BREAKING: Philadelphia Man Sentenced To State Prison

PHILADELPHIA MAN SENTENCED TO PRISON FOR THE 2021 STABBING DEATH OF HIS GIRLFRIEND

MAYS LANDING, NJ.- Atlantic County Prosecutor William Reynolds reported that on Friday, June 23, 2023, an Atlantic County State Superior Court Judge Sentenced Frankie Lane, 61, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to a Term of Twenty Years in New Jersey State Prison on the Charge of First Degree Aggravated Manslaughter. The Sentence is Subject to The No Early Release Act.



     On June 11, 2021, Members of The Atlantic City Police Department responded to The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City on a report of a Woman being Stabbed. Upon arrival, Police Officers found a woman inside a Hotel Room Unresponsive and Covered with a Sheet from Multiple Wounds. 


     The initial investigation by Members of The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit and Detectives of The Atlantic City Police Department were able to identify Mr. Lane as a Suspect and the individual responsible for the Stabbing Death of his Girlfriend.


     Mr. Lane surrendered to Law Enforcement Officials a few days after the Stabbing Death.

UPPER SADDLE RIVER, NJ.- On Friday, June 23, 2023, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella reported that following an investigation into Interner Activity for the Possession and Distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material, on Thursday, June 22, 2023, a 69-Year-Old Upper Saddle River, New Jersey man was taken into Custody and Charged.


     On Thursday, June 22, 2023, Members of The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Cyber Crime Unit Executed a Court Authorized Search Warrant at the Upper Saddle River Home of Frank Cirino, 69, after the conclusion of an Internet Child Pornography investigation. During the course of the investigation, Detectives determined that Mr. Cirion used the Internet to View, Download, Possess, and Distribute items Depicting Nude and or Sexually Explicit Prepubescent and Pubescent Children. In addition Mr. Cirion Engaged in Sexual Conversation with other Internet Users whom he believed to be Minor Children.


     Accordingly, Mr. Cirion was Charged with Secon Degree Distribution of Child Pornography; Third Degree Possession of Child Pornography; and Third Degree Attempted Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Cirion was Processed on the Charges and Remanded to The Bergen County Jail in Hackensack, New Jersey.

PATERSON, NJ.- Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes reported that Detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the Sunday Morning Shooting that left a Paterson, New Jersey man hospitalized.


     On Sunday, June 25, 2023, at approximately 6:16 a.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center after being notified that a 23-Year-Old Paterson man had arrived there seeking treatment for a Non-Life Threatening Gunshot Wound.


     Based on the initial investigation, Police Officers believe that the man was Struck by Gunfire in the area of Market and Madison Streets in Paterson just shortly around 6:00 a.m., Sunday Morning.


     The investigation remains active and ongoing. BREAKING: Body Of Woman Identified In 2020 Homicide

UNION COUNTY AUTHORITIES HAVE IDENTIFIED THE BODY OF A WOMAN FOUND DECEASED IN 2020

     " The Body Of A Woman Found Along The Railroad Tracks In Elizabeth, New Jersey Has Been Identified As Jasmine Featherstone."

ELIZABETH, NJ.- Today, Union County Prosecutor William A. Daniel reported, The Remains of a Woman that were discovered in June 2020, along Railroad Tracks in Elizabeth, New Jersey have been Positively Identified as that of a 23-Year-Old Elizabeth Woman and the Victim of an apparent Homicide.


     The then-unidentified Woman's Body was discovered when on June 11, 2020, Members of The Elizabeth Police Department responded to the area of The 300 Block of Port Avenue in Elizabeth, after receiving a report of remains being found along the adjacent Railroad Tracks. 


     Upon arrival, Police Officers located The Remains of a Woman who appeared to have been a Victim of Homicide. An investigation was initiated, and a subsequent autopsy determined the Manner of Death to be Homicide.



     Through the exhaustive efforts of Detectives of The Union County Homicide Task Force, The Elizabeth Police Department, and the investigative efforts and DNA Testing through Othram Labs, The Victim was recently identified as Jasmine Featherstone, 23, of Elizabeth, New Jersey, and previously from Middletown, Connecticut.

