TWO PATERSON WOMEN REMAIN HOSPITALIZED AFTER BEING STRUCK BY GUNFIRE YESTERDAY AFTERNOON

PATERSON, NJ.- Passaic County Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding a Paterson Double Shooting after Gunfire Erupted Yesterday Afternoon, leaving a 31-Year-Old Woman and a 33-Year-Old Woman both from Paterson, New Jersey Hospitalized from Gunshot Wounds, as Gun Violence continues on The Streets of The City of Paterson.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at around 4:15 p.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center after being notified that a 31-Year-Old Paterson, New Jersey woman had arrived at The Medical Center seeking treatment for a Non-Life Threatening Gunshot Wound. Based on the initial investigation Police Officers the Woman was Shot while seated in a car in the area of Lewis Street and 20th Avenue in The City of Paterson.
While canvassing the area, Police Officers located a Second Gunshot Victim, a 33-Year-Old Paterson, New Jersey woman, in the area of 21st Avenue and Straight Street, the woman was immediately transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center for treatment for a Non-Life Threatening Gunshot Wound. The current condition of both women is unknown at this time.
The investigation remains Active and Ongoing. No arrests have been made as Police continue to search for a Suspect.
