BRIDGETON, NJ.- Cumberland County Authorities have Charged a 16-Year-Old Bridgeton, New Jersey Boy for The Senseless Shooting Death of a 16-Year-Old Millville, New Jersey Boy, that occurred last Sunday Night in Bridgeton, New Jersey.
On Sunday, June 25, 2023, at approximately 8:50 p.m., Members of The Bridgeton Police Department responded to Mount Vernon Street on a report that an individual had been Shot. Upon arrival, Police Officers found a 16-Year-Old Millville Boy deceased from an apparent Gunshot Wound, according to Police.
A Swift-Moving Investigation by Detectives of The Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office in conjunction with The Bridgeton Police Department led to the Teen being identified as the Suspect and the individual responsible for The Shooting Death of The Teen.
Accordingly, On Friday, June 30, 2023, Members of The Bridgeton Police Department Arrested the Juvenile and Formally Charged him First Degree Murder; First Degree Conspiracy To Commit Murder; First Degree Destruction of Evidence; Third Degree Hindering Apprehension; and Obstruction of the Administration of Law.
The Teen is currently being Detained on The Charges and The Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office will File A Motion to have the Teen Detained pending the outcome of The Charges Against him.
