police Officers located Two Gunshot Victims right outside the Bar. Both Victims were immediately transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where Harold Rosario, 19, of Trenton, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased a short time later. The second Victim, a 28-Year-Old man, remains Hospitalized in Critical Condition.


     A swift-moving investigation by Detectives, Identified the 17-Year-Old Trenton Teen and Nilson Zepeda-Galicia as Suspects and the Individuals responsible for the Death of Mr. Rosario and the Shooting of the other man.


     Accordingly, on Saturday, March 25, 2023, was Arrested in Hamilton, New Jersey, without incident and Charged with First Degree Murder; Attempted Murder; Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. The Teen was Processed on the Charges and Remanded to The Middlesex County Youth Detention Center pending a Detention Hearing.


     Mr. Zepeda-Galicia, 24, of Hamilton, New Jersey, was Arrested on Friday evening shortly after the Shooting. The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office has Filed a Motion to have Detained pending Trial.

MAYS LANDING, NJ.- On Monday, March 27, 2023, Atlantic County Prosecutor William Reynolds reported that a Grand Jury sitting in Atlantic County, New Jersey, has returned an Indictment against a 43-Year-Old Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, man for Assaulting a Philadelphia woman while she was walking on The Atlantic City Boardwalk. 


     On Thursday, March 23, 2023, The Grand Jury returned the Indictment, Charging Samuel Cooper, 43, of Philadelphia, with One Count of First Degree Attempted Murder for Purposely Causing or Attempting to Cause Death or Bodily Injury; Two Counts of Aggravated Assault; Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; Unlawful Possession of a Weapon; and Certain Persons Not to Possess Weapons.


     On Friday, January 6, 2023, Members of The Atlantic City Police Department responded to The Boardwalk in the area of Iowa Avenue on a report of an injured woman. Upon arrival, Police Officers located a woman suffering from injuries from an Attack.


     The ensuing investigation by Police determined that the woman, a Philadelphia resident, was walking along The Boardwalk when she was Randomly Assaulted by Mr. Cooper with a Brick Tied in a White Tee-Shirt.

Bergen County Narcotics Arrests

BERGEN COUNTY NARCOTICS TASK FORCE DETECTIVES SEIZE FENTANYL AND COCAINE IN 2 SEPARATE CASES

HACKENSACK, NJ.- On Monday, March 27, 2023, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella reported that following Two Separate Narcotics Investigations into Narcotics Distribution, a 49-Year-Old Roselle Park, New Jersey man and a 29-Year-Old Orlando, Florida man have been Arrested and Charged with Multiple Narcotics Offenses. The Arrests come just One Week after Five Coworkers Overdosed who thought they were ingesting Cocaine, when in fact, the Cocaine was Laced with Fentanyl causing the Death of a 29-Year-Old Single Mother.


     On Wednesday, March 22, 2023, during a Narcotics Investigation, Detectives of The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Narcotics Task Force conducted a Traffic Stop on Vehicle in Hackensack, being operated by Jose Restrepo-Velez, 49, of Roselle Park, New Jersey. During the Traffic Stop, The Detectives conducted a Search of the Vehicle, Detectives located Two Kilograms of Fentanyl and Approximately 100 Grams of Cocaine. The Traffic Stop was conducted because, in early March, Mr. Restrepo-Velez had Distributed 50 Grams of Cocaine and 100 Grams of Fentanyl to an undercover Detective. 


     Accordingly, Mr. Restrepo-Velez was Arrested at the scene and Charged with First Degree Distribution of Cocaine; Second Degree Distribution of Cocaine; and Second Degree Distribution of Fentanyl. Mr. Restrepo-Velez was Processed on the Charges and Remanded to The Bergen County Jail, pending a First Appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court and Potential Detention Hearing.


     On Thursday, March 23, 2023, during a separate Narcotics Investigation, Detectives of The Bergen County Narcotics Task Force conducted a Traffic Stop on a Vehicle being operated by Gabriel Ortiz-Redondo, 29, of Orlando, Florida, as the Vehicle traveled through Bergen County, New Jersey. A Search of the Vehicle determined that Mr. Ortiz-Redondo was Transporting Two Kilograms of Cocaine in an Electronically Operated Hidden Compartment.