BREAKING: Paterson Man Sentenced To Prison

67-YEAR-OLD PATERSON MAN SENTENCED TO STATE PRISON FOR SEXUALLY ASSAULTING A CHILD

     " Julio Largo-Veletanga, Sentenced To 44-Years In New Jersey State Prison For The Repeated Sexual Assault Of A 10-Year-Old Girl."

PATERSON, NJ.- Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes reported on Thursday, June 15, 2023, a Passaic County State Superior Court Judge Sentenced Julio Largo-Veletanga, 67, of Paterson, New Jersey to a New Jersey State Prison Term of 44-Years for the Repeated Sexual Assaults of a 10-Year-Old Girl for 3-Months inside her Paterson, New Jersey Home.


    The Sentence is a result of an Early November 2022 Trial, where Mr. Largo-Veletanga was Convicted by a Passaic County Jury on Charges that resulted from a 2020 investigation.



     On May 17, 2020, Detectives of The Paterson Police Department referred a Sexual Assault investigation involving a 10-Year-Old Girl to The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit. Whereupon, Detectives of The Specials Victims Unit interviewed Multiple Witnesses, and The Girl, who reported being Sexually Abused by Mr. Largo-Veletanga on Multiple Occasions between February 2020 and May 2020 at her Home in Paterson, New Jersey. 


     Following the investigation, Detectives concluded that there was substantial evidence that Sexual Crimes were committed and Mr. Largo-Veletanga was the individual that committed the Crimes. Accordingly, Largo-Veletanga was Charged, and in February 2021, A Grand Jury sitting in Passaic County, New Jersey returned Indictment Number 21-02-00059-I Charging Mr. Largo-Veletanga with Multiple Sexual Offenses.


     Under the terms of The Sentence Largo-Veletanga will be required to Serve 25 years of his 44-Year Custodial Term pursuant to The Jessica Lunsford Act. Upon his release from Prison, Mr. Largo-Veletanga will be on Parole Supervision for Life and further subject to Megan's Law Registration Requirements.

NEWARK, NJ.- Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens reported that Detectives of The Essex County Homicide Task Force and The Newark Police Department are actively investigating Today's Late Morning Fatal Shooting of a Florham Park, New Jersey man.


     Today, June 21, 2023, at approximately 10:33 a.m., Members of The Newark Police to a 911 Emergency Call reporting that a Shooting had occurred on The 100 Block of Weequahic Avenue in Newark. Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, later identified as Murad Loyal, 44, of Florham Park, New Jersey suffering from Multiple Gunshot Wounds.


     Mr. Loyal was immediately transported to University Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was subsequently pronounced deceased at 11:14 a.m.

BREAKING: Arrest Made In Thursday Night Passaic Shooting

PASSAIC, NJ.- On Friday, June 19, 2023, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes reported that following a Swift-Moving investigation a 25-Year-Old Passaic, New Jersey man was Arrested and Charged after Shooting a Passaic Teen last Thursday Night in the area of Bergen and Fourth Streets in Passaic, New Jersey.


     On Thursday, June 18, 2023, at approximately 9:35 p.m., Members of The Passaic Police Department responded to the area of Bergen and Fourth Streets in The City on Multiple Reports of a Large Fight with Weapons Involved. Upon arrival, Police Officers located a Crime Scene, and an 18-Year-Old Passaic woman was found nearby suffering from a Non-Life Threatening Gunshot Wound. The woman was immediately transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey for treatment.



     During the initial investigation, a Passaic Police Officer found a man, identified as Roger Palacios, 25, of Passaic, New Jersey near the Crime Scene. A subsequent search of Mr. Palacios revealed that he was in Possession of a Loaded Handgun. 


     Accordingly, Mr. Palacios was Taken into Custody and Charged with One Count of Second Degree Aggravated Assault; Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon; Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Fourth Degree Possession of a Defaced Weapon. Mr. Palacios was Processed on The Charges and Remanded to The Passaic County Jail. 


