21-Year-Old Hoboken Man Was Fatally Shot Late Sunday Night In Hoboken, New Jersey

HOBOKEN, NJ.- The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office Homicide Unit and the Hoboken Police Department are continuing the investigation into the shooting death of a 21-year-old Hoboken, New Jersey man who was gunned down last night outside a Hoboken building.
According to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez, on Sunday, April 28, 2024, shortly after 11:30 p.m., members of the Hoboken Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting shots fired in the area of 320 Marshall Drive in Hoboken.
Upon arrival, Police Officers located evidence of a shooting crime scene outside the location. While on the scene, responding Officers were notified that a 21-year-old man, identified as Damon Murray, 21, of Hoboken, New Jersey, had arrived by way of private vehicle at Jersey City Medical Center with a life-threatening gunshot wound to his abdomen. Mr. Murray succumbed to his injury and was pronounced deceased moments after 12:00 a.m., on Monday, April 29, 2024.
The cause and manner of death are pending the findings of the Regional Medical Examiner's Office.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time. Detectives of the Hudson County Homicide Unit and the Hoboken Police Department continue their search for the gunman.
