PATERSON, NJ.- On Monday, November 7, 2022, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, Acting Paterson Police Chief Bert Ribeiro, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Farge, and Newark Police Chief Emanuel Miranda announced that following an investigation by The Paterson Police Department into an early Sunday morning Shooting in Paterson, New Jersey, Two Sisters have been Arrested and Charged.

     Abriyah Griffin, 25, of Newark, New Jersey and Lakenya Griffin of Minersville, Pennsylvania were taken into custody in connection to a Shooting that occurred at early Sunday morning in the area of Wait and Wood Streets in Paterson, New Jersey.

     On Sunday, November 6, 2022, at approximately 3:41 a.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department were notified of a Shooting that had occurred earlier in the evening in the area of Wait and Wood Streets in Paterson. Shortly thereafter, Paterson Police were notified by Members of The Newark Police Department that Abriyah Griffin and Lakenya Griffin had been detained in the area of Seymour Avenue and West Runyon Street in Newark, New Jersey following a motor vehicle stop.

     Based on the investigation, Paterson Police Officers determined that, after a verbal dispute in the area of Wait and Wood Streets, in Paterson. Abriyah handed Lakenya a Handgun, and instructed her to Shoot the victim, a 31-Year-Old Paterson woman. Lakenya fired the gun in the direction of the woman, who was not struck by gunfire. Following the Shooting, the Paterson woman fled in a vehicle and Abriyah and Lakenya followed her in another vehicle until they were stopped in Newark by Police.

     Abriyah Griffin and Lakenya Griffin have both been Charged with First Degree Attempted Murder; Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon; Abriyah has also been Charged with Third Degree Terroristic Threats.

     The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office has Filed a Pretrial Detention Motion to have both Abriyah and Lakenya detained pending the outcome of a trial.

FREEHOLD, NJ.- Today, Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago announced, A Jury sitting in Monmouth County, New Jersey has returned Guilty Verdicts against an Asbury Park man for Sexually Assaulting Two Siblings multiple times over Five Year Period.

     At the conclusion of a weeklong Trial before Monmouth County Superior Court Judge Jill G. O'Malley, Walter Orlando Perez-Ramos, 35, of Asbury Park was convicted on Friday, November 4, 2022, on Two Counts of Second Degree Sexual Assault; Two Counts of Third Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; and One Count of Fourth Degree Criminal Sexual Contact.

     The convictions stem from an initial report received by The Asbury Park Police Department. On Monday, May 3, 2021, Members of The asbury Police Department received information regarding the Sexual Abuse of 2 Children, Ages 16 and 17 at the time of the report.

     A joint investigation by Members of The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Bureau in conjunction with Detectives from The Asbury Park Police Department uncovered that the Abuse had involved dozens of times and on various dates beginning in May of 2015 and continuing until May of 2020, each involving inappropriate touching. At the conclusion Mr. Perez-Ramos was Arrested in May of 2021 and has remained in custody at The Monmouth County Correctional Institution in Freehold, New Jersey.

     During the trial both victims testified. Sentencing has been scheduled for Friday, March 31, 2023, at which time Mr. Perez-Ramos will face a Term of 21 Years and 6 Months in New Jersey State Prison.

     "This family repeatedly welcomed the defendant into their home as a trusted friend, and he repaid that trust with betrayal, by robbing the two victims of what should have been a normal, happy, fruitful adolescence," Acting Prosecutor Santiago said. " They can never get those years back, but thanks to this verdict, we can at least ensure that justice is served and their healing process can begin."

School Bus Driver Charged

WOODLAND PARK, NJ.- On Saturday, November 5, 2022, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Passaic County Sheriff Richard Berdnik announced that following an investigation conducted by Members Of The Passaic County Sheriff's Department. Juan Gonzalez, 51, of Paterson, New Jersey has been Arrested and Charged following a Crash that he was involved in while a Driving School Bus Under the Influence of a Substance.

     Mr. Gonzalez has been Charged with Forty Two Counts of Second Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; and Two Motor Vehicle Offenses; Driving Under the Influence; and Leaving the Scene of an Accident. Mr. Gonzalez was Processed on the Charges and Remanded to The Passaic County Jail. On Saturday, November 5, 2022, Mr. Gonzalez made his First Appearance in Passaic County Central Judicial Processing Court and was released on Pretrial Monitoring Conditions. Gonzalez has been scheduled for a December 1, 2022 Court Appearance.

