BREAKING: Woodbine, New Jersey Man Charged For Stabbing Death

30-YEAR-OLD WOODBINE MAN CHARGED FOR THE JANUARY 1st ATLANTIC CITY MURDER

     "Vincent Oglesby Was Charged Last Wednesday For The Fatal Stabbing Of Vincent O'Brien, III."

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ.- A 30-Year-Old Woodbine, New Jersey was Charged Last Wednesday in connection with The New Year's Day Violent Stabbing Death of a 50-Year-Old man that occurred in Atlantic City, New Jersey.


     According to Atlantic County Prosecutor William E. Reynolds, on Monday, January 1, 2024, at 6:15 a.m., Members of The Atlantic City Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a man Bleeding on The Unit Block of South California Avenue in Atlantic City.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, later identified as Vincent O'Brien, III suffering from a Stab Wound to his Neck. Mr. O'Brien was immediately transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center where he succumbed to his injury and was pronounced deceased a short time later. 


     A Swift-Moving Investigation by Members of The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit in conjunction with The Atlantic City Police Department was able to identify Vincent Oglesby, 30, of Woodbine, New Jersey as the Suspect and the individual responsible for the Stabbing Death of Mr. O'Brien.


     Accordingly, on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, Mr. Oglesby was Taken into Custody in Pleasantville, New Jersey, and Formally Charged with Murder and Weapons Offenses. Mr. Oglesby was Processed on The Charges and was Remanded to The Atlantic County Justice Facility pending Future Court Proceedings.
