NEW YORK MAN CHARGED FOR THE MURDER OF HIS MOTHER
" Jason Gordon Has Been Charged In Connection With The Murder Of His 68-Year-Old Mother At Her East Brunswick, New Jersey Home."

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ.- On Friday, December 23, 2022, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and East Brunswick Police Chief Frank LoSacco jointly announced that Middlesex County Authorities are continuing their investigation into the Death of a East Brunswick, New Jersey Woman.
On Thursday, December 22, 2022, at approximately 11:09 a.m., Members of The East Brunswick Police Department responded to a residence located on Cozzens Court in response to numerous 911 Emergency Calls requesting Welfare Checks on a 68-Year-Old woman.
Upon arrival, and after numerous attempts Police Officers located Carmen Gordon, 68, unresponsive inside her residence having succumbed to Fatal Injuries. Ms. Gordon was subsequently pronounced deceased at the Scene.
A swift moving investigation by Members of The Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office in conjunction with The East Brunswick Police Department were able to determine that the Death was not a random act of violence and were able to identify Ms. Gordon's son, Jason Gordon, 41, of New York as a Suspect and the individual responsible for the Death of Ms. Gordon.
On Friday, December 23, 2022, Mr. Gordon was Charged with One Count of First Degree Murder; Third Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Fourth Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.