     On Friday, November 4, 2022, at approximately 8:45 a.m., Members of The Passaic County Sheriff's Department were advised about a possible Hit And Run Accident involving a School Bus transporting High School Students to Passaic County Technical Institute located in Wayne, New Jersey. 

     Based upon the investigation, the School Bus collided with a Parked Vehicle in the area of McBride Avenue and Squirrelwood Road in Woodland Park, New Jersey. Passaic County Authorities report that no Students were injured in the collision and that Mr. Gonzalez was operating the School Bus Under the Influence of an Intoxicating Substance. 

     If Convicted, Mr. Gonzalez will face a term of Five to Ten Years in New Jersey State Prison on each of the counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and for Driving Under the Influence and Leaving the Scene of an Accident both carry a term of 30 Days in The Passaic County Jail.

JERSEY CITY, NJ.- On Friday, November 4, 2022, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced that on Thursday, November 3, 2022, Members of The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit Arrested a 62-Year-Old Music Teacher for Sexually Assaulting a male student over the past four years.

     David Musial, 62, of Jersey City, New Jersey has been Charged with First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault; Second Degree Sexual Assault; Third Degree Aggravated Criminal Sexual Contact; Fourth Degree Criminal Sexual Contact; and Fourth Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

     Mr. Musial was Arrested at The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office in Secaucus, New Jersey and remanded to The Hudson County Jail Correctional Facility in Kearny, New Jersey. The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office intends to File a Pretrial Detention Motion to have Mr. Musial Detained pending the resolution of the Charges filed against him. The motion will be heard on Thursday, November 10, 2022 in Hudson County State Superior Court.

     It has been alleged that Mr. Musial had Sexually Assaulted the Boy between 2018 to 2022, when the Child was between the Ages of 14 and 18 in Mr. Musial's Music Studio located on River Drive South in Jersey City.

Fugitive In Plainfield Murder Captured

AFTER BEING ON THE RUN FOR 19 YEARS PLAINFIELD MAN APPREHENDED IN GUATEMALA

     " Fausto Ramiro Santos-Carillo Wanted For The 2003 Murder Of Martha Morales Was Located & Taken Into Custody In Guatemala City."

PLAINFIELD, NJ.- On Friday, November 4, 2022, Union County Prosecutor William A. Daniel announced that at the end of a long and exhausted investigation and manhunt a Fugitive wanted in connection with a Fatal Stabbing that took place in Plainfield, New Jersey in 2003 has been located and taken into custody in Guatemala.

     On March 21, 2022, Members of The United States Marshals Service took Fausto Ramiro Santos-Carillo, 56, of Plainfield, New Jersey into custody in Guatemala, where he was being held prior to being Extradited back to New Jersey in the pre-dawn hours on Friday.

     Mr. Santos-Carillo is Charged with One Count of First Degree Murder; One Count of Third Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and One Count of Fourth Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon in connection with The Fatal Stabbing of Martha Morales, 49, of Plainfield, New Jersey.

     On July 23, 2003, Members of The Plainfield Police Department responded to a residence located on The 600 Block of East Third Street on a report of a Woman being found Fatally Stabbed. Upon arrival, Police Officers found Martha Morales, 49, deceased from Multiple Stab wounds. The ensuing investigation by Detectives from The Union County Prosecutor's Office Homicide Task Force in conjunction with Detectives from The Plainfield Police Department were able to identify Mr. Santos-Carillo as a Suspect and the individual responsible for the Stabbing Death of Ms. Morales. Shortly after the Murder Mr. Santos-Carillo fled the area to avoid prosecution.

     In February of 2018, Members of The Union County Homicide Task Force received credible information regarding Mr. Santos-Carillo's Whereabouts, and eventual capture in Guatemala City, Guatemala.

     " I want to commend the fortitude and dedication exhibited by the investigators who have worked tirelessly on this case these past several years, during a time that presented so many other unique challenges," Prosecutor Daniel said. " Thanks to their efforts, we have moved closer to bringing Fausto Carillo to justice for his role in the murder of Ms. Morales."

     " Fausto Carillo chose to avoid capture by hiding abroad. He believed distance was his sanctuary," said Juan Mattos, U.S. Marshal for the District of New Jersey. " The U.S. Marshals Service has an extended reach and partnerships throughout the world. Thanks to the steadfast commitment of the Union County Prosecutor's Office Homicide Task Force, U.S. Marshals, and our law enforcement partners throughout Central America, capturing this most wanted fugitive has brought us one step closer to justice and closure the victim and their family."

