PREGNANT WOMAN AND A MAN FOUND IN THE LINDEN HOME DEPOT PARKING LOT AFTER BEING SHOT 

     " Middlesex County Authorities Continue To Investigate A Saturday Afternoon Shooting In Woodbridge That Left 2 Injured."

WOODBRIDGE TOWNSHIP, NJ.- Middlesex County Authorities are continuing their investigation into a Saturday afternoon Shooting in Woodbridge that left a Woman and a Man Suffering from Gunshot Wounds.


     On Saturday, January 14, 2023, at approximately 5:34 p.m., Members of The Woodbridge Police Department responded to the area of South Iman Avenue and Route 1 North on a report of a Shooting involving Two Motor Vehicles. 


     Within minutes Members of The Linden Police Department found two individuals a Pregnant Woman and a Man both having sustained Gunshot Wounds inside a vehicle in the Parking Lot of The Home Depot located on Route 1 North in Linden, New Jersey. Both individuals were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.


     The second vehicle that was Struck by Gunfire was located by Members Of The Woodbridge Township Police Department in The Sansone Toyota Dealership located on Route 1 in Woodbridge, New Jersey. There were no injuries reported with the second vehicle.


     No Arrests have been made and the investigation remains active and ongoing. Camden Double Shooting Investigation

CAMDEN COUNTY AUTHORITIES ARE INVESTIGATING A SATURDAY NIGHT DOUBLE SHOOTING 

     " A Saturday Night Shooting On Saunders Avenue Has Left Eric Cecilia Dead & A 20-Year-Old Man Hospitalized."

CAMDEN, NJ.- On Sunday, January 8, 2023, Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriquez jointly announced that Police are actively investigating a Double Shooting in Camden City that has Claimed the life of a man and has left a second man hospitalized.


     On Saturday, January 7, 2023, at approximately 8:46 p.m., Members of The Camden County Metro Police Department responded to Multiple Shotspotter Activation located on The 3200 Block of Saunders Avenue in The City. 


     Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered two men suffering from Gunshot Wounds. Both men were immediately transported to Cooper University Medical Center where one man, later identified as Eric Cecilia, 33, of Leesburg, New Jersey succumbed to his injuries and was subsequently pronounced deceased at 9:53 p.m. The second man, a 20-Year-Old Camden, New Jersey man remains hospitalized in stable condition.


     No Arrests have been made and the investigation remains active and ongoing. Newark Homicide Investigation

ESSEX COUNTY AUTHORITIES CONTINUE TO INVESTIGATE A EARLY FRIDAY MORNING FATAL SHOOTING

NEWARK, NJ.- Essex County Authorities are continuing to investigate the Fatal Shooting of Khalif McDaniel that occurred early Friday Morning in the area of South Orange Avenue and South 20th Street in Newark, New Jersey.


     On Friday, January 6, 2023, at approximately 12:22 a.m., Members of The Newark Police Department responded to The 500 Block of South Orange Avenue and South 20th Street in Newark on a report of a Shooting.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered a man, later identified as Khalif McDaniel, 33, of Newark suffering from multiple Guns Wounds. Mr. McDaniel was immediately transported to University Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was subsequently pronounced deceased a short time later.

HUDSON COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER SENTENCED TO PRISON FOR SEXUALLY ASSAULTING STUDENTS

JERSEY CITY, NJ.- On Monday, January 9, 2023, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced that on Friday, January 6, 2023, a Hudson County Superior Court Judge Sentenced a Hudson County High School Teacher to New Jersey State Prison for the Sexual Assault of Two Female Students back in 2004 to 2019.



      Francisco Realpe, 46, of Hoboken, New Jersey has been Sentenced to Two Four Year Terms of imprisonment for the Sexual Assaults of Two Seventeen Year Old Female Students. Both Sentences will run concurrently with each other. Mr. Realpe will also be subject to Megan's Law Registration Requirements. He will also be placed on Parole Supervision for Life. 


