Paterson Shooting This Afternoon

 SHOOTING IN THE AREA OF EAST 25th STREET AND 14th AVENUE IN PATERSON, NEW JERSEY

     " A 26-Year-Old Man Was Injured This Afternoon In A Drive By Shooting Incident In The Area East 25th Street & 14th Avenue In Paterson, New Jersey."

PATERSON, NJ.- On Tuesday, June 29, 2021, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announced that at approximately 2:35 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, members of The Paterson Police Department responded to the area of East 25th Street and 14th Avenue in Paterson, New Jersey, on a report of shots fired.


     Upon arrival Police Officers located a potential crime scene, but were unable to locate a victim.



     A short time later, members of The Paterson Police Department were advised that a 26-year-old male Paterson resident arrived at Saint Joseph's University Medical Center seeking treatment for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.


     Based on the initial investigation, it was determined that the victim was standing in the area of 25th Street and 14th Avenue, when an unknown gunman shot him from a passing motor vehicle.


     The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released when becomes available.