     If convicted of the Charges, Mr. Santos-Carillo will face the potential of spending the rest of his life in New Jersey State Prison.

HOBOKEN, NJ.- Today, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced that on Thursday, November 3, 2022, The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office Specials Victims Unit Arrested Kenny Arceda, 23, of Jersey City, New Jersey for The Sexual Assault of a woman in Hoboken. The alleged crime occurred in the early morning hours of August 4, 2022 in the vestibule of a building located on The 100 Block of Washington Street in The City. 

     The 20-Year-Old woman was an acquaintance of Mr. Arceda, whom she had previously met in a Bar in Hoboken.

     Mr. Arceda, has been Charged with One Count of Second Degree Sexual Assault. Arceda was Arrested and taken into custody in West Orange, New Jersey. Following his Arrest Mr. Arceda was transported to The Hudson County Correctional Facility, pending his First appearance in The Hudson County Central Judicial Processing Court.

     The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office has filed a Pretrial Detention Motion which has been scheduled for Thursday, November 10, 2022.

House Republicans Release Report

U.S. HOUSE REPUBLICANS RELEASE 1050 PAGE REPORT ABOUT THE FBI'S ABUSES AND POLITICIZATION OF THE DOJ 

     " Report States That The Bureau Is Rotten At Its Core, Republicans Detail Misconduct."

WASHINGTON, DC.- The U.S. House Republicans released a report today that detailed whistleblowers accusations of FBI Misconduct and Politicization at top levels of The Department of Justice.

     " The Federal Bureau of Investigation, under the stewardship of Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland, is broken," the report states. " The problem lies not with the majority of front-line agents who serve our country, but with the FBI's Politicized Bureaucracy."

     The Republicans on The U.S. House Judiciary Committee say the report is "the first comprehensive accounting of The FBI's problems to date, which undermines The FBI's Fundamental Law Enforcement Mission."

     The report highlights testimony from whistleblowers who describe The FBI's Leadership in Washington, D.C., as " Rotted At Its Core." The whistleblowers allege a "systemic culture of unaccountability" and say the Bureau is plagued by rampant corruption, manipulation, and abuse. Predominantly, the report alleges systemic Political Bias Against Conservatives.

     Some of the allegations had been previously released, such as accusations that The FBI is artificially inflating statistics relating to domestic violent extremism to fit The White House's narrative on supposed dangers to democracy, or that counterterrorism authorities were instructed to target and investigate parents who spoke out at school board meetings across the country.

     Other allegations recommend that The FBI is actively trying to weed out employees with conservative views and others who dissent from " Woke" diversity, inclusion, and inclusion initiatives. 

     Furthermore, whistleblowers say The FBI's " political meddling" "is dragging the criminal side of The Bureau down" as resources are being pulled away from investigating crimes. One of the whistleblowers said he was " told that child sexual abuse material investigation were no longer on The FBI's Priority List, and should be referred to Local Law Enforcement Agencies.

     U.S. House Judiciary Committee ranking Member Representative Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) has spoken about many of the allegations for months. Jordan and Senate Judiciary Committee ranking Member Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) have sent letters to The Justice Department and FBI Leadership demanding answer on the whistleblowers allegations that they had received, the majority of the letters went unanswered.

     " Americans deserve to have confidence that the enormous power and reach of federal law enforcement will be used fairly and free of any indication of politicization. The FBI has the power, quite literally, to ruin a person's life, to invade their residence, to take their property, and even to deprive them of their liberty," the report stated.

     " The potential abuse of this power, or even the appearance of abuse, erodes the fundamental principle of equity under the law and confidence in the rule of law. The FBI's tremendous power is precisely why the people's elected representatives in Congress must conduct vigorous oversight, particularly in light of allegations of abuse and misconduct made to date."

MAYS LANDING, NJ.- The Atlantic Prosecutor's Office has partnered with three local school districts and the districts local Police Departments to increase awareness and provide learning resources for Law Enforcement on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, (I/DD) in The Atlantic County Area. There will be two sessions of this program which began last month and will continue in March, 2023.

     The districts will be Brigantine, Northfield, and Egg Harbor City. Each week an Officer from each of The Police Departments will partner with a Special Education Class to help teach young students that have an intellectual disability.

     The School Districts have provided curriculum that focuses positive interactions within the school and community, positive communication skills, anti-bullying, mindfulness, and self-regulation abilities.

