A FATHER AND SON HAVE BEEN ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH APRIL 26th VOORHEES TOWNSHIP, NEW JERSEY BANK ROBBERY

VOORHEES TOWNSHIP, NJ.- Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer and Voorhees Township Police Chief Louis Bordi announced on Monday, June 28, 2021, a Father and Son have been arrested in connection with a Fulton Bank Robbery that occurred on April 26, 2021, in Voorhees Township, New Jersey.
Jermaine Johnson, 43, of Haddonfield, New Jersey was arrested by U.S. Marshals NY/NJ Fugitive Task Force at a residence on the Unit Block of Linden Avenue, on May 18, 2021. Mr. Johnson has been charged with First Degree Robbery and Weapons Offenses. Johnson is currently lodged in The Camden County Jail awaiting trial.
Safeek Johnson, 23, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was arrested Monday, June 28, 2021, by U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, at the intersection of Rockland Road and Old York, in Philadelphia, Pa. Johnson was in Possession of a Handgun at the time of his arrest. He is also charged with First Degree Robbery and Weapons Offenses in connection with the Bank Robbery. Johnson is currently detained in Philadelphia, Pa. pending extradition back to New Jersey.
On April 26, 2021, Police responded to The Fulton Bank on Haddonfield-Berlin Road on a report of an Armed Bank Robbery. The teller told Police a man entered the bank around 11:06 a.m. armed with a Handgun and went into the Vault area. The man then left the bank with a large amount of cash from the Vault.
Surveillance photos showed the man wearing black and white New Balance Sneakers, Black Pants, with two thin, white stripes down the sides, a black camo hoodie, and a tan backpack.
