NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ.- Middlesex County Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding a Shooting after Gunfire Erupted Last Night inside a Local New Brunswick, New Jersey Bar Killing One man and Leaving Two others Hospitalized.
According to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone, on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at approximately 11:10 p.m., Members of The New Brunswick Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a Shooting at The La Famosa Bar, located at 117 Remsen Avenue in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found Two Men, both having sustained Gunshot Wounds. Both Men were immediately transported to Robert Wood Hospital, where Enger Abreu, 19, of New Brunswick, New Jersey, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased a short time later. A Third Man was located at a nearby residence suffering from a Gunshot Wound. The man was also transported to Robert Wood Hospital for treatment.
The names of the Two Men and their condition have been withheld as the investigation continues.
