36-Year-Old Paterson Man Hospitalized After Being Struck By Gunfire Late Friday Night

PATERSON, NJ.- A 36-year-old Paterson, New Jersey man was hospitalized following being struck by gunfire Friday night on Ryle Avenue in Paterson, New Jersey.


     According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Friday, June 7, 2024, at just around 10:00 p.m., members of the Paterson Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a man injured by gunfire in the area of Ryle Avenue and Rtle Road in the City of Paterson.



     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a 36-year-old Paterson, New Jersey man who had sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The man was immediately transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center for treatment. During the investigation, Police Officers found evidence of a shooting scene.


      No arrests have been made at this time, the investigation remains active and ongoing as Detectives continue their search for the gunman.