     The Honorable Carlo Abad ordered Mr. Realpe to Forfeit current and future public employment and placed Two Permanent Restraining Orders against Mr. Realpe.


     In November of 2019, the First Girl reported being Sexually Assaulted while she was a Student and Mr. Realpe was Teacher at Dickinson High School in Jersey City, New Jersey. After Mr. Realpe's Arrest a Second Girl came forward and reported being Sexually Assaulted by Realpe back in 2004 while she Student at Union Hill High School in Union City, New Jersey.

Piscataway Fatal Collision Investigation

MONDAY NIGHT MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH HAS CLAIMED THE LIFE OF A 17 YEAR OLD GIRL

PISCATAWAY, NJ.- A single motor vehicle crash, last night in Piscataway Township, New Jersey has claimed the life of a 17-Year-Old Girl.


     On Monday, January 2, 2023, at approximately 7:41 p.m., Members of The Piscataway Township Police Department responded to the area of South Randolphville Road and Centennial Avenue in The Township on a report of a motor vehicle crash.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a motor vehicle that had overturned after striking a utility pole. The driver of the vehicle, a 17-Year-Old Girl from Piscataway Township was immediately transported to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries and was subsequently pronounced deceased.

Camden Man Charged

CAMDEN CITY MAN CHARGED WITH MANSLAUGHTER IN THE EARLY NEW YEARS MORNING STABBING 

     " Jonathan Flores-Chila Charged In Connection With The Fatal Stabbing Of  A 16-Year-Old Boy During An Altercation Early Sunday Morning."

CAMDEN, NJ.- On Sunday, January 1, 2023, Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez jointly announced that a Camden City, New Jersey man has been Arrested and Charged in the Fatal Stabbing of a 16-Year-Old Boy early yesterday morning.


     On Sunday, January 1, 2023, at approximately 2:54 a.m., Members of The Camden County Police Department responded to The 3000 Block of Mount Ephriam Avenue on a report of a individual being Stabbed.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a 16-Year-Old Boy suffering from apparent Stab Wounds. The Boy was immediately transported to Cooper University Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased a short time later.


     A swift moving investigation by Members of The Camden County Prosecutor's Office Homicide Unit in conjunction with Detectives of The Camden County Police Department were able to identify Jonathan Flores-Chila as the Suspect and the individual responsible for the Death of the Boy.


     As a result of the investigation Mr. Flores-Chila was Arrested and Charged with First Degree Aggravated Manslaughter; Third Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Fourth Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. Upon his release from the hospital Mr. Flores-Chila will be transferred to The Camden County Correctional Facility.

JERSEY CITY, NJ.- Today, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced that Members of The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office Homicide Unit have Arrested a 43-Year-Old Jersey City man in connection with the Fatal Shooting of Khaliq Lockett that occurred on Sunday, December 25, 2022.


     Eddie Webb, 43, of Jersey City, New Jersey has been Charged with First Degree Murder; Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. Mr. Webb was Arrested on Friday, December 30, 2022, at his place of employment.


     Mr. Webb was processed on the Charges and remanded to The Hudson County Correctional Facility pending his First Appearance and Detention Hearing.



     On Sunday, December 25, 2022, at approximately 6:04 p.m., Members of The Jersey City Police Department responded to the area of Communipaw and Crescent Avenues on a report of a man being Shot.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, later identified as Khaliq Lockett, 46, of Jersey City, New Jersey suffering from a Gunshot Wound to his Chest. Mr. Lockett was immediately transported to Jersey City Medical Center where he succumbed to his injury and was subsequently pronounced deceased a short time later.


     A swift moving investigation by Members of The Hudson County Homicide Unit in conjunction with Detectives of The Jersey City Police Department were able to identify Mr. Webb as a Suspect and the individual responsible for The Shooting Death of Mr. Lockett.

