A 32-Year-Old Man Was Fatally Stabbed Sunday Night On A Perth Amboy, New Jersey Street

PERTH AMBOY, NJ.- Middlesex County Authorities are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding last night's stabbing death of a 32-year-old Perth Amboy, New Jersey man.
According to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Perth Amboy Police Chief Lawrence Cattano, on Sunday, April 28, 2024, just before 9:00 p.m., members of the Perth Amboy Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a stabbing in the area of Smith and Maple Streets in the City of Perth Amboy.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, identified as Jason Torres, 32, of Perth Amboy, New Jersey, unresponsive from a stab wound. Mr. Torres was immediately transported to Hackensack Health Raritan Bay Medical Center where he sadly succumbed to his injury and was pronounced deceased.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made as authorities continue to search for a suspect.
