14-YEAR-OLD KILLED AND 16-YEAR-OLD INJURED IN A LATE FRIDAY NIGHT ATLANTIC CITY SHOOTING

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ.- Atlantic County Authorities are continuing to investigate a Late Friday Night Altercation that ended with a Teen Boy being Fatally Shot and another injured.
According to Atlantic County Prosecutor William E. Reynolds, on Friday, January 5, 2024, at approximately 10:48 p.m., Members of The Atlantic City Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting an altercation and Possible Shots Fired located on The 3300 Block of Atlantic Avenue in Atlantic City.
Upon arrival, Police Officers located Two Juvenile Males on the Sidewalk and in the Roadway who both sustained Gunshot Wounds. The First Victim, a 16-year-old Boy from Atlantic City, was transported to AtlantiCare Medical Center for treatment of a Gunshot Wound to his Leg.
A Second Victim, a 14-Year-Old Boy from Atlantic City, was transported to AtlantiCare Medical Center with a Gunshot Wound to his Head. Despite Life-Saving Efforts the Boy succumbed to his injury the following day and was pronounced deceased.