     The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office has Filed a Pretrial Detention Motion to have Mr. Palacios Detained pending the outcome of the Charges Filed Against him. A hearing has been scheduled for tomorrow in Passaic County State Superior Court.

EGG HARBOR, NJ.- Atlantic County Prosecutor William Reynolds reported that a 27-Year-Old Sioux Falls, South Dakota man was Arrested on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, in Pleasantville, New Jersey for the Shooting Death of Terrance Dismuke, 30, of Atlantic City, New Jersey on Friday, June 16, 2023, in Egg Harbor City, New Jersey.


     On Friday, June 16, 2023, at approximately 4:50 p.m., Members of The Egg Harbor City Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a Shooting in The 200 Block of St. Louis Avenue in The City. Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, later identified as Terrence Dismuke, suffering from an apparent Gunshot Wound. Mr. Dismuke was immediately transported to an area Hospital where he succumbed to his injury and was pronounced deceased.


     A Swift-Moving Investigation by Detectives of The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit in conjunction with The Egg Harbor City Police Department was to Identify Dominique Woodall, 27, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, as the Suspect and the Individual responsible for The Shooting Death of Mr. Dismuke.


     Accordingly, Mr. Woodall was Charged with First Degree Murder; Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon; and Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose. Mr. Woodall was Processed on The Charges and Remanded to The Atlantic County Justice Facility. The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office has Filed a Pretrial Detention Motion to have Mr. Woodall detained pending the resolution of The Charges Filed against him.

CLIFFSIDE PARK, NJ.- Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella reported that on Monday, June 19, 2023, a Cleveland, Ohio man was Arrested and Charged with Sexually Assaulting Two Young Children last month in Cliffside Park, New Jersey. 


     On May 25, 2023, Detectives of The Cliffside Police Department contacted The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit Regarding the Alleged Sexual Assaults of Two Children. An investigation by Members of The Cliffside Police Department in conjunction with The Bergen County Special Victims Unit quickly determined that Eduardo Camacho, 29, of Cleveland, Ohio Sexually Assault Two Children, one under the Age of 13, and one older than the Age of 13 but Younger than the Age of 16, on Multiple Occasions in Cliffside Park, New Jersey.


     Accordingly, Mr. Camacho was Taken into Custody on Monday in Cleveland, Ohio, and Formally Charged with Six Counts of First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault; and Two Counts of Second Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Mr. Camacho is being held at The Cuyahoga County Jail in Ohio on a Fugitive from Justice Warrant, Pending Extradition back to New Jersey.


     If Convicted on all The Charges, Mr. Camacho will Face a Potential New Jersey State Prison Term of Life of which Camacho will be required to Serve a Minimum of 25-Years before Parole Eligibility.

PASSAIC, NJ.- According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, Detectives are continuing their investigation into Two Shootings that occurred in the early morning hours on Sunday, June 18, 2023, in The City of Passaic.


     On Sunday, June 18, 2023, at approximately 3:42 a.m., Members of The Passaic Police Department responded to the area of Aspen Place between State Street and Columbia Avenue on Multiple Reports of Shots Fired. Upon arrival, Police Officers found a crime scene and a 36-Year-Old Passaic man suffering from a Non-Life Threatening Gunshot Wound. The man was immediately transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center for treatment.


     Then again, on Sunday, June 18, 2023, at approximately 5:46 a.m., Members of The Passaic Police Department responded to the area of Parker Avenue and Brinkerhoff Place in Passaic on Multiple Reports of Shots Fired. Upon arrival, Police Officers locate a crime scene but were unable to locate a victim.


     Both Shootings are under active investigation, no Arrests have been made at this time. GARFIELD, NJ.- Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella reported that Detectives of The Bergen County Major Crimes Unit and The Garfield Police Department are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding last night's Shooting in Garfield, New Jersey that has left a 25-Year-Old man Hospitalized.



