BREAKING: Active Camden City, New Jersey Homicide Investigation

20-YEAR-OLD CAMDEN CITY MAN WAS GUNNED DOWN EARLY SATURDAY EVENING ON A CAMDEN STREET

     "Camden County Authorities Are Continuing To Investigate The Shooting Death Of Joel Maldonado."

CAMDEN, NJ.- A 20-Year-Old Camden City, New Jersey man was pronounced Dead at the Hospital after being Struck Multiple Times by Gunfire Saturday Evening on a Camden City Street.

     According to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay, on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at approximately 6:31 p.m., Members of The Camden County Police Department responded to a Multiple ShotSpotter Activation for Gunfire on The 800 Block of Grant Street in Camden City.

     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, later identified as Joel Maldonado, 20, of Camden City, New Jersey suffering from Multiple Gunshot Wounds. Mr. Maldonado was immediately transported to Cooper University Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead 45 Minutes Later.

     The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made as Police continue to search for a Suspect.
