BREAKING: Arrest Made In Little Falls Stabbing

22-YEAR-OLD PASSAIC NEW JERSEY MAN ARRESTED IN CONNECTION TO A LITTLE FALLS STABBING INCIDENT

     " Francisco Rivera Was Taken Into Custody Friday Morning For The June 10, 2023, Stabbing Of A 20-Year-Old Hawthorne, New Jersey Man."

LITTLE FALLS, NJ.- On Friday, June 16, 2023, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes reported that following an investigation, a 22-Year-Old Passaic, New Jersey man was taken into Custody early Friday Morning and Formally Charged in connection with the June 10, 2023, Little Falls, New Jersey Stabbing that left a 20-Year-Old Hawthorne, New Jersey man Hospitalized.


     On Saturday, June 10, 2023, at approximately 1:22 a.m., Members of The Little Falls Police Department responded to the Intersection of Grey Street and Newark Pompton Turnpike in Little Falls after receiving a 911 Emergency Call, reporting that a Stabbing had occurred.



     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a 20-Year-Old Hawthorne, New Jersey man suffering from Stab Wound to his Chest. The man was immediately transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey for treatment. Following an investigation Francisco Rivera, 22, of Passaic, New Jersey was identified as the individual responsible for The Stabbing and on June 15, 2023, a Complaint-Warrant was issued for the Arrest of Mr. Rivera. On Friday, June 16, 2023, at approximately 6:26 a.m., Mr. Rivera was Arrested at residence in Passaic, New Jersey by Members of The Little Falls Police Department and The United States Marshals Service.


     Accordingly, Mr. Rivera has been Charged with One Count of First Degree Attempted Murder; Third Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Fourth Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. Mr. Rivera was Processed on The Charges and Remanded to The Passaic County Jail. If Convicted on The Charges Mr. Rivera will Face the Potential Sentencing Exposure of 20-Years in New Jersey State Prison.
