PALISADES PARK, NJ.- On Friday, a 31-Year-Old Palisades Park, New Jersey man was Taken into Custody and Charged for Allegedly Sexually Assaulting a Child who was Under the Age of Thirteen in Palisades Park.
According to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella, on Friday, March 22, 2024, Police Officers of The Palisades Park Police Department contacted The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit Regarding the Alleged Sexual Assault of a Child in Palisades Park that occurred in the past.
Following an investigation, Detectives of The Bergen County Special Victims Unit and The Palisades Park Police Department determined that Jorge Orrego-Garcia, 31, of Palisades Park, New Jersey Sexually Assaulted a Child Under The Age of Thirteen in Palisades Park, New Jersey.
Accordingly, on Friday, March 22, 2024, Mr. Orrego-Garcia was Taken into Custody at The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office in Paramus, New Jersey, and Formally Charged with Two Counts of Second Degree Sexual Assault; and Two Counts of Third Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Orrego-Garcia was Processed on The Charges and was Remanded to The Bergen County Jail pending Future Court Proceedings in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack, New Jersey.