Clifton Man Charged In Fatal Stabbing

CLIFTON NEW JERSEY MAN CHARGED IN THE FATAL STABBING OF HIS COUSIN ON NEW YEAR'S EVE

      " Motasem Ramadan Has Been Charged With Murder & Weapons Offenses In The Stabbing Death Of Waleed Ramadan."

CLIFTON, NJ.- On Sunday, January 1, 2023, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Clifton Police Chief Thomas Rinaldi jointly announced that a 25-Year-Old Clifton man has been Charged with Murder and Weapons Offenses in The New Year's Eve Fatal Stabbing of his Cousin.


     On Saturday, December 31, 2022, at approximately 7:30 p.m., Members of The Clifton Police Department responded to a residence located at 25 Van Cleve Avenue in Clifton, New Jersey on a report of an individual Bleeding.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered a man, later identified as Waleed Ramadan, 22, of Clifton lying on the ground suffering from multiple Stab Wounds to his Neck and Face. Mr. Ramadan was immediately transported to Saint Mary's Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was subsequently pronounced deceased a short time later.



     An ensuing investigation by Members of The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office Fatal Investigations Unit in conjunction with Detectives from The Clifton Police Department determined that the Mr. Ramadan's Cousin Motasem Ramadan, 25, of Clifton Stabbed Mr. Ramadan multiple times during an altercation.


     Motasem Ramadan was Arrested after a brief struggle with Police Officers and Charged with First Degree Murder; Third Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; Fourth Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon; Third Degree Resisting Arrest; and Third Degree Assault on a Police Officer.


     Mr. Ramadan was processed on the Charges and remanded to The Passaic County Jail in Paterson, New Jersey pending his First Appearance and Detention Hearing which will be held in Passaic County State Superior Court.


     If Convicted on the Charges Motasem Ramadan will face the potential of Life in New Jersey State Prison.

NEWARK, NJ.- On Sunday, January 1, 2023, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II, announced that Members of The Essex County Prosecutor's Office Homicide/Major Crimes Unit are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the Fatal Shooting of a 45-Year-Old Newark man that occurred yesterday morning, in The City of Newark, New Jersey.


     On Sunday, January 1, 2023, at approximately 7:51 a.m., Members of The Newark Police Department responded to The 100 Block of Rose Terrace in Newark on a report of a potential Shooting.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered a man, later identified as Keith Holland, 45, of Newark, New Jersey unresponsive and having succumbed to multiple Gunshot Wounds. Mr. Holland was pronounced deceased at the scene at 8:14 A.M.

Woman Charged In Mays Landing Murder

MAYS LANDING, NJ.- On Monday, December 26, 2022, Atlantic County Prosecutor William Reynolds announced that a 51-Year-Old Mays Landing woman has been Arrested and Charged in connection with the December 25, 2022, Fatal Shooting of her 57-Year-Old Husband.


     On Sunday, December 25, 2022, at approximately 10:19 p.m., Members of The Hamilton Township Police Department responded to a home located on the 5200 Block of Mays Landing Somers Point Road on a report of an Injured Man.



     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, later identified as David Wigglesworth, 57, unresponsive from an apparent Gunshot Wound. Mr. Wigglesworth was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene. the initial investigation quickly determined that Mr. Wigglesworth's wife, Marylue Wigglesworth was the individual responsible for the Shooting him.


     Ms. Wigglesworth was Arrested and Charged with One Count of First Degree Murder; One Count of Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and One Count of Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. Ms. Wigglesworth was Processed on the Offenses and lodged in The Atlantic County Justice Facility.

VINELAND, NJ.- On Friday, December 23, 2022, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae announced that following an investigation a 28-Year-Old Vineland, New Jersey man has been Charged in connection to the December 20, 2022, Fatal Shooting of a Sewell, New Jersey man.


     On Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at approximately 10:21 p.m., Members of The Vineland Police Department responded to The 400 Block of Landis Avenue on a report of Shots Fired.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers located a man, later identified as Russell Workman, 35, of Sewell, New Jersey deceased at the scene from apparent Gunshot Wounds. 


