Teaneck Woman Charged For Concealing Sex Crimes On Children

TEANECK, NJ.- Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella reported, that following an investigation, on Friday, March 1, 2024, a 32-Year-Old Teaneck, New Jersey woman was Taken into Custody and Charge in connection with Endangering the Welfare of a Child.


     According to Authorities, on Friday, March 1, 2024, The Teaneck Police Department contacted The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit regarding a Child Endangerment Incident.


     An investigation was launched, and Detectives of The Bergen County Special Victims Unit and The Teaneck Police Department quickly determined that Shanasia Taylor, 32, of Teaneck, New Jersey, Acted in a Manner that would Endanger the Welfare of a Child, by not reporting an Act of Sexual Assault Against Children.


     Accordingly, on Friday, March 1, 2024, following a Swift-Moving Investigation, Ms. Taylor was Taken into Custody in Teaneck and Formally Charged with Two Counts of Second Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Taylor was Processed on The Charges and was Remanded to The Bergen County Jail pending Future Court Proceedings in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack, New Jersey.