     On Sunday, June 18, 2023, at approximately 11:45 p.m., Members of The Garfield Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a Shooting that had just occurred in a Parking Lot of 7 Jewel Street in Garfield, New Jersey.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a 25-Year-Old Jersey City, New Jersey man suffering from Non-Life Threatening Gunshot Wounds. The man was immediately transported to Hackensack University Medical Center where he remains in Stable Condition.


     The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information may become available once released by authorities.

LITTLE FALLS, NJ.- On Friday, June 16, 2023, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes reported that following an investigation, a 22-Year-Old Passaic, New Jersey man was taken into Custody early Friday Morning and Formally Charged in connection with the June 10, 2023, Little Falls, New Jersey Stabbing that left a 20-Year-Old Hawthorne, New Jersey man Hospitalized.


     On Saturday, June 10, 2023, at approximately 1:22 a.m., Members of The Little Falls Police Department responded to the Intersection of Grey Street and Newark Pompton Turnpike in Little Falls after receiving a 911 Emergency Call, reporting that a Stabbing had occurred.



     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a 20-Year-Old Hawthorne, New Jersey man suffering from Stab Wound to his Chest. The man was immediately transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey for treatment. Following an investigation Francisco Rivera, 22, of Passaic, New Jersey was identified as the individual responsible for The Stabbing and on June 15, 2023, a Complaint-Warrant was issued for the Arrest of Mr. Rivera. On Friday, June 16, 2023, at approximately 6:26 a.m., Mr. Rivera was Arrested at residence in Passaic, New Jersey by Members of The Little Falls Police Department and The United States Marshals Service.


     Accordingly, Mr. Rivera has been Charged with One Count of First Degree Attempted Murder; Third Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Fourth Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. Mr. Rivera was Processed on The Charges and Remanded to The Passaic County Jail. If Convicted on The Charges Mr. Rivera will Face the Potential Sentencing Exposure of 20-Years in New Jersey State Prison.

GARFIELD NEW JERSEY MAN ARRIVES AT HOSPITAL AFTER BEING STRUCK BY GUNFIRE THURSDAY NIGHT

     " Passaic County Authorities Investigating The Thursday Night Shooting Of A Garfield Man In Paterson, New Jersey."

PATERSON, NJ.- Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes reported that Authorities are continuing their investigation into The Shooting of a 37-Year-Old Garfield, New Jersey man.


     On Thursday, June 14, 2023, at approximately 10:46 p.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center after they were notified that a 37-Year-Old Garfield, New Jersey man had arrived at the hospital seeking treatment for a Non-Life Threatening Gunshot Wound.


     Based upon the initial investigation, Police Officers were able to determine that the man was Struck by Gunfire in the area of 4th Avenue and East 12th Street in Paterson, New Jersey. 


     The investigation remains active and ongoing. No Arrests have been made at this time. More information may become available once released by Authorities.

EGG HARBOR, NJ.- Atlantic County Prosecutor William Reynolds reported that Detectives are continuing their investigation into the Shooting Death of an Atlantic City, New Jersey man that occurred Friday Afternoon in Egg Harbor City, New Jersey.


     On Friday, June 16, 2023, at approximately 4:50 p.m., Members of The Egg Harbor City Police Department responded to The 200 Block of St. Louis Avenue in The City on a report of a Shooting. Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, later identified as Terrance Dismuke, 30, of Atlantic City, New Jersey suffering from an apparent Gunshot Wound.


     Mr. Dismuke was immediately transported to an area Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was subsequently pronounced deceased a short time later. 


     The investigation remains active and ongoing. No Arrests have been made at this time.

WEST NEW YORK, NJ.- A New Jersey Police Department that was the target of a Federal Investigation that resulted in The Chief of Police and Eight Police Officers being Indicted on Charges that they Extorted Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars in Bribes in the Late 1990s, has once again found itself under scrutiny as a High-Ranking Police Official was Charged yesterday with Theft of over $60,000. in Funds.


     Following an investigation by Members of The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office Internal Affairs Unit, a West New York Police Captain was Charged after Funds were reported missing by The West New York Police Academy, Inc.



