Boyfriend Charged With Murder

FORMER BOYFRIEND CHARGED IN CONNECTION WITH THE SHOOTING DEATH OF HIS EX GIRLFRIEND

     " Antonio Burke Has Been Charged With Shooting Alicia Stilley & Leaving Her To Die At A Self Service Car Wash In Palmyra, New Jersey Last Week."

PALMYRA, NJ.- On Monday, April 25, 2022 Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Palmyra Police Chief Meghan Campbell announced that a former boyfriend has been Charged with Killing a 28-Year-Old woman who was found Fatally Shot last week in the parking lot of a Self-Service Car Wash in the First Block of Filmore Street in Palmyra, New Jersey.



     Antonio Burke, 32, of the 2000 Block of Harbor Drive in Palmyra, New Jersey has been Charged with First Degree Murder; Second Degree Possession of a Handgun for an Unlawful Purpose; Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon; and Third Degree Endangering an Injured Victim.


     Mr. Burke was taken into custody early Monday morning following a traffic stop in Dallas, Texas, where he will face a court appearance today. The criminal complaint against him was signed last week.


     The investigation began on April 18, 2022, at approximately 10:45 p.m., after Members of The Palmyra Police Department responded to The Hot Wet & Wax Car Wash at approximately 10:45 p.m., for a report of an Unconscious Female who was Bleeding.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered the body of Alicia Stilley of Cinnaminson, New Jersey on the ground near her vehicle. An autopsy performed by Burlington County Medical Examiner Dr. Ian Hood concluded that Ms. Stilley succumbed to injuries from a Gunshot Wound to the Chest.


     Detectives continue investigate the motive for the shooting.
