3 UNION CITY TEENS CHARGED IN CONNECTION TO TUESDAY'S FATAL STABBING

UNION CITY, NJ.- On Friday, December 23, 2022, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced that Three Teens have been Arrested and Charged in connection with Tuesday's Double Stabbing that Claimed the Life of Allen Flores, 15, and has left a 16-Year-Old Teen hospitalized in Serious Condition in Union City, New Jersey.
On Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at approximately 6:24 p.m., Members of The Union City Police Department responded to the area of 40th Street and New York Avenue on a report of an altercation with injuries.
Upon arrival to the area, Police Officers located Two Male Teens at 40th Street and Bergenline Avenue suffering from apparent Stab Wounds. One Teen, later identified as Allen Flores, 15, of Union City, New Jersey was immediately transported to Christ Hospital in Jersey City where he succumbed to his injury and was subsequently pronounced deceased. The Second Teen was transported to Jersey City Medical Center where he remains hospitalized in Serious Condition.
A swift moving investigation by Detectives of The Hudson County Homicide Task Force quickly determined that Five Teens had become involved in an altercation that involved Narcotics prior to the Two Teens being Stabbed. Detectives were further able to identify Three Teen Suspects responsible for the Stabbing.
As a result a 16-Year-Old Union City Boy was Arrested and Charged as a Juvenile with Fourth Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon; Third Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Second Degree Possession of a Weapon While Committing a Controlled Dangerous Substance Offense.
A 15-Year-Old Jersey City Girl and a 15-Year-Old Jersey City Boy have each been Charged with First Degree Armed Robbery; First Degree Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery; Third Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Fourth Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.