     On Thursday, June 15, 2023, Erwin Moreno, 49, was taken into Custody and Charged with One Count of Third Degree Theft. After being Processed on The Charge, Mr. Moreno was released on a Complaint Summons pending his First Appearance, which has been Scheduled for Thursday, June 29, 2023, in Hudson County Central Judicial Processing Court in Jersey City, New Jersey.


     The investigation uncovered that between 2016 and 2023, Mr. Moreno Misused over $60,000. in Funds from The West New York Police Academy in which he served as President of the Organization for his Personal Use.

"We will continue acting to ensure that the West New York Police Department maintains the highest level of integrity and always remains committed to upholding the law and public trust."

     " Emmanuel B. Doivilus Has Been Charged With Murder For The Fatal Shooting Of Mark Hoffman Outside Rieck Elementary School."

MILLVILLE, NJ.- Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae reported that on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, an 18-Year-Old Vineland, New Jersey man was Arrested and Charged in connection with Monday's Shooting Death of a 20-Year-Old Millville Man.


     On Monday, June 12, 2023, at approximately 5:00 a.m., Members of The Millville Police Department responded to The Rieck Avenue Elementary School, located on The 300 Block of Rieck Avenue in Millville on a report of an Unresponsive Man inside a Vehicle. Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, later identified as Mark Hoffman deceased inside his vehicle from an apparent Gunshot Wound.


     A swift-moving investigation by Members of The Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office in conjunction with Detectives of The Millville Police were able to identify Emmanuel B. Doivilus, 18, of Vineland, New Jersey as a Suspect and the person responsible for The Shooting Death of Mr. Hoffman.


     Accordingly, on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, Mr. Doivilus was taken into Custody by Members of The United States Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force with the assistance of The Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office and The Millville Police Department. Mr. Doivilus was Formally Charged with One Count of First Degree Murder; Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon; Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; Second Degree Aggravated Assault; and Third Degree Possession of a Weapon on School Grounds.


     Mr. Doivilus was Processed on The Charges and Remanded to The Cumberland County Jail. The Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office will File a Pretrial Detention Motion to have Mr. Doivilus Detained pending the outcome of The Charges Filed Against him.

HACKENSACK, NJ.- On Thursday, June 15, 2023, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella reported that following an investigation, a 44-Year-Old Hackensack, New Jersey man was Taken into Custody on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, and Charged in connection with the Alleged Sexual Assault of a Child.


     On March 17, 2023, Detectives of The Hackensack Police Department contacted Members of The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit regarding the Alleged Sexual Assault of a Child. An investigation was initiated. After interviewing Witnesses including the Child, Detectives determined that Ruben Saca, 44, of Hackensack, New Jersey, Sexually Assaulted the Child Multiple Times when the Child was 11-Years-Old in Hackensack, New Jersey.


     Accordingly, on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, Mr. Saca was Arrested and Formally Charged with One Count of First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault; Second Degree Sexual Assault; and Second Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child.


     Mr. Saca was Processed on The Charges and Remanded to The Bergen County Jail pending his First Appearance in Bergen County Central Judicial Processing Court.

BREAKING: Essex County Jail Inmates Convicted

INMATES CONVICTED IN BRUTAL JAILHOUSE BEATING

     " Byad Lockett, Darryl Watson, & Isaad Jackson Have Been Convicted On Multiple Charges For The September 2021 Beating of Jayshawn Boyd."

NEWARK, NJ.- Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II reported that Yesterday, Two Essex County Jail Inmates were Convicted of Attempted Murder in The Senseless Brutal Beating of Jayshawn Boyd with a Microwave Oven and other items. A Third Inmate was also Convicted of also Attacking Mr. Boyd with Additional Items. Mr. Boyd suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury in the Attack.



     Following a Two-Week Trail in Essex County State Superior Court, an Essex County Jury Convicted Byad Lockett, and Darryl Watson on Charges of First Degree Attempted Murder; Second Degree Aggravated Assault; and Third Degree Possession of a Weapon (Microwave) for an Unlawful Purpose. The Jury Also Convicted Isaad Jackson of Third Degree Possession of a Weapon (Mop Bucket & Multi-Gallon Beverage Container) for an Unlawful Purpose, for Attempting to Murder Mr. Boyd. The Jury was unable to reach Verdicts on Attempted Murder and Aggravated Assault Charges Against Mr. Jackson.