     Accordingly, Mr. Ortiz-Redondo was Arrested at the scene and Charged with First Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance. Mr. Ortiz-Redondo was Processed on the Charge and Remanded to The Bergen County Jail, pending his First Appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court and Potential Detention Hearing.

PHILLIPSBURG, NJ.- On Monday, March 27, 2023, Warren County Prosecutor James L. Pfeiffer reported that following an investigation, Nine Students have been Charged in connection with a March 17, 2023, Assault in The Town of Phillipsburg, New Jersey.


     On Friday, March 17, 2023, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Members of The Phillipsburg Police Department responded to Hudson Street on a report of an Assault. Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered that 9 Juveniles from The Phillipsburg Middle School and High School were involved in an Altercation. Due to that, Juveniles were involved, their names, ages, and the nature of the altercation were not released.


     As a result of the investigation, the Nine Juveniles were each Charged with the following: One Count of Third Degree Aggravated Assault; and One Count of Third Degree Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Assault. The Juveniles were Processed on the Charges and released to their parents, pending future Court Proceedings in Warren County Family Court.


    In a released statement, The Phillipsburg School District and The Phillipsburg Police Department will not tolerate violence against its Citizens or Pupils.

Asbury Park Woman Indicted

ASBURY PARK WOMAN INDICTED FOR TODDLER'S TRAGIC FATAL OVERDOSE

     " Quanique Smith Indicted On Charges For Allowing Her 2-Year-Old Son To Ingest Fentanyl Which Caused His Death."

FREEHOLD, NJ.- Today, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago reported that a Grand Jury sitting in Monmouth County, New Jersey has returned an Indictment against an Asbury Park, New Jersey woman, whose 2-Year-Old Son Died of a Drug Overdose back in January of this year.


     The Grand Jury returned the Indictment, Charging Quanique Smith, 26, with First Degree Aggravated Manslaughter; Two Counts of Second Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; Third Degree Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance; and Third Degree Hindering Apprehension or Prosecution.


     Back on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at approximately 1:00 a.m., Members of The Asbury Park Police Department responded to an Apartment located on The 100 Block of Langford Street in Asbury Park on a report of an Unresponsive Child. Upon arrival, Police Officers found a 2-Year-Old Boy, Unresponsive. Police Officers immediately transported the Child to the Hospital and despite extensive Life-Saving Efforts, the Child was pronounced deceased shortly before 2:00 a.m.


     The ensuing investigation by Detectives of The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office and The Asbury Park Police Department quickly Determined that Quantities of Fentanyl and Heroin belonging to Ms. Smith had been left behind in the Family's Home. The Drugs were in arms reach of the 2-Year-Old and his 5-Year-Old Sibling, with the 2-Year-Old ingesting the Drugs, which led to his Death.


     Ms. Smith was Arrested and Charged the same day and was transported to The Monmouth County Correctional Institution, where she has remained Detained.


     If Convicted of the Charges, Ms. Smith would face a Prison Term of 30 years in New Jersey State Prison. The Prison Term will be Subject to The No Early Release Act, which would require Ms. Smith to serve Eighty-Five Percent of her Custodial Term before Parole.

PATERSON, NJ.- Today Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes reported that Detectives are actively investigating a Sunday Afternoon Shooting that Injured a Teen.


     On Sunday, March 26, 2023, at approximately 5:26 p.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Hamilton Avenue and Carroll Street in Paterson, on a report of a Shooting. Upon arrival, Police Officers located a crime scene, but no victim was located.


     A short time later, Members of The Paterson Police Department were notified that a Teen had arrived at Saint Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey seeking treatment for a Non-Fatal Gunshot Wound.