     The Goals of this program are; To inform Law Enforcement about school aged children with intellectual disabilities; To provide resources and tools that increase knowledge and skills in interactions with The I/DD Community; To foster positive and open lines of communication and healthy relationships between I/DD Students and Law Enforcement Communities; Reduce bias and increase awareness about The Special Needs Community.

     The program will consist of one 45 minute session for 6 weeks for students in grades 5 through 8, with a capacity of 10 to 15 students per class. Upon completion a Certificate will be provided to each student and a trip to the local Police Department to have lunch with the Chief of Police and a tour of The Police Department.

WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ.- On Thursday, November 3, 2022, Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago announced a Toms River man has been Arrested and Charged with setting a Fire that destroyed six commercial vehicles at a Wall Township, New Jersey Business.

     Harcourt "Paul" S. Harcourt, 69, of Toms River, New Jersey, has been Charged with Four Counts of Second Degree Arson.

     On Monday, September 26, 2022, at approximately 10:11 p.m., Members of The Wall Township Police Department responded to a business located on The 1900 Block of Atlantic Avenue on a report of a Fire. Upon arrival, Police Officers and The Monmouth County Fire Marshal's Office discovered Six Vehicles fully engulfed in flames.

     An ensuing investigation determined that Mr. Ward of Ward Realty and Insurance in Point Pleasant, New Jersey was the person responsible for setting the Fire. The estimated cost of the damage by the Fire exceeded $1 Million.

Ex Councilman Indicted

BELVIDERE, NJ.- On Tuesday, November 2, 2022, Warren County First Assistant Prosecutor Anthony J. Robinson announced that on Tuesday a Grand Jury sitting in Warren County, New Jersey has returned an Indictment against Robert J. Fulper Charging him with Second Degree Official Misconduct; and Second Degree Trafficking in Personal Identifying Information.

     An investigation conducted by Members of The Warren County Prosecutor's Office determined that Mr. Fulper was in Possession of Numerous Documents containing the Personal Information of former employees of The Town of Phillipsburg.

     The Documents contained Social Security Numbers, Bank Account Information, Passport Information, Dates of Birth, and Drivers License Numbers of seven individuals who worked for The Town of Phillipsburg between 2018 and 2021. Through statements of the individuals, the investigation further determined that none of the individuals had authorized Mr. Fulper to have the information. Further interviews with various town employees revealed that Mr. Fulper had no reason to have the information.

     Mr. Fulper had been a Town Councilman between the years of 2018 and 2021. 

     If convicted on the Charges Mr. Fulper could face the potential of Ten Years in New Jersey State Prison.

Millville New Jersey Man Charged

MILLVILLE MAN HAS BEEN CHARGED AND WANTED FOR THE SHOOTING DEATH OF A WOMAN

                      Edwin D. Ramos-Rosado Has Been Taken Into Custody.

MILLVILLE, NJ.- On Wednesday, November 2, 2022, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae announced that at approximately 4:24 p.m. yesterday, Members of The Millville Police Department and Members of The Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit responded to a residence located on The 400 Block of North 4th Street in Millville, New Jersey on a report of Gunfire.

     Upon arrival, Police Officers located a woman, later identified as Ramy Garcia, 35, of Millville suffering from a Gunshot Wound. Ms Garcia succumbed to her injury and was subsequently pronounced deceased.

     The ensuing investigation determined that Mr. Ramos-Rosado was identified as the suspect and responsible for the Death of Ms. Garcia. Mr. Ramos-Rosado was subsequently Charged with One Count of First Degree Murder; Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Third Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.

     Mr. Ramos-Rosado remains at Large at this time and should be considered Armed And Dangerous, Ramos-Rosado should not be approached, if seen please call 911. Mr. Ramos-Rosado is approximately 5' 11" in Height, has Black Hair and Brown Eyes, and is approximately 160 Pounds. Ramos-Rosado was last seen travelling in a Silver Mercedes with NJ License Plate M71PTX.

Firefighter Charged With Arson

     " Shannon Muller Charged With Third Degree Arson In Connection With Starting A Brush Fire In The Woods Behind The Warrens Way Development."

WANAQUE, NJ.- On Wednesday, November 2, 2022, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Wanaque Police Chief Robert Kronyak announce following an investigation by Members of The Wanaque Police Department, Shannon B. Muller, 40, of Wanaque, New Jersey has been Arrested and Charged with starting a Fire on Monday, October 31, 2022 in a wooded area behind The Warrens Way Housing Complex.

