35-YEAR-OLD MAN WANTED FOR MURDER REMAINS HOSPITALIZED AFTER HE JUMPS FROM THIRD-FLOOR WINDOW TO AVOID ARREST

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ.- Today, at 8:30 a.m., a man Wanted for The November 7, 2023, Shooting Death of an Atlantic City, New Jersey man surprises Atlantic City Police Detectives when he Leaps Out a Third Floor Apartment Building Window, to Avoid Apprehension. Jamar Jones, 35, of Atlantic City, New Jersey remains in Custody at the Hospital in Serious Condition.
According to Atlantic County Prosecutor William E. Reynolds, on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 8:30 a.m., Members of The Atlantic City Police Department while Serving an Arrest Warrant for Mr. Jones, at an Apartment Building located at 61 North Martin Luther King Boulevard in Atlantic City, Shocked Detectives attempted to Arrest Jones, as he jumped from a Third Floor Window Seriously injuring himself.
Mr. Jones was Wanted in connection with The Murder of Luis Rosa-Rodriguez. On November 7, 2023, Mr. Rosa-Rodriguez was Shot and Killed on The Unit Block of South of Florida Avenue in Atlantic City, New Jersey. An investigation by Members of The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit and The Atlantic City Police Department were able to Identify Jones as the individual who Allegedly Shot and Killed Mr. Rosa-Rodriguez.
Following the investigation, on December 11, 2023, a Warrant for Jones'Arrest was Issued on The Charges of First Degree Murder; Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon; and Second Degree Certain Persons Not to Possess Weapons. Jones had remained a Fugitive until Today when he was Located and Arrested.
