A 43 YEAR OLD RIDGEFIELD, NEW JERSEY MAN HAS BEEN ARRESTED AND CHARGED IN CONNECTION TO ALLEGED SEXUAL OFFENSES ON MINORS

RIDGEFIELD, NJ.- On Monday, July 12, 2021, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella and Ridgefield Police Chief announced the arrest of Oscar Hernandez-Estrada, 43, of Ridgefield, New Jersey. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and The Ridgefield Police Department under the direction of Chief Thomas J. Gallagher.
On Tuesday, July 6, 2021, The Ridgefield Police Department received information that Oscar Hernandez-Estrada had been Sexually Abusing multiple Juveniles. Ridgefield Police contacted The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Specials Victims Unit and The New Jersey Department of Child Protection and Permanency. An investigation revealed that Hernandez-Estrada Sexually Abused Two Children under the age thirteen while in Ridgefield, New Jersey.
On Thursday, July 8, 2021, Oscar Hernandez-Estrada was Arrested and Charged by The Ridgefield Police Department with One Count of First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault; One Count of Sexual Assault by Sexual Contact; and One Count of Third Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Once processed by The Ridgefield Police Department, Hernandez-Estrada was remanded to The Bergen County Jail where he will be detained pending his First Appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, New Jersey.