     Mr. Muller has been Charged with One Count of Third Degree Arson. Muller was processed on the Charge and remanded to The Passaic County Jail. On Tuesday, November 1, 2022, Mr. Muller appeared before The Honorable Vincenzo Stampone and was released on Pretrial Conditions. Muller was scheduled to appear in Passaic County State Superior Court on November 29, 2022.

     On Monday, October 31, 2022, at approximately 8:58 a.m., a Member of The Wanaque Police Department observed Mr. Muller lighting a piece of paper with a match and placing the burning paper in the brush behind the Warrens Way Housing Complex in Wanaque, New Jersey, causing the brush to ignite and start to spread. 

     Mr. Muller fled the scene as the fire continued to burn but was apprehended before he was able to leave the woods. Based on the observation by the Police Officer, Muller was taken into custody and subsequently Charged.

     The investigation further revealed that Mr. Muller was identified as a Volunteer Firefighter with The Wanaque Volunteer Fire Department.

ATLANTIC COUNTY JURY CONVICTS MAN IN THE 2014 STRANGULATION DEATH OF A WOMAN

MAYS LANDING, NJ.- On Tuesday, November 2, 2022, Atlantic County Prosecutor William Reynolds announced following a two and a half week Trial, a Jury sitting in Atlantic County has Convicted Timothy Wright, 42, of Mays Landing, New Jersey on First Degree Murder.

     Mr. Wright was Charged with The Strangulation Death of Joyce Vanderhoff, 25, of Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey on February 14, 2014. Ms. Vanderhoff's naked body was found in Hamilton Township the following day.

     Although it took almost five years, Mr. Wright was Arrested in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania where he had been residing at the time of his Arrest. 

     Sentencing in the matter has been scheduled for December 16, 2022, where Mr. Wright will face a minimum of 3o-Years to Life in New Jersey State Prison, with a 30-Year term of service before becoming eligible for Parole.

North Korean Missile Launch

WASHINGTON, DC.- Residents of a South Korean Island scrambled and fled into underground shelters after North Korea fired 23 Missiles Wednesday, with at least one of the missiles landing near the rival Nations Sea Border. South Korea quickly responded by launching their own missiles in the same border area, raising the bar for a potential military escalation between the two countries.

     The missile launch came just hours after North Korea threatened to use Nuclear Weapons to get The U.S. and South Korea to " Pay The Most Horrible Price In History," for the ongoing military drills that The U.S. and South Korea is conducting. North Korea views the military drills as an invasion rehearsal. The White House responded by saying The U.S. has no hostile intent towards North Korea and has vowed to work with allies to curb North Korea's nuclear ambitions.

     A spokesperson for The South Korean Military said, North Korea launched at least 23 Missiles, 17 in the morning and 6 in the afternoon off of its Eastern and Western Coasts on Wednesday. It was further stated that the weapons were all short range ballistic missiles or suspected surface-to-air-missiles. Also on Wednesday, North Korea fired around 100 artillery shells into The Eastern Maritime Buffer Zone that the North and South created in 2018 to ease tensions between the two rival Nations.

     The 23 launches, represent a one day record for weapons tests by The North Korean Military. 

     One of the ballistic missiles was heading towards South Korea's Ulleung Island before it landed 16 miles Northwest of the Island. Officials with The South Korean Military issued an Air-Raid Alert on the Island, according to South Korea's Joint Chief of Staff. South Korean Media Outlets published photos of Island residents moving into underground shelters.

     A couple hours later, The South Korean Military said it lifted the alert. The Transportation Ministry said it was closing some air routes above South Korea's Eastern Water until Thursday morning.

     This is the first time that a North Korean Missile had landed that close to the Sea Border since the Country was politically divided in 1948.

     Later Wednesday, in response to the North's actions, South Korean fighter jets launched Three air-to-surface, precision guided missiles near the Eastern Border.

     In 2010, North Korea shelled a front line South Korean Island of The Country's Western Coast, killing four people. But those weapons used were artillery shells, not ballistic missiles, that launches or tests of ballistic missiles are banned by multiple Unite Nations Security Council Resolutions.

