MAN FATALLY GUNNED DOWN LAST NIGHT ON A NEWARK NEW JERSEY STREET

     "Essex County Authorities Are Searching For A Suspect Who Fatally Shot A Man Late Last Night In Newark."

NEWARK, NJ.- An Unidentified Newark, New Jersey man becomes the Second Victim of Newark, New Jersey Gun Violence in 2024 after he was Fatally Shot Late Last Night on a Newark Street.

     According to Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II, on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, just minutes before 10:00 p.m., Members of The Newark Police Department responded to a report of a Shooting on The 100 Block of Ridgewood Avenue in Newark. 

     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man outside at that location suffering from Multiple Life-Threatening Gunshot Wounds. The who remains unidentified at this time was immediately transported to University Hospital and despite Life-Saving Efforts the man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased about 90 minutes later.