     The Investigation remains active and ongoing. No Arrests have been made at this time. Bergen County Man Charged

BERGEN COUNTY MAN CHARGED IN CONNECTION WITH DRUG INDUCED DEATH OF A PEQUANNOCK WOMAN

     " David Pezak Has Been Charged With First Degree Strict Liability for Drug-Induced Death In The Fatal Overdose Of A Woman."

PEQUANNOCK, NJ.- Today, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll reported that a former Saddle Brook man has been Arrested and Charged in connection with the November 15, 2021, Fatal Drug Overdose of a Woman in Pequannock, New Jersey.


     On Monday, November 15, 2021, Members of The Pequannock Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call, for an Unresponsive woman. Upon arrival, Police Officers found the woman, later identified as A.C. deceased from an apparent Drug Overdose, A.C. was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene. 


     A subsequent Autopsy and Toxicology Analysis by The Morris County Regional Medical Examiner's Office determined that the Cause of Death was Acute Fentanyl, Amphetamine, Carisoprodol, and Clonazepam Intoxication, and the Manner, a Fatal Overdose.


     Based on subsequent investigation, it has been alleged that David Pezak, 34, Conspired with an Unnamed individual to Distribute Narcotics to A.C. on November 15, 2021, in Paterson, New Jersey. It is further alleged that A.C.'s Death was a result of her ingesting the substances she obtained through her conversations with Mr. Pezak.


     As a result of the investigation that recently concluded, Mr. Pezak has been Charged with First Degree Strict Liability for Drug-Induced Death; Third Degree Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance; Third Degree Distribution of a Controlled Dangerous Substance; Third Degree Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance; and a Disorderly Person Offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.


     Mr. Pezak is currently Detained in The Morris County Correctional Facility in Morristown, New Jersey, and will be Detained pending the resolution of the Charges Filed Against him.

TRENTON, NJ.- On Sunday, March 26, 2023, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri reported that The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and The Trenton Police Department are continuing to investigate a Shooting that occurred last night in the City.


     On Sunday, March 26, 2023, at approximately 6:35 p.m., Members of The Trenton Police Department responded to a Multi ShotSpotter Activation in the area of Pennington Avenue and Monroe Street in Trenton, New Jersey.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers found Two Gunshot Victims, a Woman, and a Man, both having sustained Gunshot Wounds at the intersection of Pennington Avenue and Monroe Street. Both Victims were immediately transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where the woman succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased. The man was treated for a Gunshot Wound to his hand.


     During the initial investigation, a concerned Citizen came forward and told Police that the Suspect was inside a Residence on Pennington Avenue. Upon entry to the residence, Police Officers found a man deceased from an apparent Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound to his Head. A Gun was located next to his Body.

Newark Man Charged

NEWARK NEW JERSEY MAN CHARGED FOR THE OCTOBER 8, 2022 MURDER OF AN EAST ORANGE MAN

     " Vernon Crook Has Been Charged With Murder & Weapons Offenses For The Shooting Death Of Attariq Johnson."

NEWARK, NJ.- On Friday, March 24, 2023, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II reported that a 49-Year-Old Newark, New Jersey man was Arrested and Charged in connection with the October 8, 2022, Fatal Shooting of 36-Year-Old East Orange, New Jersey man.


     On October 8, 2022, Members of The Newark Police Department responded to The 100 Block of Brenner Street in Newark on a Shooting report. Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, later identified as Altariq Johnson, 36, of East Orange, New Jersey suffering from Multiple Gunshot Wounds. Mr. Johnson was immediately transported to University Hospital in Newark, where he succumbed to his injuries and was subsequently pronounced deceased. 



     Following an investigation by Members of The Essex County Prosecutor's Office Homicide Task Force in conjunction with The Newark Police Department, Detectives were able to identify Vernon Crook, 49, of Newark as a Suspect and the person responsible for the Shooting Death of Mr. Johnson.


     Accordingly, Mr. Crook was Charged with One Count of First Degree Murder; Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon; Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Handgun, for a Prior Conviction; and Second Degree Certain Persons not to Possess Weapons.


