32-YEAR-OLD WEST NEW YORK MAN SENTENCED TO PRISON FOR FACILITATING CHILD PORNOGRAPHY

     "Joseph Suarez Was Sentenced To 15 Years In State Prison For Having A 13-Year-Old Boy Provide Videos Committing Sex Acts On 4-Year-Old Girl."

JERSEY CITY, NJ.- Today, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez reported, on Friday, December 1, 2023, Joseph Suarez, 32, of West New York, New Jersey was Sentenced to 15 Years in New Jersey State Prison for Internet Sex Crimes involving Children. 

     On October 20, 2023, Mr. Suarez Pleaded Guilty to One Count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child for Facilitating Child Sex Abuse Material. Friday's Sentence will require Mr. Suarez to Serve Eighty-Five Percent of his Custodial Term before becoming Eligible for Parole. Suarez will be Subject to Megan's Law Registration Requirements and be under Parole Supervision for Life.

     On January 10, 2023, The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received information that Child Pornography was being Created and Shared through the Social Media Platform Discord.

     An investigation ensued and Detectives determined that Mr. Suarez Communicated with a 13-Year-Old Boy from out of State and Instructed him to Provide Videos and Images of the Boy Committing Sex Acts on a 4-Year-Old Girl. Following the Execution of a Court Authorized Search Warrant on Suarez's Home, Detectives found and Seized over 1000 Digital Files of Child Sex Abuse Material.
