SECURITY GUARD AT PARSIPPANY HILTON HOTEL IS STABBED AT HALLOWEEN PARTY

PARSIPPANY, NJ.- On Monday, October 31, 2022, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll announced that David C. Knestrick, 47, of Norwalk, Connecticut has been Arrested and Charged in connection with the Stabbing of a man Saturday Afternoon.
On Sunday, October 30, 2022, at approximately 12:18 p.m., Members of The Parsippany Police Department responded to The Parsippany Hilton Hotel on a report of an Altercation and Stabbing.
Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered that during a Halloween Themed Event. A Security Guard that was working at the party had been Stabbed while trying to break up an Altercation between Mr. Knestrick and other individuals attending the party. The Security Guard was immediately transported to Morristown Medical Center for treatment for his wound.
The ensuing investigation determined that Mr. Knestrick was the individual responsible for the Stabbing. Mr. Knestrick was Arrested and subsequently Charged with Second Degree Aggravated Assault; Third Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Fourth Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.
Mr. Knestrick was processed on the Charges and remanded to The Morris County Correctional Center pending his First Appearance in Morris County State Superior Court.