     A swift moving investigation led by The Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office in conjunction with Detectives of The Vineland Police Department was able to identify Desmond I. Scarborough-Brown, 28, of Vineland as the Shooter and the individual responsible for the Death of Mr. Workman. 


     On Friday, December 23, 2022, Mr. Scarborough-Brown was Arrested and Formally Charged with One Count of First Degree Murder; One Count of Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.


     Mr. Scarborough-Brown was processed on the Charges and remanded to The Cumberland County Department of Corrections pending a Detention Hearing which will be heard in Cumberland County State Superior Court.

     On Sunday, December 25, 2022, at approximately 6:04 p.m., Members of The Jersey City Police Department responded to the area of Communipaw and Crescent Avenues in Jersey City, on a report of a Shooting.

Paterson New Jersey Shooting

21 YEAR OLD PATERSON MAN STRUCK BY GUNFIRE THURSDAY NIGHT 

     "Shooting In The Area Of  Manchester & Crosby Avenues In Paterson, Leaves A 21-Year-Old Paterson Man Hospitalized."

PATERSON, NJ.- On Friday, December 23, 2022, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Acting Paterson Police Chief Bert Ribeiro announced that Detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstance surrounding a Thursday night's Shooting that injured a 21-Year-Old Paterson, New Jersey man.


     On Thursday, December 22, 2022, at approximately 9:40 p.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to the area of North 3rd and Jefferson Streets in Paterson on a report of a Shooting. 


     Upon arrival, Police Officers located a 21-Year-Old Paterson man who had sustained a Non-Life Threatening Gunshot Wound. The man was immediately transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.


     Based upon the initial investigation, Police Officers determined that the Shooting occurred in the area of Manchester and Crosby Avenues in Paterson, New Jersey. Upon further investigation Police Officers located a Crime Scene in that area.

NEW YORK MAN CHARGED FOR THE MURDER OF HIS MOTHER

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ.- On Friday, December 23, 2022, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and East Brunswick Police Chief Frank LoSacco jointly announced that Middlesex County Authorities are continuing their investigation into the Death of a East Brunswick, New Jersey Woman.


     On Thursday, December 22, 2022, at approximately 11:09 a.m., Members of The East Brunswick Police Department responded to a residence located on Cozzens Court in response to numerous 911 Emergency Calls requesting Welfare Checks on a 68-Year-Old woman.


     Upon arrival, and after numerous attempts Police Officers located Carmen Gordon, 68, unresponsive inside her residence having succumbed to Fatal Injuries. Ms. Gordon was subsequently pronounced deceased at the Scene.


     A swift moving investigation by Members of The Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office in conjunction with The East Brunswick Police Department were able to determine that the Death was not a random act of violence and were able to identify Ms. Gordon's son, Jason Gordon, 41, of New York as a Suspect and the individual responsible for the Death of Ms. Gordon.


     On Friday, December 23, 2022, Mr. Gordon was Charged with One Count of First Degree Murder; Third Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Fourth Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.

UNION CITY, NJ.- On Friday, December 23, 2022, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced that Three Teens have been Arrested and Charged in connection with Tuesday's Double Stabbing that Claimed the Life of Allen Flores, 15, and has left a 16-Year-Old Teen hospitalized in Serious Condition in Union City, New Jersey.


     On Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at approximately 6:24 p.m., Members of The Union City Police Department responded to the area of 40th Street and New York Avenue on a report of an altercation with injuries.


     Upon arrival to the area, Police Officers located Two Male Teens at 40th Street and Bergenline Avenue suffering from apparent Stab Wounds. One Teen, later identified as Allen Flores, 15, of Union City, New Jersey was immediately transported to Christ Hospital in Jersey City where he succumbed to his injury and was subsequently pronounced deceased. The Second Teen was transported to Jersey City Medical Center where he remains hospitalized in Serious Condition.