     Mr. Crook was Processed on the Charges and Remanded to The Essex County Correctional Facility, pending a First Appearance and Potential Detention Hearing.

Paterson Man Convicted

PATERSON, NJ.- On Friday, March 24, 2023, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes reported that a 40-Year-Old Paterson, New Jersey man was Convicted on Charges for Repeatedly Sexually Assaulting a 7-Year-Old Child and an 11-Year-Old Child.



     On Jury sitting in Passaic County, New Jersey on Thursday, March 23, 2023, Convicted Antwan Campbell, 40, of Paterson, New Jersey on the Charges of One Count of First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault; Two Counts of Second Degree Sexual Assault; and Two Counts of Second Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child. 


     Back in February 2019, The Paterson Police Department notified The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit, that a Seven-Year-Old Child and an Eleven-Year-Old Child made Sexual Abuse Allegations against Mr. Campbell. An investigation was initiated by Detectives of The Passaic County Special Victims Unit. After interviewing Multiple Witnesses, including the Children. Detectives determined that Mr. Campbell Sexually Assaulted the Children on Multiple Occasions between November 2018 and February 2019 at their Home in Paterson, New Jersey. At the conclusion of the investigation, Mr. Campbell was Arrested and Formally Charged.


     After the Jury returned the Guilty Verdicts, The Honorable Sohail Mohammed, J.S.C. Remanded Mr. Campbell to The Passaic County Jail. Judge Mohammed has Scheduled Sentencing for July 13, 2023, at 9:00 a.m., at which time Mr. Campbell will face the potential exposure of spending the rest of his Life in New Jersey State Prison. Mr. Campbell if Granted Parole will be on Parole Supervision for Life and will be Subject to Megan's Law Registration Requirements.

KEASBEY, NJ.- On Thursday, March 23, 2023, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone reported that a Sicklerville, New Jersey man has been Arrested and Charged in connection with a 2014 Burglary and Sexual Assault of a Woman.


     On September 21, 2021, Members of The Woodbridge Township Police Department responded to an Apartment in Keasby, after a woman reported being Sexually Assaulted by an Unknown Man who had forced his way into her Apartment.



     As a result of the continued dedication of Detectives of Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office and Detectives of The Woodbridge Township Police Department, were able to Identify Danny McEaddy, 39, of Sicklerville, New Jersey as the individual responsible for The Burglary and Sexual Assault.


     Accordingly, On Thursday, March 23, 2023, Mr. McEaddy was Arrested and Formally Charged First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault; First Degree Kidnapping; Second Degree Burglary; Third Degree Aggravated Criminal Sexual Contact; Third Degree Criminal Restraint; and Third Degree Aggravated Assault.


     Mr. McEaddy was Processed on The Charges and Remanded to The Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center pending his First Appearance and potential Detention Hearing in Middlesex County State Superior Court.


     The Investigation remains active and ongoing. NEWARK, NJ.- Today, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II reported that Two Newark, New Jersey Brothers have been Arrested and Charged in connection with The Fatal Shooting of a 29-Year-Old Jersey City man that occurred on January 24, 2023.


     On Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at approximately 5:28 p.m., Members of The Newark Police Department responded to The 100 Block of Clinton Avenue in Newark, on a report of a Shooting.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, later identified as Boubacar Doukoure, 29, of Jersey City, New Jersey, Unresponsive in a Parking Lot. Mr. Doukoure was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene at 6:02 p.m.



     Following an investigation by Members of The Essex County Prosecutor's Office Homicide Task Force, with assistance from Detectives of The Newark Police Department were able to Identify Dequan Meadows, 24, and Uquan Meadows, 24, both of Newark as Suspects and Individuals responsible for The Shooting Death of Mr. Doukoure.



     Both Brothers were Charged with One Count of First Degree Murder; First Degree Conspiracy to Commit Murder; Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. Both Brothers were Processed on the Charges and Remanded to The Essex County Correctional Facility pending their First Appearance and Potential Detention Hearing in Essex County State Superior Court.
