INFANT TRAGICALLY KILLED AFTER BEING ATTACKED BY THE FAMILY'S DOG SATURDAY MORNING

AVENEL, NJ.- Middlesex County Authorities are continuing the investigation into a Fatal Dog Attack, that Tragically claimed the Life of an Infant and Hospitalized the Child's Mother with Serious Injuries, that occurred Saturday Morning inside their Avenel, New Jersey Home.
According to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone, on Saturday, March 9, 2024, shortly after 6:15 a.m., Members of The Woodbridge Township Police Department responded to a Frantic 911 Emergency Call reporting an Unresponsive Baby from an apparent Dog Attack at a Mereline Avenue Residence in The Avenel Section of Woodbridge Township.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found inside the home the Mother and Baby who sustained Serious Injuries from The Family's Dog. The Baby was pronounced deceased at the scene while the Mother and Father were transported to an area Hospital for Treatment.