     A swift moving investigation by Detectives of The Hudson County Homicide Task Force quickly determined that Five Teens had become involved in an altercation that involved Narcotics prior to the Two Teens being Stabbed. Detectives were further able to identify Three Teen  Suspects responsible for the Stabbing.


     As a result a 16-Year-Old Union City Boy was Arrested and Charged as a Juvenile with Fourth Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon; Third Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Second Degree Possession of a Weapon While Committing a Controlled Dangerous Substance Offense. 


     A 15-Year-Old Jersey City Girl and a 15-Year-Old Jersey City Boy have each been Charged with First Degree Armed Robbery; First Degree Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery; Third Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Fourth Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.

HAMILTON, NJ.- On Wednesday, December 21, 2022, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri announced that following an investigation a 39-Year-Old Mercerville Fifth Grade Teacher has been Arrested and Charged with Child Endangerment.



     Jennifer Debiec, 39, of Bordentown, New Jersey was Arrested on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 by Members of The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit and Charged with Second Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child.


     Ms. Debiec is Accused of providing a 13-Year-Old Boy with Vodka, Vape Pens, and THC Drops for approximately Two and a Half Years.

ELIZABETH, NJ.- The owner of Hundreds of Rental Units scattered throughout Eighteen Properties within The City of Elizabeth that Prayed upon people's Misfortunes and Financial Hardships for his own Sexual Satisfaction has been formally Charged in a 42-Count Indictment.


     On Wednesday, December 21, 2022, Union County Prosecutor William A. Daniel, Elizabeth Police Director Earl Graves, and Elizabeth Police Chief Giacomo Sacca jointly announced that last Thursday, a Grand Jury sitting in Union County, New Jersey returned an Indictment against Elizabeth Landlord Joseph Centanni who was originally Arrested in June of 2021 for committing Sexual Offenses upon 30 Tenants during the course of 7 Years.



     The Grand Jury returned the Indictment, Charging Joseph Centanni, 75, of Mountainside, New Jersey with Twenty Three Counts of Second Degree Sexual Assault; and Nineteen Counts of Fourth Degree Criminal Sexual Contact. The Alleged Crimes took place at various times from 2013 through 2020, upon both Male and Female Victims ranging in age from 22 to 61.


     Following a long term investigation initiated by a referral from The Elizabeth Police Department and led by Members of The Union County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit, determined that Mr. Centanni targeted Tenants or Prospective Tenants who were Homeless, about to be Evicted, or who otherwise were Struggling Financially, according to Union County Authorities.


     Mr. Centanni allegedly Solicited Sexual Acts from his Victims as a Quid Pro Quo, agreeing to offer them Rent Reductions, a Delay in Eviction Proceedings, or other forms of Financial Assistance in Exchange. Centanni also Threatened Tenants who hesitated or refused his advances with Eviction or Various other Retaliatory Measures.


     Due to the Nature of the Charges, the Number of Victims, and the Time Span that the Alleged Offenses took place, if Convicted Mr. Centanni faces the Potential of Spending the rest of his Life in New Jersey State Prison.

Jersey City New Jersey Stabbing

UNION CITY, NJ.- In another instance of senseless violence, Two Union City Teens were Stabbed, leaving one dead and another hospitalized.


     On Wednesday, December 21, 2022, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced that Detectives from The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office and Members of The Union City Police Department are actively investigating Tuesday Night's Double Stabbing that has claimed the life of a 15-Year-Old Union City Teen and has left a 16-Year-Old Union City Teen Hospitalized.


     On Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at approximately 6:24 p.m., Members of The Union City Police Department responded to the area of 40th Street and New York Avenue on a report of a Stabbing.


     Upon arrival to the area, Police Officers found two teens on 40th Street and Bergenline Avenue suffering from apparent Stab Wounds. Stratford New Jersey Man Charged

STRATFORD MAN CHARGED WITH SEXUAL ASSAULT AND DRUG OFFENSES

STRATFORD, NJ.- On Tuesday, December 20, 2022, Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay announced that a Stratford, New Jersey man has been Charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault and Multiple Narcotics Offenses.