Forked River Man Charged

FORKED RIVER MAN CHARGED IN CONNECTION WITH THE MURDER OF HIS WIFE

OCEAN TOWNSHIP, NJ.- On Monday, October 31, 2022, Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago announced that a Forked River, New Jersey man has been Arrested and Charged with the Death of his Wife and for leaving her body alongside a roadway in Ocean Township, New Jersey.

     Jeremy B. Cruz, 51, of Forked River, New Jersey has been Charged with First Degree Murder in connection with the Death of 51-Year-Old Dawn Cruz.

     On Sunday, October 30, 2022, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Members of The Ocean Township Police Department responded to the area of Asbury and Colonial Avenues following a report from a concerned motorist, that a woman had sustained serious injuries. Upon arrival, Police Officers located a woman, later identified as Dawn Cruz who had succumbed to her injuries. Ms. Cruz was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene.

     During the preliminary investigation, the woman's husband Jeremy B. Cruz turned himself into The Berkeley Township Police Department in Ocean County.

     The joint investigation by Monmouth and Ocean County Authorities resulted in Mr. Cruz being Charged with First Degree Murder. Mr. Cruz was processed on the Charged and remanded to The Monmouth County Correctional Institution in Freehold, New Jersey pending his First Appearance and Detention Hearing in Monmouth County State Superior Court.

     If Convicted on The Charge of First Degree Murder, Mr. Cruz will face the potential of Life in New Jersey State Prison.

Man Sentenced To Prison

JERSEY CITY, NJ.- On Tuesday, November 1, 2022, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced that on Monday, October 31, 2022, The Honorable Vincent J. Militello, J.S.C. Sentenced Bernard Wilson, 29, of Bayonne, New Jersey to a Term of 20-Years in New Jersey State Prison for the 2020 fatal Shooting Death of Abimael Fuentes, 38, of Jersey City, New Jersey.

     Mr. Wilson Pleaded Guilty to First Degree Aggravated Manslaughter on Thursday, July 21, 2022. Monday's Sentence is pursuant to The No Early Release Act, which requires Mr. Wilson to serve 85 % of the sentence before becoming eligible for parole.

     On Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at approximately 10:30 p.m., Members of The Jersey City Police Department responded to Brinkerhoff Street between Monticello and Bergen Avenues on a report of Shots Fired.

      Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered a man, later identified as Abimael Fuentes, 38, of Jersey City, who had sustained a Gunshot to his Abdomen. Mr. Fuentes was immediately transported to Jersey City Regional Medical Center where he succumbed to his injury and was subsequently pronounced deceased a short time later.

     A subsequent autopsy performed by The Regional Medical Examiner's Office determined the Cause of Death to be a Gunshot Wound and the Manner of Death to be Homicide.

PARSIPPANY, NJ.- On Monday, October 31, 2022, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll announced that David C. Knestrick, 47, of Norwalk, Connecticut has been Arrested and Charged in connection with the Stabbing of a man Saturday Afternoon.

     On Sunday, October 30, 2022, at approximately 12:18 p.m., Members of The Parsippany Police Department responded to The Parsippany Hilton Hotel on a report of an Altercation and Stabbing.

     Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered that during a Halloween Themed Event. A Security Guard that was working at the party had been Stabbed while trying to break up an Altercation between Mr. Knestrick and other individuals attending the party. The Security Guard was immediately transported to Morristown Medical Center for treatment for his wound.

     The ensuing investigation determined that Mr. Knestrick was the individual responsible for the Stabbing. Mr. Knestrick was Arrested and subsequently Charged with Second Degree Aggravated Assault; Third Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Fourth Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.

     Mr. Knestrick was processed on the Charges and remanded to The Morris County Correctional Center pending his First Appearance in Morris County State Superior Court.

Teen Taken Into Custody

TEEN CHARGED AFTER BREAKING INTO A 68-YEAR OLD WOMAN'S HOME AND SEXUALLY ASSAULTING HER

SAYREVILLE, NJ.- On Monday, October 31, 2022, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Acting Sayreville Police Chief announced that a Teen has been taken into custody and Charged with Juvenile Delinquency. If Charged as an adult the Charges would equate to Aggravated Sexual Assault; Burglary; and Theft.

     On Monday, October 31, 2022, at approximately 12:15 a.m., Members of The Sayreville Police Department responded to a residence located on Swider Drive in the Parlin Section of the Township on a report of the area of a Breakin. 

     Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered a 68-Year-Old woman who reported shortly after midnight the teen broke into her apartment Sexually Assaulted her, the grabbed some of her items and then fled the scene.
