BREAKING: Trenton, New Jersey Man Charged With Child Pornography

19-YEAR-OLD TRENTON MAN WAS CHARGED LAST THURSDAY WITH CHILD PORNOGRAPHY OFFENSES

     "Mouhamadou Ndiour Has Been Charged In Connection With The Possession & Distribution Over 1000 Images Of Child Sexual Abuse Material."

TRENTON, NJ.- Following an investigation, a 19-Year-Old Trenton, New Jersey man was Taken into Custody on Thursday, January 18, 2024, and Charged with Multiple Child Pornography Offenses.


     According to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri, Mouhamadou Ndiour, 19, of Trenton, New Jersey was Formally Charged on Thursday with One Count of First Degree Distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material; One Count of Possession with the Intent to Distribute Child Sexual Abuse Material; and One Count of Second Degree Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material. 


     Mr. Ndiour was Processed on The Charges and was Remanded to The Mercer County Correctional Center pending Future court Proceedings in Mercer County Superior Court.


     The Charges stem from an investigation after Detectives of The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office Internet Crimes Against Children Unit had recently received information from The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that an individual in Mercer County was Distributing items that Depicted The Sexual Exploitation or Abuse of Prepubescent and Pubescent Children. Mr. Ndiour was ultimately identified as a suspect.


     On Thursday, January 18, 2024, Members of The Mercer County Tactical Response Team, The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office, and Homeland Security Investigations, Trenton Office, Executed a Court Authorized Search Warrant at Mr. Ndiour's Trento Residence, where at that time Detectives Seized Multiple Electronic Devices. Further Forensic Analysis of The Devices determined that Mr. Ndiour Possessed and Distributed over 1000 Digital Images Depicting the Sexual Exploitation of Children.


     If Convicted on The Charges Mr. Ndiour will Face a Potential Prison Sentence of up to Twenty Years in New Jersey State Prison and will be subject to Parole Supervision for Life and will be required to Register under Megan's Law Requirements.
