One Dead And One Injured In Totowa Motor Vehicle Crash

PASSAIC COUNTY AUTHORITIES ARE INVESTIGATING WEDNESDAY'S FATAL CRASH

     "19-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed & His Passenger Seriously Injured After They Were Struck By A Motor Vehicle On Route 46 In Totowa, New Jersey."

TOTOWA, NJ.- A 19-Year-Old man Tragically Lost his Life and his Passenger remains Hospitalized after the Motorcycle they were on was Struck by a Motor Vehicle on Wednesday Afternoon in Totowa, New Jersey.


     According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., Members of The Totowa Police Department responded to a Report of a Serious Motor Vehicle Crash on Route 46 by the Union Boulevard Exit in Totowa.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers located a Crash between a Motor Vehicle and a Motorcycle. The initial investigation determined that a 2014 Acura MDX operated by a 22-Year-Old man Struck a 2008 Yamaha R6 Motorcycle carrying Two 19-Year-Old men.


     Both men were immediately transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson, where the driver of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased. The Passenger of the motorcycle was admitted and was listed in Stable Condition. The Driver of the Acura MDX did not sustain any injuries.
