51-Year-Old Passaic Man Hospitalized After Being Struck By Gunfire Early Monday Morning In Paterson

PATERSON, NJ.- A 51-year-old Passaic, New Jersey man was hospitalized after being struck by gunfire early yesterday morning on a Paterson, New Jersey street.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Monday, May 27, 2024, at around 1:47 a.m., members of the Paterson Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a shooting in the area of Carroll and Pearl Streets in the City of Paterson.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found evidence of a shooting and a 51-year-old Passaic, New Jersey man who had sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The man was immediately transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center for treatment.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made as authorities continue to search for a suspect.