     The Conviction stems from an incident, when on September 23, 2021, in Building 3 of The Essex County Correctional Facility, Seven Inmates Attacked Mr. Boyd in the Common Area of C-Pod, Repeatedly Beating him unconscious by Punching him in the face and Stomping his Head. Once unconscious, Lockett and Watson Struck Mr. Boyd in The Head Numerous Times with the Microwave. During the Attack, Jackson picked up a Mop Bucket filled with Water and Struck Mr. Boyd in The Head. The 2-Minute Attack was recorded on Video and used as Evidence in Securing Convictions Against the Three Men.

BREAKING: Iselin, New Jersey Man Charged In Fatal Crash

ISELIN MAN CHARGED IN FATAL HIGHLAND PARK CRASH THAT HAS KILLED TWO MARYLAND RESIDENTS

HIGHLAND PARK, NJ.- Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone reported that a 34-Year-Old Iselin, New Jersey Man has been Charged in connection with The Fatal Crash that claimed the Lives of Two Maryland Residents, that occurred late Yesterday Afternoon on Route 27 in Highland Park, New Jersey.



     On Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at approximately 5:32 p.m., Members of The Highland Park Police Department responded to the intersection of Route 27 and North 10th Street in Highland Park on a report of a Motor Vehicle Crash that had just occurred. 


     Upon arrival, Police Officers located a Mercedes operated by Abeer Viriani, 34, of Iselin, New Jersey, who had Struck a Subaru that was Occupied by Peter Palmer, 75, of Easton, Maryland, and Carol Paul, 77, of Easton, Maryland. Both Mr. Palmer and Ms. Paul were pronounced deceased at the scene. Mr. Viriani also Struck a Hyundai Elantra, the Driver of the Elantra sustained minor injuries. Mr. Viriani also sustained serious injuries in the crash. Both Viriani and the Driver of the Elantra were transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for treatment. 


     Following an initial investigation, Mr. Viriani was Charged at the hospital with Two Counts of First Degree Aggravated Manslaughter; and Two Counts of Vehicular Homicide. Mr. Viriani is currently being detained and will be scheduled for a Pretrial Detention Hearing which will be held in Middlesex County State Superior Court in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

ELIZABETH, NJ.- Union County Prosecutor William A. Daniel and Elizabeth Police Officials reported on Tuesday, that the Body Parts discovered in May in the Waters where The Elizabeth River joins The Arthur Kill Waterway have been Positively Identified.



     Woldy Ventura-Cruz, 34, whose remains were first found on May 16, 2023, by Members of The Elizabeth Police Department has been identified by The Union County Medical Examiner's Office as the Individual who was Murdered, Dismembered, and whose Body Parts were Dumped into The Elizabeth Waterways.


     The investigation remains active and ongoing. BAYONNE, NJ.- Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez reported that Members of The Hudson County Homicide Unit in conjunction with Detectives of The Bayonne Police Department are investigating the Fatal Shooting of a 27-Year-Old Woman that occurred last night inside her apartment.


     On Monday, June 12, 2023, at approximately 11:35 p.m., Members of The Bayonne Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a Shooting had occurred inside an Apartment located at 331 Avenue E in Bayonne, New Jersey.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers entered the Apartment and found a Woman, later identified as Keyanna Brown, 27, of Bayonne, Unresponsive from Multiple Gunshot Wounds to her Upper Body. Ms. Brown was pronounced deceased at the scene at 12:00 a.m. The Cause and Manner of Death are pending findings of The Hudson County Regional Medical Examiner.


     Ms. Brown's Father, Errol Brown, 52, of Bayonne, New Jersey was taken into Custody and Charged with One Count of First Degree Murder; and Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose. Mr. Brown was Processed on the Charges and is currently being Detained in The Hudson County Correctional Facility pending his First Appearance and Potential Detention Hearing.