     On July 20, 2022, Members of The Stratford Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call from a Woman who reported being Drugged and Sexually Assault at a residence on Warwick Road in Stratford.



     During the investigation by Members of The Camden Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit in conjunction with Detectives from The Stratford Police Department quickly determined that the Woman met Joshua Clark, 40, on a Social Media Dating App. While on a date at the residence of Mr. Clark, the Woman reported consuming a Drink that Mr. Clark prepared, causing her to lose consciousness, at which time Mr. Clark Sexually Assaulted her.


     Further, a Court Authorized Search Warrant was Executed earlier this month at Mr. Clark's home. During the Search, Detectives discovered One Half Ounce of Methamphetamine, One Bottle of Liquid Ketamine, and Assorted Drug Paraphernalia.


     As a result of the investigation Mr. Clark was formally Charged with One Count of First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault; Third Degree Tampering with a Food Product; Third Degree Possession of Methamphetamine; Second Degree Possession with an Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine; Third Degree Possession of Ketamine; and Third Degree Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine within 1000 Feet of School Property.


     Mr. Clark was processed on The Charges and remanded to The Camden County Correctional Facility pending a Detention Hearing.

PATERSON, NJ.- On Saturday, December 17, 2022, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Acting Paterson Police Chief Bert Ribeiro announced that Detectives are continuing their investigation into a Friday night Shooting that left a 17-Year-Old hospitalized.


     On Friday, December 16, 2022, at approximately 10:44 p.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Keen and Mercer Streets in Paterson, on a report of Shots Fired. Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered a Crime Scene but no victim was located. A short time later Police Officers located a 17-Year-Old Juvenile who had sustained a Non-Life Threatening Gunshot Wound.


     The teen was immediately transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center for Treatment.


     No Arrests have been made. The investigation remains active and ongoing. Jefferson New Jersey Man Sentenced To Prison

FORMER ACTING NEWARK POLICE LIEUTENANT SENTENCED TO 79 YEARS IN PRISON FOR A 2019 MURDER

MORRISTOWN, NJ.- On Monday, December 19, 2022, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll announced that John Formisano, 52, formerly of Jefferson Township, New Jersey has been Sentenced to New Jersey State Prison to a term of 79-Years for the July 14, 2022 Double Shooting, that left a woman Dead and Injured another.



     On October 3, 2022, a Jury sitting in Morris County, New Jersey returned Guilty Verdict against John Formisano on the Charges of First Degree Murder; First Degree Attempted Murder; Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon; Second Degree Official Misconduct; Two Counts of Second Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; and Third Degree Hindering Apprehension or Prosecution.


     Today, in Morris County State Superior Court, The Honorable Michael C. Gaus imposed an Aggregate Sentence of 79-Years in New Jersey State Prison. The First 65-Years are subject to The No Early Release Act, which will require Mr. Formisano to Serve 85% of the 65-Years before becoming Eligible for Parole. Judge Gaus imposed a Consecutive Sentence of 14-Years on the other Charges.


     On July 14, 2022, at approximately 11:21 p.m., Members of The Jefferson Township Police Department responded to a residence on Mirror Place in the Township on a report of Shots Fired.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a deceased woman, later identified as Christie Formisano, 37, of Jefferson Township, New Jersey, lying on the front porch. Police Officers discovered a second victim a 40-Year-Old man inside the residence suffering from Multiple Gunshot Wounds. The man was transported to a nearby hospital and has made a full recovery. Police Officers also found Two Minor Children inside the residence,


     On July 15, 2022, at approximately 2:00 a.m., Mr. Formisano was located in Livingston, New Jersey and taken into custody by Law Enforcement Officials. The Gun used in the Shootings was found inside the Trunk of the vehicle Formisano was driving.


     Although Mr. Formisano was a Member of The Newark Police Department, he was Off-Duty at the time of the Shootings.
