Shooting Last Night In Paterson New Jersey

SHOOTING LAST NIGHT IN THE AREA OF CARROLL STREET AND HARRISON STREET IN PATERSON NEW JERSEY

     " Passaic County Authorities Are Investigating A Second Shooting That Occurred In The Area Of Carroll & Harrison Streets In Less Than One Week."

PATERSON, NJ.- On Wednesday, July 21, 2021 Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announced that at approximately 11:40 p.m. Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Carroll Street and Harrison Street in Paterson, New Jersey, on a report of shots fired.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers located a potential crime scene and a 19-year-old male Paterson resident who sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey for treatment to his injury.



     Based upon the initial investigation, it was determined that the victim was standing in the area of Carroll Street and Harrison Street when he was struck by gunfire.


     The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information may be available as it is released by authorities.
