ONE DEAD, ONE HOSPITALIZED IN A THURSDAY NIGHT NEWARK NEW JERSEY SHOOTING

NEWARK, NJ.- A 35-Year-Old Becomes the Third Victim of Gun Violence in less than a week after he was Fatally Shot Thursday Night on a Newark, New Jersey Street.
According to Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II, on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at around 6:30 p.m., Members of The Newark Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a Shooting on The 700 Block of Martin Luther King Boulevard in Newark.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found two victims both suffering from Multiple Gunshot Wounds. One of the victims, 35-Year-Old Sabree Gantt was immediately transported to University Hospital where succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased 90 Minutes Later.
A Second Victim, an Unidentified Individual who suffered Gunshot Wounds was also transported to The Hospital where he remains in Stable Condition.
