BREAKING: Paterson, New Jersey Shooting Investigation

AFTER SEVEN DAYS GUNFIRE RETURNS TO THE STREETS OF PATERSON NEW JERSEY

     "20-Year-Old Man Hospitalized After Being Struck By Gunfire Friday Night In Paterson."

PATERSON, NJ.- After a Seven-Day Pause in Senseless Violence, Gunfire once again returns to The Streets of Paterson, New Jersey, after a 20-Year-Old man was Hospitalized after being Hit by Gunfire Friday Night.


     According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Friday, December 1, 2023, at just before 6:30 p.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a Shooting in the area of Broadway and Washington Street in Paterson.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a 20-Year-Old man suffering from a Non-Fatal Gunshot Wound. The man was immediately transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center for treatment. Responding Officers were able to locate a Crime Scene in that area.


     The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time. More information may become available once released by Authorities.
