PATERSON, NJ.- Gunfire Erupted last night in Paterson, New Jersey, leaving a 16-Year-Old Paterson, New Jersey Juvenile Hospitalized in stable condition from a Non-Life Threatening Gunshot Wound.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Monday, January 22, 2024, just before 8:00 p.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a Shooting in the area of Hamilton and Godwin Avenue in The City of Paterson.
Shortly after arriving on the scene, Paterson Police Officers were notified that the victim of the Shooting, a 16-Year-Old Paterson Juvenile had arrived by Private Vehicle at Saint Joseph's University Medical Center seeking treatment for a Non-Life Threatening Gunshot Wound.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. Currently, no arrests have been made as Police continue to search for a suspect.
