ATLANTIC COUNTY SISTERS CHARGED WITH THEFT OF PILLS FROM SHREWSBURY MEDICAL CENTER
"Deborah Baskerville & Shonte Hall Are Both Charged With Multiple Counts Relating To The Theft Of Oxycodone Pills From A Nursing Facility."

SHREWSBURY, NJ.- Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago reported, that Two Atlantic County Sisters have been Charged in connection with The Theft of Prescription Drugs from a Shrewsbury, New Jersey Nursing Facility.
According to The Prosecutor's Office, Deborah Baskerville, 38, of Galloway Township, New Jersey has been Charged with Third Degree Impersonation Under a False Identity; Third Degree Unlicensed Practice of Medicine Under a False Identity; Third Degree Theft by Deception; Third Degree Theft of a Controlled Dangerous Substance; Fourth Degree Unlicensed Practice of Medicine; and Fourth Degree Conspiracy to Commit Theft by Deception.
Baskerville's Sister, Shonte Hall, 36, of Egg Harbor City, New Jersey has been Charged with Fourth Degree Conspiracy to Commit Theft by Deception; and Fourth Degree Conspiracy to Commit Unlicensed Practice of Medicine.
An Investigation by Detective Sergeant Daniel DeCristofaro of The Shrewsbury Borough Police Department uncovered that The Alleged Theft occurred on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at Complete Care, a Skilled Nursing Facility located in Shrewsbury, New Jersey. It has been alleged that Baskerville used Hall's Identity and Nursing License to work a shift at The Facility. The investigation found that during that Shift, Baskerville took Ten Oxycodone Pills valued at around $200.00 from a Locked Medicine Cart and Replaced them with Allergy Pills.
In Early February 2024, Baskerville Surrendered to Authorities, followed by her Sister, Shonte Hall, a few weeks later. Both Baskerville and Hall made their First Appearances in Monmouth County Superior Court last week, following the hearing The Two were Released according to New Jersey Bail Reform on Pretrial Monitoring, pending Future Court Proceedings.
The Investigation has further uncovered that Baskerville may have been Engaged in Similar Conduct at other Medical Facilities across New Jersey in 2023, as Hall worked for a Nursing Company that Outsources its Services as Needed.
