North Bergen Man Charged With Possession Of Child Pornography

25-Year-Old North Bergen Man Was Arrested Yesterday And Charged With Possession Of Child Pornography

NORTH BERGEN, NJ.- Following an investigation, on Wednesday, April 18, 2024, Detectives of the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested a 25-year-old North Bergen, New Jersey man in connection with possessing child sexual abuse material.



     According to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez, Nicholas Sanchez, 25, of North Bergen, New Jersey was taken into custody and formally charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child, for Possessing Child Pornography. 


     Sanchez was taken into custody at the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office in Secaucus, New Jersey. After being processed on the charge Sanchez was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility pending future court proceedings in Hudson County Superior Court.


     The charge stems from when on December 15, 2023, the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office Internet Crimes Against Children received a tip that child sexual abuse material was being stored on an online server. During the investigation, Detectives determined Sanchez controlled the server.  


     "The rules of the court require us to include a statement, that states: The charges outlined in this publication are merely accusations and the defendant and or defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt."
