Police Are Searching For The Gunman Who Opened Fire Early Monday Morning In Passaic

PASSAIC, NJ.- Passaic County Authorities are continuing their search for a suspect who opened fire early this morning on a quiet Passaic, New Jersey Street.


     According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Monday, May 6, 2024, just shortly after 12:30 a.m., members of the Passaic Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting multiple shots being fired in the area of Main Avenue and Chestnut Street in the City of Passaic.



     Upon arrival, Police Officers located evidence of a shooting crime scene and learned that no one was struck by gunfire.


     The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made as Police continue to look for the gunman.
