42-YEAR-OLD TEXAS MAN CHARGED AFTER NEW JERSEY STATE TROOPERS FIND 301 POUNDS OF MARIJUANA IN HIS TRUCK

KNOWLTON, NJ.- Yesterday, Warren County Prosecutor James L.Pfeiffer reported that a 42-Year-Old Fort Worth, Texas man was Taken into Custody and Charged after New Jersey State Troopers uncovered 301 Pounds of Marijuana hidden inside his Truck at The Knowlton Commercial Vehicle Inspection and Weigh Station.
Following a Routine Commercial Vehicle Inspection, and Consent to Search the Truck by The Driver Ian Munringayi, New Jersey State Troopers Found 301 Pounds of Marijuana Hidden in The Cargo Hold of The Truck. Documentation in The Truck indicated that the Truck was en route from Chicago, Illinois to The Bronx, New York. During The Inspection, Mr. Munringayi provided State Troopers with a Fraudulent International Driver's License.
Accordingly, Mr. Munringayi was Taken into Custody and Formally Charged with One Count of First Degree Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana; Third Degree Hindering Apprehension; and Fourth Degree Possession of Marijuana. Mr. Munringayi was Processed on The Charges and Released on a Complaint Summons from The Warren County Jail.
If Convicted on all The Charges Mr. Munringayi will Face the Potential Term of up to Twenty Years in New Jersey State Prison.
