BREAKING: Hackensack, New Jersey Man Charged With Sex Crimes On A Juvenile

31-YEAR-OLD MARRIED HACKENSACK MAN CHARGED FOR SEXUALLY ASSAULTING A TEEN

     "Hector Tangamasi-Shique Was Charged On Friday With Sex Crimes For The Sexual Assault Of A Child Under 16 Years Old."

HACKENSACK, NJ.- Yesterday, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella reported that following an investigation a 31-Year-Old Married Hackensack, New Jersey man was Taken into Custody and Charged on Friday with Sex Crimes for the Alleged Sexual Assault of a Child under the Age of Sixteen Years Old.


     On Friday, December 15, 2023, Members of The Hackensack Police Department contacted Detectives of The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit regarding allegations of Sexual Assault of a Juvenile. 


     An investigation was initiated, after interviewing witnesses including the Victim, Detectives of The Bergen County Special Victims Unit and The Hackensack Police Department determined that Hector Tangamasi-Shique, 31, of Hackensack, New Jersey, Sexually Assaulted a Child Under the Age of Sixteen in Hackensack, New Jersey.


     At the conclusion of the investigation, on Friday, December 15, 2023, Mr. Tangamasi-Shique was Arrested at The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office in Paramus, and Formally Charged with One Count of First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault; Two Counts of Second Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; and Two Counts of Third Degree Aggravated Criminal Sexual Contact.


     Mr. Tangamasi-Shigue was Processed on The Charges and Remanded to The Bergen County Jail pending Future Court Proceedings in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack, New Jersey.
