BREAKING NEWS: 46-YEAR-OLD PATERSON MAN CHARGED WITH THE SHOOTING DEATH OF A MAN
"Alexander Gutierrez Was Charged With Murder For The Fatal Shooting Death Of Logan Gonzales of Union City Inside A Paterson Residence."

PATERSON, NJ.- A 46-Year-Old Paterson, New Jersey man was Taken into Custody and Formally Charged in connection with a Late Friday Night Shooting Death of a 33-Year-Old Union City, New Jersey man inside a Paterson, New Jersey Residence.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, Alexander Gutierrez has been Formally Charged with One Count of First Degree Murder; Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. Mr. Gutierrez was Processed on The Charges and was Remanded to The Passaic County Jail pending Future Court Proceedings in Passaic County Superior Court.
The Charges stem from an incident, when on Friday, February 16, 2024, just shortly after 10:30p.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department while on Patrol were stopped by an individual who witnessed an Individual Shot inside a Residence in the area of East 21st Street and 19th Avenue in The City of Paterson.
Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered a man, later identified as Logan Gonzales, 33, of Union City, New Jersey suffering from a Life-Threatening Gunshot Wound to his Lower Back. Mr. Gonzales was immediately transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center, where despite Life-Saving Efforts, Mr. Gonzales succumbed to The Gunshot Wound and was pronounced deceased a short time later.
The subsequent investigation determined that Mr. Gutierrez had Possessed a Revolver Handgun, and Shot Mr. Gonzales in the back which led to his Death.
If Convicted on All Charges, Mr. Gutierrez will Face a Potential Prison Term of 30 Years to Life in New Jersey State Prison.
