TEEN ARRIVES AT THE HOSPITAL AFTER BEING STRUCK BY GUNFIRE YESTERDAY AFTERNOON

     " Passaic County Authorities Are Investigating A Sunday Afternoon Shooting That Injured A Teen."

PATERSON, NJ.- Today Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes reported that Detectives are actively investigating a Sunday Afternoon Shooting that Injured a Teen.

     On Sunday, March 26, 2023, at approximately 5:26 p.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Hamilton Avenue and Carroll Street in Paterson, on a report of a Shooting. Upon arrival, Police Officers located a crime scene, but no victim was located.

     A short time later, Members of The Paterson Police Department were notified that a Teen had arrived at Saint Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey seeking treatment for a Non-Fatal Gunshot Wound.

     The Investigation remains active and ongoing. No Arrests have been made at this time.
