NORTH BERGEN, NJ.- Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez reported that on Wednesday, June 29, 2023, Members of The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit Arrested and Charged a 22-Year-Old West New York, New Jersey man in connection with the June 4, 2023, Sexual Assault of a 22-Year-Old woman at a North Bergen Motel. The man and the woman had met through an acquaintance hours before the Alleged Assault.

     Emil Figueroa-Blanco, 22, of West New York was Charged on Wednesday, June 29, 2023, with One Count of First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault. Mr. Figueroa-Blanco was Arrested at The Hudson County Correctional Facility where he is held on an unrelated matter. Figueroa-Blanco will remain in Custody pending a Pretrial Detention Motion.
